Hi all, checking in on my lunch break. Today has been so-so with the eating. I ate a pretzel stick (not one of the small ones, I guess it's more of a rod being about 10 inches long) and I think it came out to about 2 points. That's 2 points I wasn't planning on using for a snack, but I was feeling famished even after my morning snack so I snuck it in. That only leaves 8 points for dinner which is going to be difficult since the BF wants to go out to eat and then see a movie. It is very hard to find something at a restaurant that is only 8 points. Might be going for the salad tonight. I got in a great 47 minute 3 mile WATP which had me sweating but felt good at the end. I would like to exercise tonight, but it looks like my plans are already full with dinner and a movie. Blah. The BF is going out of town for awhile on Saturday so I think I'll try and get in an extra long workout session. I'm going to NJ Sunday night for work which has me stressing but I'm trying not to panic over it. I don't like traveling, but I'm trying to view this as a learning experience.

Oh well - at least my hair & make-up I fixed for the drivers license pic looks faboo for work tonight!

Aud, that sucks about your birth certificate! I am sure you can get a new one and take the test soon.

Ok, so everyone that wants to do a pushup/abs challenge with me, maybe we could start on Monday. Maybe 50 abs (your choice) and 20 pushups? Is 20 too many? Too few? We can all decide on a number and then increase each week. They can be motified (i.e. "girl") pushups. I would really like to work up to doing "real" pushups, but that will be a while.

I am really hoping to get myself in gear! Chell, I think the confessional idea is a great one! I will probably be contributing to it quite often!

Charity - 20pushups, girly or not, might be a tall order for me right now. Heheh. I might have to start at 10 and try to add 5 a week or something? Crunches I can do for ages, but pushups are a different story!!

Let's all start with a goal of 10 then, and if individual people want to do more, then great. I'd like to have something doable for everyone that wants to do it. We can bump up the number of abs too (maybe 100?). We can just check in here as we are posting our other stuff for the board.

I have been reading about everyone's battle with the munchies this week, and today I had my own battle....snack day at school. I have come to realize that teacher love to eat sweets!!! Coffee cake, carmel popcorn, chips, taco dips, cheesies...the list goes on! I helped myself to some grapes, a couple of crackers, and then a little piece of coffee cake (to go with the tea that I made after lunch. I ate my cup of watermelon, and had my fruit smoothie, so I don't think my little indulgence was that bad.
I need to stay o/p for the weekend if I want to be able to contribute to our win this week...and we are going to win ladies!!!!

Hey everybody!

I'm OP for 27 days today! Feels good. Habits are really forming, which I'm so glad for.

I'm upping my water alot lately, more than b4. I had one day where I met that goal, but most days are a little over half what I'd like to get in me.

That's smart about using a small coffee cup, less than a cup. Mine's at least a cup.

Tina, I think u look like Faith Hill. (She's one of my favorites, since her very first album.) Anyone ever told you that? I love flea markets and all that too.

Aud, hope u can get your DL soon. I hate it when that happens too!

Charity, I'd love to do the challenge. I can't do push ups because of my wrists but I can do crunches. Did you all start yet?

Dea, I don't think your eating was bad at all.

Nova, good idea to try to get in an extra long workout. I wish I had more time too!

Chelle, I like the idea of your power naps! And the confessionals too. Might need that one of these days. I'm white knuckling it thru the munchies I get at nite. I just try to go on to bed when I'm like that.

Cat, it sure is nicer to walk with someone. I'd like my husband to go with me but someone has to stay here with the 5 kids! LOL Dang it! I just do the treadmill lately but love walking outside.

Rhonda, I soooo know about the cake thing. My MIL likes to make rude remarks about my and my husband's weight but makes pans of my favorite, brownies, and leaves them here. I just don't get some people.

Denice, hope ur weekend is calmer than your week. For me, it's stays about the same. No, the weekend is much more hectic because I have all 5 of the kids plus we have football games and shopping to do. Scary!!

Hi to anyone I missed. Hope u all have a great weekend and don't forget to weigh in soon! I think I'll wait til closer in this week. So far I show to be down at least 2 lbs. Yay!

Don't even consider giving up. That's not an option. The length of time it takes you to reach your goal is only a heartbeat in the continuum of time.

Don't try to accomplish in a week what needs to take a year, and don't get discouraged if that year becomes two or three. It will happen if it's meant to and you believe in it completely.

Well weighed in tonight : and am down 6.4 pounds for a total of almost 10 pounds YAY! if I keep this up I might have to higher my halloween goal!!!!!!!!

Morning Ladies
I got in a 70 min walk this morning. I wasn't going to do it, but I had pizza last night and figured I better get some of it walked off. And we're going down to Ohio today for dh's paternal side family reunion. No clue what kind of food will be there but am taking grape tomatoes and lite string cheese for the ride down as my snack, and my 64oz mug of water!! I'm hellbent on having a good weigh in at WW on Monday.

Utahgirl ~ on a great loss this week!!!

Charity ~ I have a half wall by my stairs that I can do my pushups from. Then will work towards doing them on the floor. Crunches I can do!! I do them on my exercise ball.

Well I need to get a shower so we can get outta here and head down to Ohio. Have an awesome day ladies and I"ll check in later this evening.

Utahgirl, you rock! What an awesome loss! Congratulations.

I slept in this morning and am now putting in a couple of hours of work on my project thats due on Tuesday. Then, I'll probably weed the flower bed and do some laundry/cleaning. Don't you guys just envy my day! We didnt get to go out last night for Hubby's birthday, so we probably are going tonight. I finally got him to tell me where he wants to go. I looked up the menu on-line and I've already chosen my on-plan meal. I don't even want to look at a menu when we get there! So far, the scales arent really dropping for me. I've stayed on-plan, but the water weight is messing me up. I can tell this because my feet are sometimes swollen. Hormone therapy is just soooo much fun...Not!! I will try to drink lots of water this weekend and see if that helps the scales on Monday's weigh-in. My goal is at least 15 pounds by Christmas. I really really want Onederland by January 1st. I'm giving it my best shot!

Hope everyone has a great on-plan weekend. Go Blue!!

this has been a really tough week for me too, i see most of us had prob.s w/ the munchie monster this week. I cheated all day on Thursday, and I've been so good about being OP all this time. Oh well, it will get better, in fact I've been op yesterday and today, so it's going to be ok, not sure that i'll lose much this week, but i can def. tell that the inches are falling, i'm wearing jeans that i haven't worn since before dd1 was born, and she's 4. they're still a 16, but they fit like a 14 i hope everyone has a great op weekend, hopefully next week i'll be able to check in more, i've been sssooo busy this week, just life happening you know? see ya!!
