yea I pm'd her earlier about her numbers. Heaven forbid she can't change them in time! Then I'll have to use the number she posted to keep things fair!

Oh the drama!

BTW exercise challenge is up! It's gonna start tomorrow!

Hey everyone . . checking in from my business trip in NJ here for a second. I am feeling that this week is going to be a total loss for me. I am out of town until Wednesday evening, eating out every meal, which is making it hard to find healthy choices. Plus no exercising. I am trying to find the healthiest choices I can wherever I am eating, but it is hard when you are eating in cafeterias and hotel restaurants and such. I'm hoping to at least maintain this week and not gain back several pounds. Once I get home Wednesday evening, I will be super OP for the rest of the week and try to get in as much exercise as possible. Well back to work!

Well, I just loaded Mindless Eating on my iPod. I hope it is interesting. More importantly I hope it is inspirational.

I have started using my 150 'graze' calories again. I had gotten away from it because I was saying "oh that is part of my grazing" and grazing more than 150, probably.

I plan to continue with the exercise challenge from last week and hit it everyday but Tuesday. I cannot believe how hard I worked last week to get the crappy results that I did.

Why couldn't we just take the -1 as her loss? I'm sure she didn't gain that much, right?? Maybe just ask Melissa if that's ok and we'd do the same for her too, if that happened??

She may not get back online until tomorrow!!!

Well, I am lowering my exercise goal for a while. Having this many babies is wearing me out and I know I'm working from the minute I wake up (even b4 I brush my teeth I'm making bottles) til I go to bed and even one still wakes twice a night. So I'm getting more tired. I usually log about 3000 steps a day just cooking, cleaning, changing diapers, making bottles, etc. I will say I will be sure to hit 6000 a day. If I can go to 15,000, great! But I've been having to stay up after they go to bed and walk, jog and march for an hour sometimes b4 bed. And I'm just beat by then.

I think that if I keep my food OP and keep doing more than usual moving during the day, I will still lose around 2 lbs. a week. We'll see what happens.

I'm sorry to hear that a few of you had a bad week. Next week will be better! My week was good for weight loss, but exhausting. It's not worth the way I feel today. So that's why I'm tweaking my exercise plan. Can't get blood from a turnip. I'm sure even at 6000 I'll be on the treadmill some every day. I was on the tmill in the mornings of those days I hit 8k, plus had to do more at nite! I was exercising at least an hour a day, in shorter increments. Gotta slow down tho.

Today is my 30th day OP!!! So far it's working fine. Lots of fruits and some veggies, lean meat and fresh tea with sweet and low. I eat Honey Nut Cheerios dry, a cup at a time when I get the munchies. I noticed I don't crave salt near like I did b4, but then again I hardly eat it and u know if you eat it, u crave more. I think that always makes me hold soooooo much water. Uggh!

Ok, I'll be quiet. Have a great day!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, but I'm still alive and kicking. Work has been really stressful and I had to work pretty much the whole weekend, so I didn't get in too much exercise, but I did alot of physical labor at work (painting the art gallery!). Anyway, still OP with my food and heading off for a dance class tonight, even though i'm already exhausted.

Selina
- you are AMAZING for what you do with all those kids! Plus weight loss, you've gotta be some kinda rock star!

Onthetee
- great idea with the "grazing calories", it sounds similar to the '"points allowance" w/ weight watchers. Is yours part of a specific diet or your own plan?

NoVaVTFan
- traveling is sooo hard with a diet, can you just do the thing where you get a doggy bag and bag up at least half before you start eating? I know i have such a hard time not eating all my food at resturantss!

Dea – congrats on the 40 lb mark that’s FANTASTIC!!! You’re halfway there!

Practice Living
– don’t worry about that 2 lbs, it’ll just come off as a bigger loss next week!

Aud – I totally agree about those pushups, even ONE is a challenge for me, think of how strong we’ll be after 12 weeks though, whoo hoo!

Chellez – I hope your week becomes less stressful! Thanks for all of your hard work as always!

Well now this is interesting considering last week we asked for a little leway for someone who posted in the wrong place and the answer was a great big no, even though I would have allowed it for the blue team. Now I could be mean here! LOL!! That being said I really dont think any rules are being bent, it really looks like a typo since she did put the (-1) behind it. That would be incredibly unfair to have to use the 198 because then it messes the numbers up next week too.

Okay I'll go back to my own corner...just had to give you guys a lil ch!t! LOL! Have a great night Blue Team and good luck tomorrow!!!

Well, it would make sense to have it as a "no one won" week so we would really be even in that it would be a "draw" like last week when no one "officially" won, right?

Chances are she's dyslexic (like me) and put 198 instead of 189. Good thing she put the (-1) so we know what she meant!

Since the deadline is 11:59pm EST, I will pretty much always check in with an update in the appropriate place in the late morning (PST) on weigh in day because I don't have a scale at home and weigh in at school in between classes on Mondays.

We're getting down to the wire with 3 people still to check in! Let's go blue!

Whatever happens this week, we'll do even better next week, I'm sure! I'm stoked for the exercise challenge, and I bet it will kick our butts!

Hiya Blues!

Just checking in from the picket line - needless to say my whole life is turned upside down by this strike - literally: shift-wise AND financially. WOW! What stress . . . I DID manage to get my abs/push ups in - but no real workout walking - gotta say tho' that I think I needed a day of rest - that elliptical kicked my a$$ Sunday! Eating remained OP so hoping for a big loss next week despite the turmoil.

ttyal!

Morning Girls!

Just getting ready for work and I popped on to look at the weight in thread.

Looks like only sassykay and diannawv need to use freebie weeks so I know we still had a loss this week!

I'll be at work in about 30 minutes so I'll have the results posted then!

PS: The exercise post will be up then too for all of you early morning workout junkies!

Good morning, Everyone. Just a brief post before I get started on my project....the deadline is noon today and I'm just a tad stressed. My sinus issues are back again...with a vengeance! I'm sorry to say that I'm not handling the stress very well. I went off-plan again yesterday afternoon and I'm feeling a bit discouraged...the doubts are creeping in. I really think that a lot of my issue right now is the sinus medicine. Has anybody else noticed that it makes you feel a bit depressed? But, I'm trying to get back on-plan today and I'm planning on having a great day.

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day.

Good morning ladies! Yesterday was a good day for me. I hopped on my treadmill and did 45min/3miles of a walk/jog! It felt good to just get it done in the morning! I think I may do my treadmill again today or a video! It's supposed to storm here today and when it storms I like curling up with my book while the kids are at school, so no gym today! My back is still killing me, but nothing a few Aleve won't knock out! We went to my MIL's last night to help close the pool, and then stayed for dinner! I have to admit I had some dessert also, but I didn't feel out of control with it! Today not much going on. Just doing my walk and then chilling today. I made my homemade sauce yesterday so, no cooking for me today! YAY! Have a great day ladies!

Morning all~
Thought I'd pop in quick before I workout and do house stuff. It was raining this morning and I don't like walking with an umbrella when there's lightening.
Yesterday when I weighed in I was soooo disappointed. I don't know what happen as I was on plan with everything last week and over the weekend. I had 2 slices of pizza friday night, and I know that wouldn't cause a 1.8 lb gain. Seriously I had to fight back tears after WI. I'm so frustrated by doing things the right way and it not showing. Yes my clothes are looser, but when will the weight go down?? I guess I'll tweak some things, but I've already lowered my points and that's what got the scale finally going down. I guess more fiber with veggies and fruit. I do know I"m not giving up like I would have before. I know it's not a diet, I don't want the diet mentality, I just want to lose this weight!!!!! Thanks for listening.
