I had to take a freebie week this week. How does that work? Next week when I record my weight, do I calculate from this week for my loss(!) or from last week?
Sorry, team!

You would calculate from last week since its the last recorded weight in public.

Well I just looked at the weigh ins! You'll know the results in a few!

On another note...

We had to use some freebie weeks this week but some of those people didn't post anything in week three! Please check the list below and make sure you wrote in Week 3 that you were taking a freebie week!
  • glitterlicious
  • lindseylouwho
  • ottoette
  • zdmorrow413

The following people have no freebie weeks left and will end up being removed from the team if they don't weigh in next week!
  • diannawv
  • sassykay

Well I'm going to get the results posted!

Alright the results are posted!

I have to finish up some things around the office this morning so I'll be off and on.

I was just curious if any of you ladies deal with herbal medication or muscle testing and what not. My bosses wife did a muscle test on me yesterday and it's some really interesting stuff.

Just let me know! I'll be back in a few!

Good morning, Gorgeous Blues!

Yesterday, I was able to stay 100% on-plan and did 60 minute walk on the treadmill. I'm feeling great about my plan today, so I'm aiming for another 100% on-plan day and another 60 minutes of exercise. I know that these "good feeling" days don't always show up, so I'm going to ride this wave as far as I can! Tonight is Biggest Loser. My TiVo is already set and I plan on getting my exercise and Mom/Wife duties all finished early. Despite all of the negative talk about this show, I still really get inspired by the contestants changes and love watching.

Michelle- It is very difficult to stay on-plan when finances get tight. Hope you can still manage to find a way to stay somewhat on-plan. You can do this!
Marianne - Congrats on your loss. You must have gotten tons of exercise running around after a group of little girls!
Tina, Charity, Selina - How are the little ones feeling today?
Cathy - Your clothes are looser...how exciting! Who cares about the number on those stupid scales.
Denice - Congratulations on no longer being overweight!
On-the-Tee - You ran for 30 consecutive minutes?! That is awesome!
Aud - How are you doing with the water today?
Sara - Congratulations on your new job!

Hope everyone is having a great on-plan day.

Hi all~
I got back from my walk a bit ago, just did 45 minutes and am going to go do Walk Strong to get in some strength training. I'll start doing that 2x's a week. I'm doing the pushups and abs on my exercise ball. Makes it easier doing them(pushups) on the ball right now, I still feel it but it's not such a strain holding up my weight.
I was looking through my Prevention mag last night and there's an ad in there for TBL workout book and in small print at the bottom it says there will be a cardio dvd coming out in December.

Hey Aud at my WW meeting yesterday we were talking about different ways to get in the water. Some people were saying that drinking decaffeinated tea, hot or cold, can count towards your water consumption. I might give that a try too. Especially when the weather turns colder it's harder for me to get in all my water.

Sara congrats on your new job!!

Well better get moving. Have a terrific Tuesday. Talk to ya later.

Rhonda - Yea it does get tough when money is tight. Daniel and I have lived together for about 4 years now and for some reason we haven't combined our bills. I think it's because he has so much to pay, if we did that I'd always be broke! I usually have a really hard time around the first week of the month and the last week because I'm saving those paychecks for rent. (Which is about to go up... yet again!) I keep wishing wee could find a decent sized apartment or townhouse we could rent for less that 900 a month so we could get some of his and my bills paid off then start looking into a house, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen in this area. It seems like the less you pay, the crime rate goes up in that area. Ah well.

Good morning ladies! Well I just wrote a nice long post and lost it, so condensed version! Today I am decorating for Halloween! My little ones are feeling better, but I'm keeping them home one more day just to keep an eye on them! Mattie is really excited to help me decorate! Not sure what I'm making yet for dinner. I'll have to take a peek in the freezer! Today I really want to get to the gym! I think that was about it in a nutshell!

Rhonda- Great job with staying OP yesterday and doing the treadmill! I'm with you, I really enjoy TBL! Keep up the good work!

Chellez-Do you have an Aldi by you? I'm not sure if I've asked you this before or not! My Aldi has really nice produce for cheap...I know when there's no money there's no money, but I thought when you have some cash free maybe shopping there would help stretch it a bit!

Cathy- I have never done a TBl video! I'll have to check one out....I wonder if my video store has any, that way I could try it and see if I like it!

Sara- Congrats on the new job! How exciting! Don't get to discourged with the scale...I'm sure next week will be a nice loss for you!

CONGRATS BLUE TEAM ON WINNING WEEK 3!!! Keep it up girls!

Have a great day ladies!

Tx for Posting we won this Week, Tina . . . felt too dorky to ask! Need a major cleaning around here b4 we can decorate for Halloween - Tess will be 10 this month - always has been her fave Holiday - so its kind of combination Halloween and Birthday Month.

I drink a gallon of Green Tea a day catsgh . . . some purists think it shouldn't count but BAH I say to them - BAH! I used to be addicted to Diet Coke so my rationale is this has GOT to count! I get up to 150 or so oz - after the green tea it's just H2o . . . and yeah, I pee a lot but believe it or not the body adjusts when you finally get hydrated.

Outta here early today . . . ttyal in the Wee Hours - 30 days left in Oct. girls . . . make this Tuesday COUNT!

Yes, and yes. You won't find so much as a Tylenol or commercial cough drop in my home, but there are plenty of natural remedies.

Hi Bluezers!

Can't stay long, just saying hi. Did get to read ur posts tho. Hope all the kids feel better. And thanks for asking, yes mine are getting better now! And Bryan and I are too. Yay!

Some of you are having the same thing where the scale shows nothing but ur doing everything right???? Me too!! Dang it! However, I am down another inch on my hips (my worst spot) and 1/4 of an inch here and there. So it IS working. but not good for the competition! No movement on the scale. So aggravating!!!! But I'm hanging in there. Today is day 38 Op I think. Woohoo! On my way to 100! Then I guess I will just keep going anyway. LOL. Got to!

Well, all I've had is coffee so far so I'm starving, it's after 1pm. Been bzy all morning. Big hugs, Selina

I had I feeling you'd say yes!

I went to the herbal store today with my boss' wife. (she got me a free 30 minutes off) and I got some stuff for Daniel's cold/sinus issues along with my migraine issues. This lady did a muscle test and had like 10 drawers of stuff she went through. It was really interesting I'm just curious to see how and if it works.

Daniel is getting Fenugreek & thyme along with Golden Salve (made of olive oil, beeswax and herbs) and I'm supposed to pick up Adaptamax tomorrow

I also got some organic banana chips which are making for a yummy snack. But I'm starting to feel "funny" in my tummy!

I went home for lunch today and my Aunt Flow stopped by right on time! Hopefully she'll be gone by Saturday!

Good morning, Blues!

I'm on a roll. Yesterday was day 2 of being 100% on-plan and working out. I feel great....my thinking is crystal clear and I have so much energy and I just feel optimistic about obtaining my goals one day. Why don't I do this all of the time? Please remind me of this when I tell you that I'm struggling again.

I have a busy day ahead of me with work and church. But, I will make sure to include my 60 minutes of exercise.

Cathy - I think I'll join you on the push-ups and situps each day. I need to add something with my cardio and that seems a great place to get started.
Tina - so glad the kiddies are feeling better and that you wanted to go to the gym yesterday. Isnt it great when we actually want to do these things?
Aud - I'm kind of on-the-fence about the whole water thing. I think Green Tea is an excellent way of staying hydrated. I try to drink plain water, but I just can't make myself drink so much of it. I like the flavored waters from Target. The ginger peach ones are my favorite.
Soulbliss - so glad you decided to come back and post with us. Never forget....you are our team member and we need you!
Selina - I know that we are in a weight loss competition and you want the scales to move down, but you lost inches! In my mind, that is so much more awesome than any number on the dumb ole scale!
Michelle - Please let us know how the herbs help with your migraines. I like the idea of using natural remedies....I use bioidentical hormones which are derived from plant sources....but, I do love my Excedrin migraine. However, I wouldnt be opposed to trying something more natural.

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day. Go Blue!!
