Well invoicing is finally finished! Now it's just addressing envelopes and getting them sent out which is way easier than dealing with my boss. I think my next project is getting the accounting books ready for quarterlies! How exciting! I have to enter in stuff from August so that should be fun. I usually don't have a problem with it and its really something I do just whenever. No fears! It will be done!
I went and saw my little nephew last night! Oh my he is so precious! I got to hold him for a few hours and needless to say my poor arm was worn out. Looks like a good excuse to pick up those weights again!
I was watching TBL last night and Jillian gave out a trainer tip I might start doing. It was like bringing resistance bands to work and then doing toning exercises when you can. I have some down time here at work and I work alone the majority of the time, but I'm always afraid if I do my situps and stuff up here someone will catch me in the act. Maybe resistance bands will be less noticed cause I can talk on the phone with a contractor and workout at the same time!
Well its day 2 of TOM and I'm not cranky or cramping! *proceeds to knock on wood* I brought a big jug of water and light stuff to eat so hopefully before the weigh in I can loose all of this weight and be down!
Ok enough of my gabbing.... I better get to addressing those envelopes!
Tina - I don't have an Aldi near me. I have a Wal-Mart and a Food Lion. Then there's Farm Fresh and they are pretty expensive.
Rhonda - I'll probably pick them up next month since my time for migraines has pretty much passed. If I do get them sooner I'll let you know how they work out.
Bliss - It's good to see you back and posting!
Selina - Glad you are feeling better! on losing those inches!
Cat - There was a big discussion about water in the WW forums. *goes to look for the thread* Ah Ha! Water w/Flavoring Count as a Water Serving? People really get heated over water with anything in it! It's definitely a good read!
Aud - Want to come clean my apartment while you're at it?
I went to the herbal store today with my boss' wife. (she got me a free 30 minutes off) and I got some stuff for Daniel's cold/sinus issues along with my migraine issues. This lady did a muscle test and had like 10 drawers of stuff she went through. It was really interesting I'm just curious to see how and if it works.
Daniel is getting Fenugreek & thyme along with Golden Salve (made of olive oil, beeswax and herbs) and I'm supposed to pick up Adaptamax tomorrow
I also got some organic banana chips which are making for a yummy snack. But I'm starting to feel "funny" in my tummy!
Can you count banana chips in your veggie challenge?
I am a earth mother hippy-type (solar panels, cloth diapers, car that runs on vegetable oil, don't vax the kids). I also have a background in science and medical writing. I worship at the church of logic. I have a really hard time reconciling all of that on many days.
That said, there is something to the muscle testing. It is an odd sensation to one second be strong enough to flip the tester across the room, pick up an allergen or whatever, and then be so weak that you cannot possibly flip a mosquito.
I think when you find a good practitioner, it makes all of the difference. There is a woman near us with whom I am familiar who is amazing AND started her career as an RN. For me, that is a good fit because she has that same belief teeter-totter than I do. She sees a place for all types of healing.
Keep us up to date on how all of those things are working. Fenugreek is given to nursing mothers to increase milk supply. Your husband isn't lactating is he?
Well guys...I only have a week and a half left here in Korea....THANK GOD!!!!!....been trying to clean my apt from top to bottom with bleach....it is so hard to do when you hate to clean....well hope everyone is doing good....I also got my mp3 player in the mail and downloaded the week 1 podcast for the C25K and I tried it and got about 1/2 way through it...not to bad considering that I am 270 pounds. Well better get back to my son...two year olds can sure be a handful!

I'm familiar with the C25K program, but not with the podcast. What is this? Is it music to help keep you going? I want to run again one day, but I need to build up the muscles that protect my knees first. I used to run 5 miles a day and I miss it. I do like to run with music, so the podcast might work for me.

The podcast is made by Robert Ullrey and he has nine weeks of podcasts.....it goes along with the coolrunning.com schedule and he has music and tells you when to walk and when to run....it is nice cause this way you do not have to have a stop watch or anything....he also has you walk for a 5 min warm-up...it is pretty cool...you should check it out....http://www.podcasts.ullreys.net/ ....hope that helps!

Maybe I can count them... but they have sugar on them so idk.
The way this lady did the muscle testing was just holding my wrist with her one hand then going through a few drawers of herbs with her other arm to find the ones we needed. When my bosses wife did it the other day she made me do the "hold one arm firm and the other on your head" approach.
Daniel refused to take the pills I bought cause he is a slave to what "real doctors" say. Oh well.... it's his loss! I'm going to take them so I can not get sick!
The bottle says fenugreek and thyme (mind you they are combined in the same pill) helps support ear health, relieve upper respiratory problems and sooth mucous membranes. It's good to know that fenugreek helps produce milk though... I'll be breast feeding when we have our first baby sometime next year. (Side note: no I'm not pregnant!)
Good morning ladies! This will be short and sweet! I have to give a big thank you to you gals! I sooo did not want to workout last night, but I thought of you all and how close we were to reaching Aruba, so I threw on my walking shoes, grabbed my Mp3 and headed out the door for a 4.5 mile walk! I have to say I felt fantastic afterwards! I will have to remember that next time I don't want to workout! Last night I watched TBL while Kev was at the gym, and then him and I watched House together! I love that show! I did get all my decorating finished, and the house looks super cute! I am making chicken enchiladas for dinner tonight, and going for a walk with my SIL this evening! I like walking with her, we match each others pace nicely! The kids still have a cough, but they are going to school today...no fevers, running around like nuts, so it's off to school! That is about all for me today! I'm off to shower up the little ones! Have a fantastic day ladies!ps...I'll try and get back later today to post personals!
Chellez, you mentioned Fenugreek.... I took that after I had my son to help boost my milk.... made me smell like maple syrup... no lie! My husband LOVED it!!! He came to bed with a fork in one hand and a tub of butter in the other on several occasions....(okay, maybe not so much, but it's a fun thought...lol)... but it really did make me smell like Maple Syrup....

Oh my! You made me choke on my coffee! That is so funny!
Now Posting from the comfort of my nu Puter Chair . . . the EXERCISE BALL that I talked about finding in the garage and airing up - ooooohhhh, about a MONTH AGO!
