Okay, can I join in???

30 minutes on the exercycle. Counts double since I really didn't want to do it. Situps = 25. After the situps, I thought I deserved a cookie since I made it to 25.

Last night I did 30 minutes on the Gazelle and had a great workout. Today is hiking with the puppies - I love weekends so that I can go to my favorite mountain trail.

What's everybody doing to move their bodies?

Well my exercise in August was the pits, but thankfully it is a new month and I will do what I can. Things are kind of crazy down here.

Anyway - I cleaned house on Saturday with my pedometer on and walked over 2 miles. This morning I did 30 minute Power Walk tapes with hand weights. So I'm up to 4 miles this month haha I'm on a roll.

September = 4 miles

hugs & prayers,
Cathy

Went for a hike yesterday and did quite good. Used the abuterol before ascending the mountain path and was able to breath the entire way. My legs were tired, but that was good. Then I did 27 situps last night. 28 was the goal, but I just couldn't do the last one.

Just got in the door from a 2.2 mile walk.my pedometer said 1.93.so I hopped in the car and it was 2.2.! Since my goal for the week is 2 miles I KNEW I had walked 2 miles and couldnt stand being UNDER that!

As a maintaining Lifetime member of Weight Watchers.I promise you the walking is my "salvation".........if I dont walk the weight slowly creeps back up on me.

My surgery was 11 weeks ago today...............it sure took me a while to get to 2 miles but I will increase it in a couple weeks!It was hard to start all over again but I did it! I knew I had to.!

Exercise is sooooooooooooooooooooooo important.please believe me..important when losing and important to maintaining!

Pat yourself on the back everytime you do any kind of exercise and it will become a part of who you are!!!!!!! Go gals!

I'm out of sync. with my formal routine right now, my left arm is severely allergic to poison ivy, so I'm grumpy about everything...but I've been staining wood and spending money on the house renovations and hyperventilating when I think about the $$$.

I'm also working on my flexibility and would LOVE to try Yoga, but I am a bit of a clutz, I'd be mortified in a class....but it is one of my future goals...I'm a big fan of "Exhale" show.

I did have a Pilates reformer at one time but sold it (I'm still kicking myself) because it was too big and didn't quite fit the decor (yes, Carla, the cats slept on it too). Pilates was a great thing to do in the evening as I stretched my back and shoulders. I did find a feasible alternative (supreme pilates trap-set-up) and I folds flat...for the price, it is nicely constructed. I hope to try some postures tonight, I thought it would surely help with my sleep/relaxation (so Marie don't call me at 3AM!)

Be back tomorrow to see if I have good results.
