You're not really alone, Marble. There are sloths lurking here (including me) who are impressed with your tenacity, and Cathy's as well. No excuses, but the humidity is back, and the idea of exercise is not appealing. Don't quit! I'm so in awe that I think I may need to go lie down on the couch for a while!

sure, go lay down on the couch while I'm slaving over a hot computer terminal, trying to please 240 individual student schedules and decide who wins the big prize this year ( a trip to a special conference we sponsor all expenses)

Here is my big exercise *fantasy*...I step on the scale and am shocked to see how low the number is...I shake my head in amazement and step on the scale again, the number REMAINS low, it's not an error......I run to the mirror and see {{{GASP}}} my CHEEKBONES! I stand sideways.... and view....A FLAT ABDOMEN..... I RUN to the closet and dig for my size 6 jeans....and pull them on easily and zip them up.....

then I go out and buy the winning lottery ticket!

If you're still looking for a student repellant, why not give up deodorant and showers and wear your workout clothes to work? Ha-ha.

I will be working again one of these days, and I do work hard. No computer (so I can't spend my day posting on my employer's dime - ) but I do have a microphone and a stuffy little booth to work in. Also colleagues, some of whom have taken the advice above...

Yesterday I deep sea fished in a 110 degree heat index and today I'm going to walk the supermarket instead of scooting and do some stretching/strength stuff

Wednesday: 35 mins of cardio, glutes, abs and chest. I completed my first goal I set for myself (21 days of exercise this month). My 2nd challenge will start on Saturday, it is 14 days of exercise, focusing on increasing intense cardio to 20+ mins. per session and 20 mins. of wts. sets.

I finally feel like I'm making progress and am planning on getting off my HTN meds soon, because it looks like my BP is NORMAL!!!
