Well Chicks it is time for my Thanksgiving vacation after today. Looking forward to having the week off and kicking the holidays off.

OMG 2frus you look so beautiful! Your skin is so pretty and your dress is fantastic. Congrats on the wedding. What fun pictures! Sounds like a great time.

Hi Star!

Tomorrow is the start of my vacation and luckily Dh was able to get an extra few days off too. Our weather is supposed to be really nice and we are planning on take a nice little spin around town on Wednesday and then get the house cleaned and some of the pre-cooking done that we can. On Thursday we are going to my parents for Thanksgiving, but then in the evening we are hosting some family at our house for the KC Chiefs/Denver game. Friday Dh and I have an appointment to check out the gym... We need something to kick our butts in gear!

I may not be able to check in too much this week with you chicks, but I just wanted to wish you all a very very happy Thanksgiving!!

2Fru - I saw a dude riding in a wet suit the other day. It looked pretty warm. Also handy when you go surfing? It sux to ride in the rain. I'm lucky to have a choice. Ride safe, sweetie!! OMG - what beautiful wedding pix!!! You look so beautiful!! A day to remember.

I had better quit hanging out online and get cracking on cooking....DH and I are going on a bike ride for charity in the morning....

Well Chicks it is back to work. What a weekend. Cooking, cleaning, cooking, getting Christmas decorations out and in yard and house, cooking, gingerbread house making, cooking, get tatoo for 16 year twins, and did I say cooking? Wow what a week. Got sister off and back to Arizona this a.m. Airport was somewhat of a zoo still. She has decided not to come for Christmas so it was a tearful departure. I will try to get out to see her before she is coming out in May for my son's wedding.

I did eat way to much food this week. I am not looking forward to stepping on the scales.

HELLO Chicks!!! I'm baaaaaaack!

Hope ya'll had great time off and wonderful Thanksgivings.

2frus.....OMG. I just looked at your wedding pics and they are outstanding!! You are a GORGEOUS bride...and boy are you skinny in that fabulous gown!!!!

Had a WONDERFUL week cruising....everyone had a great time. We had sunny, warm weather except for our first day at sea which was OK since we were busy exploring the ship. We found the casino, the spa pool & hot tub and the martini bar <lol>, so a good time was had by all despite a few hours of rain which was pretty cool to watch from the ship. After a tour of the island, we went on a little submarine in St. Maarten and got to see a reef and it's inhabitants up close without getting wet. Then on St. Thomas we took a catamaran over to St. John's to snorkel and see the beautiful beaches there. What fun we had! Saw lots of fish and even some dolphin! Now we're really looking forward to March, when we'll cruise the Western Caribbean to the Panama Canal for HH's Birthday

Here's a pic of us at the on-board wine-tasting...and one of me in St. Maartin right where the ships are docked...and one of Mike near the water so you can see how gorgeous those islands are. Enjoy!

More later when I get those underwater pics back that I took while snorkeling. Hope at least one of them comes out!

PS....I gained 4 pounds....most of them in martinis of every flavor, but mostly chocolate ones!!!!!!

Welcome back Jill your vacation sounds fantastic. The pictures are great! I love the blue water and sky. So pretty. Thanks for posting them. Looking forward to seeing more. 4 lbs not a bad gain for a week of fun! You can take it off in a snap.

Well Chicks I gained 3.5 lbs in the last 2 weeks. I am going to work on getting it off this week. What a pain! It is snowing like crazy here hazard on the roads it is like 20 degress, I hate this weather. It is suppose to be cold for the rest of the week.

Harleymom - well both of you, it'll come back off. The key is to catch it now while it's just a few pounds. I'd mention it's cold here, too...but I think I'd have to duck from the stuff you'll wanna throw at me. It's supposed to get to freezing tonight.

I finally got into a groove with food and workouts this last couple days. Monday was a rough spin class and I knew it was paybacks for all the bad food choices. Yesterday and today were a whole notha level....I love it when the grumpies are conquered by the endorphins.

My sister said it is 45 degrees in Arizona and everybody is acting like it is the North Pole. I guess that is the coldest it has been in 5 years. It is like 7 degree's here today. The ice on my tires was so built up I spent 15 min this am trying to knock it off so I don't rub my tires bare.

Gina congrats on getting to the spin class and working some of the calories off!

Jill OK lets do a race. Your goal of 165 by January is a pretty possiable thing to do if I don't go nuts over the next few weeks. I need to have a goal and try and stick to it. I am going to try and get to that goal too!

You guys are gonna gag when I tell you that I had to turn the A/C on today!!!! Yep...it's hot and humid as a chilly front approaches. It's probably the COLD front you got recently, HarleyMom. Supposed to cool off here by Monday...back to high's in the 60's, which is VERY chilly by our standards.

HarleyMom, I think we CAN GET TO 165 by January!!! Let's try our best and see what we can do! I haven't weighed myself since I got home from the cruise, I'm just hoping I haven't had any residual weight gain that will unexpectedly kick my butt. I haven't had any meat since I've been home....just trying to concentrate on veggies, fruit, whole grains and beans for a week or so to try to get back on track counting my points and logging in my food.

Gina, a BIG CONGRATS on getting back into the good food and workout groove! YAY YOU! You're right about those chocolate martinis...I had no clue there are soooooo many wonderful ones! And I had one (or two) of each and every one of them. OMG they were awesome...and so very evil!

I didn't really go through and read the thread but the name of the group caught my attention. My dh has an 86 FJ1200 and we are looking at a Virago 750 for me. It will be my first bike and I am just learning to ride. What fun.

Gina Congrats I am doing the party dance for you Chick!!!! That is so fantastic. I know you have been stuck for awhile so this is great. You skinny chick you! You motivate me to kick myself in the pants and get going. It can be done yes it has happened to one of us!

We are having a warm up today a whole 37 degrees! It is like a skating rink in the parking lot. We might get more snow this weekend. Tis the season falalalala and all that happy stuff. Oh boy!
