I owe it to working out....I'm pretty proud of myself for being consistent with going to the gym. If I could just stop eating everything in sight I might really get to goal. I stocked up on sugar free candy...I think I have an oral fixation that got worse when I quit smoking. Given, that was years ago....but I can find excuses with the best of 'em!
Holly- you should be in a commercial - you could sell some bikes looking like that! I almost want one of those bikes so I can look like that, too!
Glad to hear the meds are helping, WTG in keeping that marriage together!! I'm so happy for you! It's a hella lotta work.
Star - retirement...you gonna start cruisin? Jill could give some tips!! JK!
Hi chick - The plan was to work five more years and pay off afew bills and get in a good position to retire. We were gonna buy a toy box trailer and travel. Then not 4 months ago we bought $12,000 worth of dirt bikes...can we say - bad timing? Oh well, nothing is for certain yet and I'm sure whatever happens it was met to be..... Even if we visit the soup kitchens in Detroit often...lolOriginally Posted by chick_in_the_hat

HarleyMom, snow already, ugh!!!! will it last or is it just a fluke? I hope hope hope it melts right away!!
) I think your early retirement plan of getting a travel toy box and traveling sounds great!! I hope you and dh agree on whatever plan you take.
Hello!
peeking in! I kinda dropped out from the hardcore biking crowd, since I am just a little commuter! Although I did manage to get DF on the back and we went camping for a weekend! It was pretty much **** on earth since we got lost on the way there AND back!
I'm not seeing an end to the tiredness, although tomorrow night I might go home rather than going to the gym and have a nice nap.
And stay upright!
on the marathon!! That is quite impressive!
. He would sell the Softtail, of course. It's a thought, but damn! I want my Burgman!!!!
. Actual practice...my knees say otherwise.
all I can say about working out is that it is addictive - the hard part is getting going long enough to get addicted....maybe start with saying you'll do it on certain days for a month... find something fun like a class or a dvd...commit to 3 days a week or something. Then...just do it. If you aren't in to it on a particular day...do it anyway. I tell myself I'll take it easy that day...or tell myself I'll just do a half an hour instead of an hour...I find once I get going it feels good and I usually get the whole hour done.
That four-letter word is snow!!!! it started as lashing rain, then these stupid wet flurries! the ground is white, it's covering up the leaves I haven't raked yet
