Happy Sunday, BikerBabes!

Welcome Nikaia! I think the MSF course is a must if you're gonna ride! I know many chicks who are riding and most of them have taken it. They say it's fun and a wealth of life-saving info....and these gals have much more confidence while riding. It's like learning how to drive a car in driver's ed. You learn things that you never forget, no matter how many years go by. I took a one-day beginner basic course a few months ago and it really made me want to do the whole course whether I decide to get my own bike or not. For now I'm happy riding behind my HH.

Hey Kids! I'm happy to report a TWO Pound Loss of Ugly Fatty Fat Fat this week! YAY! I just love moving that weight tracker in the right direction! Only 56 days 'til we cruise the Caribbean....can I make my goal? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

Last evening HH and I had a wonderul date; we rode up through the Ocala National Forest to a river-side restaurant called the BlackWater Inn. It was about 82 and the breeze was blowing across the St. John's River from the coast. It was glorious! I stayed on-plan with a grilled chix sandwich minus the mayo and half the bread + a side salad w/ italian on the side. Then there were those 2 vodka's ( I love having a DD for these rides!!) but I still was waaaaaaay within my total points for the day. What's not to love about a plan that lets you eat anything you want within reason? It's the food journaling, Girls. It's keepin' my a@@ on track. It's a job, but I found an online food journal that makes it a little more fun. You can find it at "journaltosuccess.com" if you're interested!

Have a wonderful Sunday, Chicks....and be careful out there!

Congrats Jill! You are kicking some serious weight loss behind. Your dinner date sounds fantastic.

Reb I hope your weekend was great and the wedding was everything it should have been.

Gina hope you enjoyed Jackie!

Nikaia I would recommend the class to anyone even some who has riding a while. I took it years ago before it was the thing to do. I just saw a big write up in the local paper a few weeks back that was trying to make motorcycles look like inexperienced idiots on the road. I say what a bunch of hog wash. Over 80 percent of the folks that we ride with have had some sort of formal training to learn to ride. The more we can make those ignorant motorcycle hating folks look bad the better. I say yes go take the course and you won’t regret it for sure.

My DH is doing OK. He had to travel to Portland this week for work. He had emergency laser surgery on his eye on Friday and he had an experimental treatment done to stop the bleeding out. He was got a shot direct in the eye of chemo. He has had it before and it helped so hopefully it will help again. He is going to have surgery done on October 5th. They will removed his eye and then hopefully fix what is going on that put it back. He as to have an EKG and full examine before surgery. I am worried but hopeful that things will go OK in the next couple of weeks. I will keep you all posted.

Have a great Monday everyone and Keep on Keep'n on Chicks! Hello to everyone that we haven't heard from in a while.

Way to go FL!

I just finished the MSF class and it is incredible. It will be a lifesaver on the streets for sure. They teach you all kinds of ways to avoid problems and you practice it- so when you are on the streets and someone pulls out in front of you you do not even have to think- you know HOW to swerve and brake (separate actions *GRIN*)

I rode dirt for years a while back so the motorcycle felt natural and fun. The street smarts they teach are worth triple the price! Street is very different than dirt.

Oh- and the box.... let's just say that practice is on the schedule LOL!

So I totally agree with everyone- the MSF is fantastic!

Hey Chicks!

HarleyMom- My thoughts are with you and your hubby.

Gina- Hope you enjoyed Jackie!

Jill- CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss!!!!!

Nikaia- Welcome!

Well the wedding went smoothly and it was beautiful! We had a great time. I got lots of compliments on the dress. I was so glad that it looked ok. My new SIL's dress was gorgeous!!!!!!! It was white, full skirt, long train and trimmed with a deep red. They had a mix of red and pink daisies. It was absolutely lovely!

On an icky note, I got really sick Sunday night with chest pains and problems swallowing. I went to the ER and they did an EKG and chest X-Ray and all looked good. Basically the Dr said that it's Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease , so I have to take medication and REALLY change my diet. No fats, fried food, no caffeine, spicy, tomato, alcohol, citrus, any of that. They said that I may be able to eat some of that, but that I will learn from trial and error what makes me sick. Honestly, as bad as this feels...I can avoid those foods just fine.

Reb I work with a gal who thought she was having a heart attack last year and it was the same thing you have. It is best to aviod those foods. She told me it felt like an elephant was on her chest. Not good. I am glad you enjoyed the wedding and it sounds lovely.

I am not loosing weight now for 12 weeks. It has been up down 2 to 3 lbs. I am sick of this. It is time to loose this 20 lbs. I am going to get serious about it. I may need to change some things up. Any how that is my rant for today.

Take care all! Keep on Keep'n on!

Hey biker babes. Have fantastic weekend. It is suppose to be over 80 degrees here this weekend. Yippee. We are having an end of summer gathering on Saturday. Should be fun. I am also going homecoming dress shopping with my twins on Saturday, hopefully it will be good and not end with one of us fighting.

Keep on Keep'n on Chicks and have a great one!

Hey BikerChickies!

Happy Saturday! It's cooling off a little here in Central Florida, so the riding is fantastic! Last night we rode over to a lakeside biker place that's only about 10 miles from the house. The sunset over the water was awesome and there was a little gator begging for food in the water right below our table (Those silly Snowbirds think it's cute to feed him so he knows right where to stay!) Anyway....I stayed on plan and feel great about it. I will weigh in tomorrow or Monday. Tonight we'll ride to our favorite karaoke bar to have some good laughs. It's a spot buried up in the Ocala National Forest that NO ONE would ever find on their own. The scrub-dwellers go there and it's hysterical. Some of these folks don't even have cars or teeth, but they have enough cash for beer. You get the picture!!

Sounds like ya'll have some fun things planned for the weekend....Harley, have fun shopping w/ your twins...and Gina, don't trip on your dress SIZE 8......WOW!

Reb....glad they figured out what your problem was last Sunday. Hope it didn't put a damper on your wedding weekend. The only prescription I take is a generic version on Prilosec every day and it sure does work keeping that heartburn crap at bay. I'm hoping I won't need it as I lose more of this fatty fat fat.

Have a great weekend, Girls....and be safe!

Default Weighing In with my BikerBuds

Well, Chicks...no loss this week for me... but I made a huge pot of Zero Point Soup and that will be my mainstay until I can move my weight-tracker down a bit.

Hope everyone had a fabulous, SAFE weekend!
