good morning!

wannabsexy, cool! tell us what you're getting!

Jill, LOL, did your daughter really hang up on you? but oh man, 78 and sunny...mmmm! and CONGRATS on moving down!!!!!!!!! and with doing the Pilates each day. but yes, take a day's break if you're sore.

Harleymom, hang in there! but jeez, that IS cold. We got down to 6 degrees the other night, brrr. But it's 'warmed up' (to 33!)

2frust, yay for the new bike!!! It's quite interesting, the difference between the US and the UK, in relation to getting new bikes. I would hate to have the govt. tell me that I couldn't get the size bike I wanted, but there are so many fools here (middle-aged men mostly) that get a big cc bike as their first, then crash it. And your mandatory training is so sensible.

Gina, heehee, well, 'cold' is relative, isn't it. Did you ever locate your second bedroom? and isn't that manicotti g-o-o-d?

Rebel, hi! how YOU doin'

Hi Kathy! true dat on the smaller plates. I also need tiny little forks, too, I think

Our Raffle dinner is today. I'm glad I can get all this sweet stuff out of the house! I made a total of almost 300 portions. I admit I did a lot of tasting. I hope we have a big turnout, at least the weather is cooperating with no snow forecast for tonight.

good news - I can feel some emerging muscle in my arms and core, from doing my step aerobics tape daily with hand held weights. Just have to work off the flab that covering them. Still confident I'll get it done though the scale hasn't moved down. How could it, with me tasting my sugary stuff all the time.

bye for now, chicks!

Happy Saturday, Chickies!

Yes, Wannabsexy...tell us what you're getting! We want pictures of your new baby and of 2Fru's new baby too! Oh Man....Ice Storms. I just hate ice. Scares me to death. (Unless it's in my cocktail! ) Hope you don't have to go anywhere until it's gone.

Just finished our Pilates for the morning....I can already feel my core muscles tightning....and usually after I really keep with it...I can actually SEE the difference after only about 20 days. C'mon 20 days! I'm also using the smaller plates, but it didn't hep much last night. I'm with you, Holly on the teeny little forks. Maybe we can patent that idea.

Yes...DD did hang up....and called back laughing. She's the best. Believe it or not, I was born and raised here in the Sunshine State....but moved to Cincinnati, Ohio when I was 30 and met my HH there. He's a born & raised Cincinnatian. Now he's a "recovering" Cincinnatian. I was sure happy to get back down here. I grew up in South Florida tho. Boy was it fun around here on Monday night when the Gators whipped the Buckeye's a$$es! I'm not allowed to say "Go Gators!" one more time!

Today is our monthly HOG meeting at our fabulous dealership. I will go, but not for the food. Too tempting. I have a really cool leather vest that I want to have an equally cool patch put on, so that's my goal. The "leather lady" will be there with her huge sewing machine. I also hope my new jacket that matches my Christmas gloves will be in. BUT: If if doesn't cool down more this winter, I won't be able to wear it!!!! 79 will be our high today....about 10 degrees warmer than it's supposed to be this time of year.

Hey! Good Luck on the Raffel today, Holly! Your hard work is about to turn into FUN! GO 142! GO 142!!

Have fun this weekend, everyone...no matter where you are and stay warm!

I am getting a 97 Yamaha Virago XV750. She has 11K miles on her, red and burgandy with lots of chrome. Just click on the link and you can see her picture, isn't she gorgeous.

flsunbakd we don't have to go anywhere. Got all my groceries rented some movies, and got extra firewood before everything even moved in. I can be a smart women at times.

That is one SWEET ride, Wannab! Bet you just can't wait to bring her home. Hope the weather will be good by then so you get out there a little!

Glad to hear you have all your provisions on hand....it sounds like it will turn out to be a fun weekend for you despite the ice.

Hey ladies!!

Good grief it's seems like forever since I checked in! I'm so glad that you are all doing well.

HarleyMom- I was wondering how you were doing with the storms and all. Sounds like a total mess out there. Western Ks was hit pretty hard. I live in the south central part of the state and we did get some ice and snow this past weekend. Nothing horrid.

Holly- Have fun and good luck at the raffle. Hey, you can't serve goodies to people without having a little taste test... at least that's my thinking...

Jill-What did you think of American Idol last night? Oh my! Earplugs and chuckbuckets were totally in need!

Gina- As usual you are kicking butt with the workouts! Good job, girl!

2Frus- Sweeet bike.

Wannab- Yet another sweet ride!

I am doing pretty good on my plan, still. I did flub this weekend, though. I got back to it and I do think that's alot of the battle. I weigh on Saturday, so hopefully the scale will be kind...

Take Care, babes!

WOW! Mr Bikey is spanking clean and shiney! I took one look underneath and you could eat your dinner off the exhaust and engine! There was a tiny teeny smidge of rust on one pipe but that's it! It's 8 years old and has 24,500 on the clock. It's got heated grips and a tall windscreen on it, it also comes with the original screen. The panniers don't look as though they've been used - I will be able to fit all my kickboxing cwap in there - it's got a Givi rack for a top box, which I think I will invest in (a big one for 2 lids) the engine runs sweeeeeeeeeeeeet and although I didn't take it for a test ride (already been on my Rebel for 2 hours in the dark and unfamiliar country roads so didn't want to risk smashing up new bike!) I put a deposit down on it! I'm part-exing my Rebel, He's giving me £700 for it, which is half what I paid a couple of years ago, but it's in a far worse condition (and 18,000 more miles on the clock!) than it was when I bought it! So I think I got quite a deal

I'm super-excited Dad is coming down the weekend after next to come and see it and help pick it up (we'll take my Rebel down in the car, then I'll ride the Deauville back again).

Oh and the colour - it's not just black like you see in the pics, it's actually a really dark metallic purple. They call it "dark tulip" or black tulip or something like that - it's definitely that tulip colour. I was going to spray it pink, but it's such a nice colour and in a lovely condition that I think it would be sacrilige!

Frus is a happy bunny (apart from the fact I only lost 1/4lb this week )

2 Frus How exciting. Everyone loves to get new toys. It looks like a great one! I love that you can haul all your things on it. My DH is great like that it is nice to be able to just stick the helmets in the trunk and go. I hate carry those things around, but at 700.00 dollars a peice you just don't leave them out.

Reb good to here from you. Don't beat yourself up for one flub. Just keep going forward, sounds like your trying.

Jill keep up the work outs you'll see results.

Gina good on you for working so hard and staying on track with your work outs.

Wannabe nice bike. Hope you get to ride it soon. It wouldn't be happen here. Snow is piled to over my head in certian areas. Cold also so it is not melting very fast. Lots of ice on the roads. Not real good for motorcycle if you know what I mean.

Holly I hope your event was a blast. I here your weather has been very mild. Get some riding in for me.

Lost 1 lb last week. Maybe better this week. I need to get back to the work outs. I have been super lazy.

Take care Chicks and Keep on Keep'n on!

Ok - Tuesday night's Idol....the chick with the gold shirt and scary hair....is it too much to ask that she buy a bra? Totally beside the point that she can't sing....Mom looked better than she did. I do admire her confidence tho.... [/rant]

On to a positive attitude - I'm s'posed to be working so i'll keep this short.

TGIF!!!!

I have a going away party for a coworker tonight, and a graduation party tomorrow...acckkk..wish me luck. I'll be filling up on salad and broccoli soup before.

The weather is warming up - I should get some bike and scooter riding in this weekend.

Hmm...work is calling - I'll post more later.

Hey all. What a weekend. More SNOW. I am sick and tried of this. I am a native of Colorado and this is by far the worst winter I can remember. Normal is snow around 12 hours or less, next day 60 degrees melt everything. This year snow, never getting above 30 degrees all week, snow some more. This has been the pattern before Christmas. It looks really nasty too. Snow with dirt incased ice everywhere. The roads are so bad that they have ruts running down them in ice. What the heck? At this rate no motorcycle riding until spring. What a drag.

Sounds like you all have been busy. I watch Idol too. The first couple of weeks are so stupid. People crack me up. It takes all kinds I guess.

Keep up the good work ladies. Keep on Keep'n on and have a great Monday!
