I am here and can I just tell you I am sick of the snow. I have lived in Colorado all my life and don't ever remember a winter like this. We had almost 3 feet of snow on December 20th and was still digging out on the 23rd. Snowed again on Friday the 29th about 12 inches added to the 26 inches or more. Then on Janaury 5th it snowed another 6 inches or so. I am so sick of shovling snow. We are expecting more snow on Thursday or Friday this week. They aren't saying how much at this time.

Diet what diet???? I have been so stressed out I can not even tell you all. It is time to lose the rest of the weight though. I am tried of it.

Hey everyone that has checked in after not being around for awhile. Kathy, Tiff, welcome Sabrina. Reb congrats on the loss! You go girl. Jill you can do this we both can! Gina love the new oatmeal on the market for weight loss. It is very tasty and high in fiber and portien. Glad you didn't gain a bunch on vacation. Holly fun stuff for Christmas. Hope you got you new thing installed on the bike. 2 frus new bike fun, fun, fun!

It is back to work for me after having 13 days off with this stupid snow. Take care all you hot biker babes and Keep on Keep'n on!

Reb - Holy cow!! congrats!! keep it goin' girl!!

Harleymom, so good to hear from you! I have, of course, thought of you each time we heard that Colorado got slammed with snow. You must be so sick of it.

We on the NE side, as you've heard, are having "the winter that wasn't". I personally am GLAD not to shovel nor drive in snow, but our local ski-industry is suffering big time. That flows over into lodging, restaurants; and all those employees. I'm not affected but I feel bad for those who are.

Jill - that is so nice that you and the hubster have a daily 'date' to workout together!!

My husband found a present he meant to give to me at Christmas, the DVD "The World's Fastest Indian". Can't wait for a free evening to watch it!

We have a big gig this Saturday - it's our yearly Harley Raffle Dinner/Dance. Hus and I cater the dinner (chicken n biscuits, green salad and dessert for 250+) Thank goodness I don't have to bake the biscuits - we're ordering them from a local supermarket that makes them quite well, thank you

We did it for the first time last year, and it was a big challenge, 'cause the location it was held at was about 45 miles from here, and the kitchen had NO utenisls or cooking items! we had to either prepare everything here and truck it there, or truck all our cooking equipment there. Thank goodness that this year, it's being held just 9 miles from here, with a full kitchen. A big difference

I will surely let you know if we win the Harley an '06 1200 Custom. Yum yum!!!! think positive thoughts on the number 142, that's the number we chose.

I'm feeling hungry so I think I'll do the dishes, then eat some carrots

Hi Everyone!

Guess What.....2 days of Pilates IN A ROW! Yea me ~~ HH & I are on a ROLL!

Harley....I know you're sick to death of the cold and snow....come visit me!! We own a cute little guest house right next door for winter-weary visitors!

Holly....your coming weekend sounds like a ton of fun....hope the weather holds out for you since it's been such a mild winter in your neck of the woods. It sure will be easier with the new location...so it will probably be much more enjoyable for you to prepare. Maybe more time to party! I'll keep my fingers crossed for 142!! Is it a coincidence that 142 is your goal weight????

Have a great day, ya'll ~~ Stay warm, dry and SAFE!

Hi Chicks. Holly your Dinner/Dance sounds like fun. We have the big, and I mean big Colorado Bike and Swap coming January 27th and 28th. They do it right after the stock show ends in the same building. It always smells like live stock in those buildings. That is the big event for the month. No riding in this ice packed city right now. We must be getting all the bad weather for the USA this year. The invite to Florida is very tempting at this point. My sister lives in Arizona and she told me to come see her. The problem is getting out of here is nearly impossiable.

I am going to weigh in for the first time in 3 weeks tonight. I am not excited about getting the scale at this point. It is been a very hectic crazy off plan 3 weeks. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Take care all and Keep on Keep'n on!

Hey Harley! How'd your weigh-in go? I'm gonna wait a few more days to weigh...I've been really trying to be good, but I COULD be a teeny bit better

Made some of those oatmeal pumpkin muffins today, but instead of the fruit cocktail or peaches, I threw in raisins and walnuts. A little more cinnamon next time and they'll be perfect.

And the best news of all ~~~~~ TA DAAAAAAAH! HH and I have done Pilates 3 whole days in a row! That's a major accomplishment for us!

Have a nice eve, ya'll!

Up one pound. I will take it and not complain too much. I am back on track and staying on plan.

Jill sounds like your doing great! Keep it up.

Another cold snap is headed here. Not suppose to get much snow, I'll let you know how that turns out.

Hey everyone keep up the good work! Keep on Keep'n on and have a great day!

Howdy biker chickies!

Harley - up 1 pound ain't too shabby for all the stress you've been under. I hope the snow lets up for ya! We are having a bit of a cold snap over here, too. Well...it feels cold to us California weenies.

Jill - You go, pilates queen!!!! Keep up the good work!

Holly - fingers and toes crossed for 142!! Sounds like a fun weekend!

No big plans for this long weekend....well...maybe try to rediscover the second bedroom. It has this annoying habit of being the catch all for junk.... how does that happen? If it isn't raining some more bike rides....if it warms up a bit a scooter ride.

Hello chicks! Harleymom, i agree that up one pound ain't that bad for all that stress! good for you!

Yes, 142 is special to me, I was 42 years old when I lost my big amount of weight, was 42 when I learned to RIDE and 142 was the lowest I was able to get down to.

I just had a Healthy Choice frozen meal, it was 2 manicotti and some broccoli, and it was good!!! I could go for two more Honestly, portion control is so hard for me. Having a meal like that makes it easier. Now just to stop sampling the darn desserts I've been cranking out for the past few days.

hugs to everyone!!

Hey Chicks!

I still haven't started exercising, I'm having a hard time getting into the swing of things. It's weird to get back to normal again when I've haven't done much of anything lately. I get off work at 4:30 and I'm home by 4:45 so I have plenty of time to work out, but I haven't got my head there yet.

I have started to journal my food and I'm eating much better. I just need to get my butt in gear .

Everyone looks like they are doing great . I'm with you vermontmom, I have a hard time with portion control too and I have to remind myself that I can eat again in a few hours. I have special plates that I use that are smaller than normal, and they help with keeping the portions down.

Keep it up the losing everyone!

Kathy

Oh I'm so sleepy - DH had me do an exercise video with him on Tuesday, that was on top of my weight lifting at the gym and then an hour of kickboxing I haven't really caught up on recovery since then - I'm usually able to get throught the whole week doing all my workouts, but I'll have to miss my run tonight in favour of a nice nap.

Just 2 weeks till new bike

TGIF!!!!!!

And a long weekend, too! It's freaking cold over here....everyone is at Home Depot buying stuff to wrap their water pipes...

Kathy - take it easy on yourself with the workouts at first....maybe just start with 15 minutes a day and work your way up. The point being to just make a habit of it. You'll be addicted in no time!

Holly - too funny...I went to the freezer this morning and guess what the choice was? Healthy Choice was on sale for us, too...same flavor, even.

2Frus - I have the same problem with DH...when I bring him along he sometimes doesn't "get it" that I don't have as much energy after a 45 minute spin class. enjoy your nap...which you are prolly taking about now.

Have a great weekend everyone!!! Happy MLK Day!

Nice to here from everybody. It is so cold here today low -1 degress today. High of 5 degress. COLD! We got a small dusting of snow last night. I was able to clear it out of the drive way and walks in about 10 min. So that is the good news. It sounds like Vegas is getting a cold blast there. My Co worker went there this weekend. So she went from zero degress to 20 something. What a drag! Sunny Californa isn't sounding too sunny either.

2 Frus 2 weeks and counting for the new bike for you. I bet you can hardly wait! Sounds like your adjusting to the married life.

Kathy hang in there. Just don't give up with the excer. Take it slow and easy.

Holly good luck with the party this weekend!

Someone ride for me this weekend! Take care all and Keep on Keep'n on!

Hi Chickies!

Great to see all ya'll!

Harley....my DD called from NW Wyoming this morning where the snow is flying at about 40-50 mph, the air temp is -5 and it's a windchill of 35 below. I told her it's sunny and 78 here today and she hung up on me! LOLOLOL Needless to say, my precious grandbabies won't get to go to the park today!!

Didn't get our Pilates in today....we were too sore! But tomorrow is another day and we'll get back on it. We've been really good!

Hey2Frus! WOW 2 weeks! Picture of your new baby????

HH has to work this weekend, but we'll be headed out for a ride here in a few minutes....then I'll be going solo to the monthly HOG meeting tomorrow.

Oh! Almost forgot to tell you guys....I lost 2 so I got to move my weight tracker a little. YAY!

Happy THREE DAY weekend!!!!! Gosh...I can SO remember how I just couldn't wait to have those!

We aren't nearly as cold as harleymom but we have an ice storm going on. No snow literally just ice. We have gone from freezing rain to ice pellets. They are calling for 1-2 inches of ice on the ground and possible power outages. My office closed at noon today. Boy this is almost like a 3 day weekend now.

And by the way it looks like and keep fingers crossed that by this time next week I will have my first bike. hehe
