Hi guys. I lost my pound I gained last week! YEAH! It looks like everyone is doing well here.

My cleaning lady came over this morning before I left for work and she hadn't seen me for months. She was shocked. We had a nice conversation. She's a nice lady. She watches my boys when I go away.

I got a new low carb cookbook put out by the Eades. I made a hot chocolate recipe from there tonight and man is it rich!! This stuff should probably be served in demitasse cups. It's a bit labor intensive but is a nice treat or would be nice for company. If you want me to post the recipe I will. There are several interesting recipes in here I'm anxious to try out. They use celery root as their substitute potato. I couldn't find any celery root tonight at the grocery store.

Speaking of which. I almost had a stroke tonight in the Giant! You know I complained that the Wegman's no longer carries my 2% Carb Countdown so I went to Giant and was happily shopping along until I got to the dairy department. The whole reason I was in that store was to get my Carb Countdown milk. I get to the dairy department and they have about 3 kinds of soy milk and 4 kinds of organic milk and NO CARB COUNTDOWN MILK!!!!! I could just feel my blood pressure go through the roof. I ended up going to Wegman's and getting the Fat Free Carb Countdown but I put a comment in their customer comment box about how the low carb items are disappearing from their shelves. I feel like they are trying to starve us to death! I'll soon have to do the bulk of my grocery shopping on line.

Heya Curly Here's this PIC lol.

Just got in from a helladay at work, then I almost decided to skip the gym but I told myself that I DO NOT want to start that habit so I went. LOL I walked in and the place was empty!! NOt a soul there. So I started on the ellipticaland the worker popped outta the potty So I really wasn't in the twilight zone. Did 25 min cardio then worked circuit on the lowers.

Dinner is about done (oven baked fish and broccoli (fried potatos for Lee and brown rice for me).... so i'll come back and post again later. Hope you're all having a wonderful Friday night!!!

Hi everyone,

Well I was over on my calories again today. It's my TOM & I feel all bloated and fat. I had leftover pizza and ate it. At least I went to curves. I had one of those days I just wanted to stay in bed!

Dee good job on working out. It's not a good idea to get in the habit of skipping. I know thats why I made myself go to curves today cramps and all.

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all make it over to the new server soon!

I'm not going to even post my menu for today. I did go out for a healthy dinner of sushi & miso soup But I was snacking crazy again today. I don't know why I always get this way at my TOM. I'll do better tomorrow. I think I'm just going to post my calories from now on. You all have a pretty good idea of what I'm eating at this point.

Fitday is saying I'm burning about 2500 calories a day plus 300-500 a day for exercise. I'm not sure if I trust it but even when I eat around 2000 calories it says I'm at a deficit still .

Hey PIC's ...Good Morning!

You and me Val....I have TOM also, (anyone want him next? ) and I hear ya on the snacking!! I don't know whats going on.....yesterday I was bored and snacking too much....so I went to Kohl's for their 80% off clearance. I found some ADORABLE skirts and tops ranging from $2.00 -$5.00. I had a blast trying on some 14's !!! woohooo.....can't believe it anyways, I came home and promptly had a candy bar. Old habits die hard....I guess I thought that I had 'earned' it somehow. Now that made me mad.!!! I journaled it but it really pissed me off. I had gone to the gym and worked damn hard on the treadmill for a 760 calorie burn just to throw it away with a 300 calorie choc. bar!!! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT!!! I still evened out with 1547 calories for the day, but?? TODAY IS A NEW DAY....and I'm feeling better. Just moving on to a better frame of mind. Sometimes I can justify almost anything. Today I'm wearing a really nice sweater that I'm embarrassed to say I've never even worn. I bought it about 5 years ago.....and it never fit...BUT IT DOES NOW!!! So thats my reminder today to eat OP and to think positive thoughts.

I missed you all sooo much.

It isn't my TOM, but I haven't been the best little girl here lately. I am renewing my commitment though.

I bought my first fitness/nutrition book. The body for life for women very interesting.

I am lost on the days that I don't go to the fitness center on campus. So I've decided to set the alarm a little earlier on these days and do my watp's first thing in the am. That way I start my day off right.

Well time to study and do stuff around the house.

I guess we all survived the server move.

Charlie-I have no suggestions for you. I have been a huge fan of New Orleans but obviously that's out for now. I don't know what to tell you. Congrats on meeting your Valentine's goal.

Even I went to the gym today. I probably did a couple things my physical therapist wouldn't have liked but I wanted to see what I could handle. I don't think I did any damage. I'm up to 15 minutes on the bike but I think I could probably handle more. I also think this will be my last week of physical therapy. I'm back to all my usual activities, it's just the gym where I'm limited and I think I can figure out what I can and can't do for the most part.

I made a coffee cake recipe out of my new cookbook yesterday and it is really good. I'd give it an A-. For those of you new to this thread, I have a grading system for recipes. To get an A+ I have to not be able to tell the difference between this and the real thing so this one was pretty darn close. In fact, so good I had a little too much yesterday. These recipes are sort of a lot of work but they do taste good. Because they are a lot of work, I probably wouldn't make them very often which is good but they would be great fake outs for company (except my Dad because they are full of nuts and nut products).

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all having a good day! The sun is shining here! I just got back from Bally's which I really enjoyed. I love their cardio machines but the guys there are pigs! This guy next to me was dripping so much sweat the floor around us looked like it was raining. Then he left the machine all wet *yuck* then a guy next to me was singing really loudly with his CD player & somone left dirty tissues in the storage area on the treadmill I was using!

Tomorrow is my weigh in day and I hope I do well. I'm still feeling so bloated and fat!

Charlie I wish I could help you but I'm not at all familar with the area.

Gwena you're doing great with the exercising! It gets addicting doesn't it?

Petra, Dee, Zoey, Curly, Angel Eyes & everyone else have a great day!

Wow Curly! I work out there for 45 minutes. When I put in circuit training at fitday I end up with around 300 calories burned!
