hehe....Curly....you come up with the neatest stuff!!! That bodyworks site is really neat. Thanks!

Today was "D" day girls....D for DENTIST!!! I was supposed to go in and have my permanent crowns put on but with the amount of pain I had been having, she said she wan'ted me to see on a specialist. So off I go.....as wouldn't you know it...he could see me right away!!! So 9 needles later.....and a shocker of two hitting the nerve.....I am the proud (but sore) owner of a brand new root canal!!! HOLY COW!!! Apparently, all the work she did 2 weeks ago, was too much for the nerve to handle and the root started to die. Now that explains all the pain!!!

be very careful angel that u dont have infection packed in there!! that happened to me and they had to drill a hole thru my cheekbone to get it out after months of antibiotics.... NOW U SEE WHY I HATE THE DENTIST??????

when they got done my entire face was black and blue .. then when i finally worked up the nerve to go back to the dentist for a cleaning he said "YOU NEED 3 MORE ROOT CANALS"

AND I SAID OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I DONT!!!! I was 43 at the time i said i only need these teeth for @ 25 more years I have made it 43 with them so if its all the same to you Mr. dentist.......

I WILL TAKE MY CHANCES AND JUST BE CAREFUL WITH MY TEETH SEE YA LATER... (MUCH LATER LIKE NEVER!!!!)
lmao

Smile Lots of Losers!

Mornin" PICs,

We have a lot of losers in this bunch!

I have not fallen off of the edge of the world, but I have been busy. My sister from SD is here for a visit [a *very* good thing ],and I have had to deal with my Visa number getting hacked [bad thing ], but Visa was on the ball and caught it early.

I continue to enjoy Sonoma and find that I am cooking a lot more than I was. I got lazy after we retired. I have found a lot of recipes to try and DH seems to be fine with it. My sis seems to be enjoying it too.

We have been looking after a neighbor this week whose husband is in the hospital. She has early Alzheimers and needs help, so I have been sending meals to her. She doesn't know it but she is eating Mediterranean too!

My weight loss continues to be slow, but that is OK. I am getting there and my clothes are fitting better, so I will just keep plugging along.

Hey Girls,

I'm seem to be finding less and less time for my computer these days lol. OMG I can still remember the 16-18 hour chat days!!!! I can't believe life was really ever like that. But I digress.... lol.

I think I've actually lost my WW points book, so at this point I'm totally journaling, and really watching portions and eating a lot of things as I have been the last few weeks. I was another pound down last nite at my meeting. I'm happy with that. Heck, it's the first time since I started WW that I've had a loss 2 weeks in a row. AND I know I have to be gaining something in the muscle dept too!

Today:
B~ apple, 1 oz lf string cheese
L~ 3 oz baked chicken breast, 1 oz string cheese
S~ 1 "fingerful" peanut butter, 2 Ritz WW crackers
D~ 1/5 recipe Bisquick impossible cheeseburger pie, cooked carrots & snow peas, 1/2 slice WW bread w/smidge Earth Balance
S~ I dunno yet... SF pudding or NSA Ice cream bar or sf/ff yogurt

Exercise:
35 min straight of Cardio
25 min upper body Circuit

AngelEyes~ I sure hope you're feeling much better today.

Val~ I googled the website for the whey cool. They actually have outlets in Chicago. Check it out. I've also Emailed them to see if I can find out ingredients and if they're all good, I want to try to bring it into the store! It sounds absolutely yumcious!

Zoey~ Nice to seeya! Keep pluggin along GF! You know what they say- Slow and Steady wins the race.

Allayaallelse~ Hope you're all doin' great!

P.S I hope it's not too tacky, but I'm adjusting my slimdown ticker. I realize that my goal was completely unattainable and I'm giving myself something reasonable to shoot for. I was just stressing looking at it the way it was.

I'm here.....just kinda feeling yucky. No major pain today (thank god) but just an ache from where all the needles went. I did manage to workout today, so thats good. But I didn't get much of anything else done. I made this awesome chili that is pretty good calorie-wise/carb to protein ratio.....the boys loved it and it was a nice change. The tortilla chips that went with it were awesome....I haven't had those in about 4 months!!! Good to know that I met the 7 chip limit and stopped, could have done alot of damage. I think I'm going to take a med and have a nice early night, and hopefully some good sleep. tc

Val.. u have to try the pita pizza.. just use a whole wheat pita for your crust.. then add your sauce on top and then your toppings... its really quick then u can just pop it in your toaster oven.. ya get the pizza effect and taste..

I had to find a way to re-invent my pizza cuz i knew i couldnt live without it!!

Curly thanks for the advice. I didn't feel up to cooking and cleaning last night and thats why I got the pizza. It's still my lazy day fall back.

I had talked to my doctor yesterday about my diabetes. She she hasn't gotten the blood results back yet but said I was doing well. I told her that when I take my metformin at 7am with a zone bar I'm waking up a couple hours later in a cold sweat. She said I might be having a low blood sugar reaction and to eat more with the pill. This is bad for me because I tend to eat a lot of small meals/snacks all day at around 200 calories. So I had a slice of pizza with my zone bar this morning & still got the sweats. I wake up feeling freezing, nausous & dizzy. It's no fun. I dont' know if it's the diabetes or something else but I wish it would stop!
