Petra - I'm glad to hear that your back to your usual activities.

Val - I am addicted to exercising. I feel that I'm going back to the real me. I was an athlete when I was younger, and I've come to the realization that I don't accept that I was at my best fitness level as a teenager... I can be even fitter as an adult.

Charlie - How about Indy or St. Louis?

Angel - It sounds like you had fun shopping. I can't wait to have one of those days.

Well I'm going to go set my alarm for an hour earlier tomorrow and then climb in bed with a good book. (and two big dogs)

Hi PIC's,

It's great to be back up again. Last night was kinda weird without you

Yesterday was a good day. I ate well, and did 30 min hard cardio followed by 40 min working upper and abs. I really like that gym on the weekends lol. It was pretty empty again so no waiting for anything! the owner was there and greeted me by name!!!! It blows me away. The last time I was a gym member it was a 24 hr fitness in Seattle and always soooo many people that nobody knew me (except my personal trainer, who btw, always said hi Dee- until I couldn't afford him anymore, then he forgot to even look at me lol. Maybe it's worth $50 month to feel important... hmmmmmmmm

So today was a lil bitta dissapointment. I was hoping to see the Hawks pull out a win, but hey.... whatever huh? As a longtime fan (even in the REALLY sucky days) I'm proud of what they accomplished.... and, just look out next year heheheheee. OK, Down to business~ My food wasn't great, though it could have been so much worse. I had NO chips today!!! YAYYYYYY. I did do some salame and cheese and crackers, and Zen Party Mix. (nuts, rice crackers and spices)... and a grilled RB/cheese/tomato sandwich with a small amount of fries and some string beans.
I didn't go to the gym today. But I had planned the day off.
Tomorrow is a new day and I'll get right back on track!!!!!! Wed is my next meeting and I'll be getting a new points book so I can figure and post my points again. YAYYYYY.

Petra~ It's nice to hear you're getting back up to par! Don't tick your PT off tho lol.... he/she might work you harder hehehehe... If your coffeecake got an A-, it's probably too dangerous for me to attempt to have in the house just yet lol. It's wonderful you found something you can enjoy, and in moderation

Val~ I'm with you. Cardio is my favorite too. LOL, but I'm the sweat queen!!!! Altho I don't drip! I use my towel And I do wipe my equipment down when I'm done. I'm rootin' for ya gf. Those snack cravings can get sooooo bad when tom is around. grrrrrrrrr. Just get right back on track and you'll feel so much better.

Charlie~ Wish I had some suggestions for you. whatever you do, I'll bet you'll have a great time just relaxing.

AngelEyes~ Wow you are the shopping queen lmao!!!! I never find the bargains like you do! Then again... I don't get to go shopping all that much either lol. I'm gonna use some of my shopping money to pay for some more gym time.. shhhhhhh I haven't told Lee yet
Heck, I don't wanna buy new clothes yet! Congrats on the 14's and may you work your way into some 12's real soon

Gwena~ LOL I was an athlete in school too. I think about those days and ya know, I was fit. never smoked then, spent about 5 hours day in the pool. I was Fit, healthy and very solid, but still a size 14 and considered by my peers as fat. Your Key word was FIT. I"ll never be petite. But we can all be healthier. Hope your a.m. workout was a success!!!

Curley~ How ya doin? YOu and Chai still takin the marathon walks??? hehehehe... have a great day!

And Zoey, TLB, MOM, LisaWY, Turtle, Sunshine, and I know I'm leavin people out.......

Someday I'm gonna shock you all by making a tiny little short post, but it didn't happen today lmao.

The girls at my gym.. decided that they wanted to get a team going for the "relay for life" lol they didnt realize it goes from 5 pm to 6 am the next day... so now they have kinda cooled down on the idea... but i told them i was in!

in april i am doing a 5k for Hospice.. i wish chai was more social so i could take him along.. but he tends to be fear aggresive.. he is a chow-spitz mix so he got the guarded personality from both sides!

not much to report here.. i worked saturday most of the day.. and just had a quiet sunday... Got my laundry done this week!!!

charlie: ive been to the mall of america.. its sooo huge!!! i think now in st paul they are having the winter carnival and they build an entire city in ice.. but i heard on the news they were having a lot of trouble cuz the temps have been so high... MN is really beautiful ...i dont imagine that i will ever go back again that chapter of my life is all over with... lol

have a great OP day everyone!!

Good Morning Pic's!!!

Weigh in today was a maintain, but thats okay by me!!! I can def. see the difference and its also showing in the clothes. I was talking to an old girlfriend yesterday and she got me in a 'challenge' with her. Actually dh overheard and he wants in on it also! She's coming for Easter and we set a goal of losing 12-14 lbs by then. wooohoooo, she's recently lost about 35 lbs and wants to lose a little more so its the perfect situation....WINNER GETS A NEW PAIR OF SHOES!!! hehe, sounds like a done deal for me!!!

Dh left this morning for California.....nice eh? 4 fun in the sun fab days. THis is one of his major conferences and I would be very surprized if he even see's the light of day!!!

Curly....good luck with your 5K. Dh and I are also doing one on April 8th!! I would have NEVER thought I could do one before.

Iwmonn.....good job on the super workout!! Don't you love it when there is no waiting? woohooo

Valerie....EWWW, GROSS....guys who sweat!!! yuck Good luck with your weighin

Petra.....your coffee cake sounds delish. You're right....it is good to have a good 'foolers' up your sleeve!!

Charlie.....ohhh, a nice romantic getaway, how many years will you be celebrating? Hope you find a great place. What about trying 'google'?

Hi everyone. I just had my weekly weigh in and I didn't loose any weight. I'm kind of dissapointed but hopefully I'll loose some next week.

E gads.... that chai is just tooo dang smart! I had to give my mom a ride to work at 5:30 this morning.. I get up put on my sweats .. shoes... grab a jacket.. and the " Wild- jumping -happy -dance"( those of u with dogs know exactly what i mean) starts... shhhhhh he thinks we are going walking...

And also if u are a dog owner... u know while doing the jumping happy dance.... they can not hear anything you are saying to them.... "No chai.. i have to go get Mom" yikes more excitement.. chai is thinking MOM WOOOHOOO .. MY GRANDMOM WHO BRINGS ME HOT DOGS!!!! ... so then i get ready to go out the door and he realizes that he isnt going with... grandmom's not here with the hot dogs... and gets this look on his face like WTH??????????? this isnt fair!!!!!

one thing i can say after being a lifetime Lab owner is that at least they will listen to reason......... the chow's dont wanna hear nuttin!!! they just want their way!!!! they are just tooo DEEP!

so what am i doing now?? well getting ready to get my shoes of course and take chai for his walk............ LMAO!

Curly--I can relate to the happy dance. The really funny thing at my house is that when I pick up plastic bags the dance starts. Plastic bags are associated with doggie poop pick up bags apparently, LOL.

My scale seems to be stuck lately but I have been a little sloppy with my carbs lately too. I need to get back to being more disciplined.

Where has TLB been? Haven't seen her for a couple of weeks.
