Kathy Annuities meeting sounds about as much fun as a hemorrhoid to me! Uck! Hope it is better than what it sounds like. Glad you got some activity in while your away.

Denver is expecting snow tonight, of course right at rush hour traffic. We have had a very mild winter though so I don't mind it to much. The wind is blowing like crazy today.

Anyone watch BL last night. I really enjoyed it and sad to see the last espisode for a while. Those couples where really cute and they both did really well on the weight loss. I was really happy to see the red team win the wedding and the blue team the honey moon. At least they didn't walk away empty handed. Just the weight loss was such a reward for both teams.

Reb thanks for letting us know Star is OK. We hope to hear from her soon.

Well Chicks have a great day!

The NBC website only says BL Season 3 is "coming soon"....not soon enough for me... Maybe they will replay last night's show on Bravo or something for Andrea? I don't have cable or I would check for ya.

2fru - the link works today. WOW!!!!!!! I'm glad I tried it again...maybe confetti site was down last night. Anyhoo you will be the most beautiful bride...so happy for you!!! I wish for you all the happiness I have found.

It's getting late - hopefully work will be less hectic tomorrow and I can check in.

Good night chickies!

Phew I'm pooped and the day's not started! Trying to recover from extreme circuits and 40 minutes of back kicks.

Must actually do some work today. In a bit!

Hi Chickies!

Well....it was a HOG kinda weekend at our house! Yesterday was our monthly chapter meeting along with a Kids 'n Cops event at the Dealership. Lots of clowns, balloons and cute, CUTE cops on bikes doing skills stuff. Food was hot dogs and burgers....I had water. Good Girl. Passed on the cake after the meeting too! Then today was a Keynote Ride & Poker Run for a sister chapter, so you know what THAT means when it comes to food & drinks!!! I did pretty good at the buffet....didn't eat the 'tater salad or rolls.....just the meat. 'Course it was a HOG meeting....so no salad or veggies on the menu...LOLOL I over-indulged a bit on the cocktails...had coffee w/ Frangelica and about 6 Jello-shots. No dinner for me tonight! Hope the scales move a bit tomorrow.... I stuck with my Pilates....but missed today.

It's cold here in Central Florida today...tonight will be the coldest we've had in 3 years...in the 30's. Anyway, this morning it was 40 when we started out and it never got past 48 today!!!! I wore 2 long sleeved shirts, a flannel shirt, a jacket AND my leather coat! Plus....2 pairs of sox, long johns, jeans and leather chaps...PLUS 2 pairs of gloves, my earmuffs, a fleece neckwarmer, a scarf and my helmet!!!!!

What's everyone else been up to this fine weekend??

Default Hello!

Hi chicks!!! I'm so sorry I've been gone so long You know I was struggling with stuff. Things are better with husband and I, and I had my dose of antidepressants doubled 'cause I got bad again after Christmas...but I feel so much better now.

So ****-llooo! hi to my previous friends here, and hi to the new! flsunbaked, I'm also going to Myrtle Beach!! gonna ride there, as we did 2 years ago. Hi Andrea!!! Hi Gina, GREAT picture of you, you cutie! Hi 2frust., and Harley Mom and Kathy!

My big biking news is......drumroll.....BOUGHT A NEW ONE! well, a leftover '05, Honda VTX 1300, Bright Metallic Blue Have put $300 down on it, they're keeping it at the stealers until I'm ready to pick it up (maybe late March) and have already over $6000 in savings account to help pay for it, so I'll only have to finance about $2000. I can easily get $2300 for my old bike as a trade-in, but would like to at least try to sell it on our own, hopefully get $3000.

I've already bought better pegs for it, off ebay - they look like they're Kuryakin, and have skulls and are heavy!!! almost 1 1/2 pounds each! and am sourcing next Tourmaster saddlebags, a shield, and of course aftermarker pipes I love the Vance & Hines on my VLX, but at the stealers they recommend Hard Krome. We'll see...

so...I will TRY to get on here more!!!!

Woohoo VermontMom!!! Congrats on the new bike! You'll have to post pics when you bring it home. I'm glad you're feeling ok now.

Ahhh annuities, what fun! It actually wasn't too bad and I learned a lot.

flsunbakd - sounds like you had a fun weekend. Our high for yesterday was also 48 and everyone was walking around in just long sleeve shirts enjoying the warm weather!

I went to the dealership and sat on the new Ninja 650 and fell in love. Of course I won't get one - even though they did tempt me by trying to get me to take a test ride. Just sitting on it makes me want riding season to start NOW!!!!

I managed to get to the gym on Friday, for my 3 mile run, Sat for 45 minutes of the precor, and yesterday for my leg/back day. Tonight I will be at home on my recumbant bike.

Well chicks, I best start my work. Everyone have a great day!

Kathy

Hi Chicks! Hi HOLLY!
So nice to meet you! Congrats on the new bike ....I know you're super-excited about it and it looks like you'll have it in time for Myrtle Beach! YAY! Maybe we'll see each other there! Can't wait to see a pic of it!

I'm so happy....I got to move my weight-tracker by a pound today!!!!! I'm pretty excited since I've been disappointed the last couple of weeks. It's slow....but it's happening, so I'm not complainin'.

For Valentine's Day...I'm going to try a recipe for sugar-free Fudge. I'll let you know how it comes out

Hope ya'll have a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I'm going to try to be my best today. Hubby and I have agreed NOT to exchange candy this year. I broke the rule and got him a few pieces.

So let's start the "what did you do for Valentine's day" posts!

My day started out pretty good this morning. I got into my car for work this morning and there was a card taped to my stereo (lots of good mushy stuff in there). Hubby had put a new Lionel Ritchey (cheesy, but I love Lionel!) CD in the player and set it to play "3 Times a Lady" when I turned the car on. Nothing like crying a little before heading to work!
For him I got 2 valentine plates, napkins, and glasses and some candles. I'm putting them in a basket along with a recipe card for the meal I'll be fixing him and on a night that the kids are at their dad's house I'll make a quiet meal for us.

So what're you doing?

Have a great day everyone!
Kathy

My bike is getting the most valentine's attention this year - an MOT and a new chain! So that's me looked after!

I had a shortbread biscuit cooked in the shape of a heart when I got home last night. He got socks and a big box of chocolates!

Hi Chicks. Wow what a rough few days, sick kids, payroll due yuck!

I had a great valentines before the day. Sunday night we went to a black and white ball. I dressed up in this slinky black outfit with lots of sparkles on the top (and lots of clevage) DH loved it. Also put on white gloves and this white feather over the shoulder shawl type thing. My 15 year old daughter went shopping with me and talked me into buying it, I don't know if I would have had the guts with out her persuading me. Anyhow DH put on black pants and shirt with white tie, yes ladies a tie, and black vest. Really dapper. We had dinner and a dance. I danced a lot and was sore yesterday, but had a blast. DH and I promised not to buy each other any candy. I really don't need a thing right now. My daughter has a concert this evening, she plays the violin. I don't know what her crazy band instructor was thinking when he scheduled a concert on Valentines. Hope you all have a great Valentines day. Kathy your's sounds good already.

Holly it is good to here from you! 2 frus you stay away from that candy! Fl Sun you crack me up 48 degress is almost shorts weather here. I would go without a heavy coat for sure. I know what your saying about those biker events lots of food around, and it ain't low fat either. I try to eat before I go and aviod that stuff at all costs. If we go on a long ride I will bring something to snack on that is healthy.

Well Chicks I have worked out everyday this week hopefully the scales will show it when I go get weighed in at JC tonight. Hope you all have a great day!
