I've been moping but I'm back. Jill, wish I could have said BON VOYAGE to you before you left!! we'll miss ya!

Ladies, I joined Curves today. I hope it's the kick in my uberbutt that I need!! Got weighed and measured. Adjusted my weight tracker to 169, and didn't see the measurements. I'll get weighed and measured again in one month. I feel good about it!

rebel, happy belated 30th!! so nice for your hus to throw you the surprise party.

Hello to everyone else!

Hi Reb & Holly! Thanks for the Bon Voyage! I just wanted to check in one more time...we're leaving here in a little while. Reb...not to worry about just a .5 loss this week....it happens, and at least it's not a gain! Remember that WW is a slow way to go, but one that will let you keep on track for a Lifetime. Holly....yippeeeee to you for joining Curves....you're a better woman than I am...I'd join, but never go!

Well....I'm REALLY outta here! Have a great 11 days, Chicks! I'm gonna need you when I get back...all fat and ready to get back on plan

Hey all, I have been busier than a one legged man in an as* kick'n contest. I lost .5 this week. I'll take it. Had a great weekend. It was cold in the mountains but enjoyed some much needed R&R. It is good to hear from everyone and it is nice to know I am not in this alone. We all fall down but MUST get back up chicks!

Reb 30 is young. Enjoy, you'll find this to be some of the best years of your life. You finally get comfortable with who I am and don't give a cr*p what others think of you.

Good for you Holly! I had a membership to cruves for a year and just stopped going. Why we do those things I am not sure. I like the gym because I can force myself to go with other family members. DH even went with me yesterday. We can do this don't give up!

Jill wow a 10 day cruise I know you won't see this post for a while but I hope it is a great one for you. You go girl!

Gina great to here from you. You always have something really wise and great to say, I love that about you!

Sugyong & JukieF don't give up chicks you can do this!

Wannabsexy you've earned the oh's and ah's keep up the good work!

Well chicks have a great day and Keep on Keep'n on all!

Well I got a kick in the teeth last night. One of our friends mentioned jokingly that my diet wasn't working or some such. I was floored. I don't know if I was more mad or embarrassed, but I didn't eat anything for the rest of the night.

Jeez. And my scale is stuck. It hasn't moved since last weigh in. Maybe I'll sneak up on it in my hubby's clothes (he's 150-something) and see if I can trick it.

On the good side, work is great and the kids are behaving. (Whoa! Did they get a conk on the head?)

Hi ladies!

I just got back from a three-day off-site meeting. It was tricky to stay on my program, but I did. I didn't have a lot of options, but I always managed to find something to eat. And it paid off. I dropped two pounds in the three days I was gone and ended my plateau! It used to be that going to an event like that would have been my demise; I would have had trouble turning down all that yummy food and free beer. :-) I was very proud of myself.

Got a ride in on Sunday, too! It was a really nice day and, although we couldn't ride up into the mountains like we like to (still too much gravel on the twisties), we had a great ride anyway. It's supposed to be warm (near 70) for the next four or five days, so it looks like I'll get to ride all weekend. Woo hoo!!

SuGyong what did someone do hit that women with a dumb stick. You have done really well and that was not fair for someone to say such a horrible thing to you! Brush it off and show her you mean business.

JukieF I have loved the weather this last week. It is great to see everyone back on their motorcycles. You can tell they been itching to get out as I have seen tons of the out. Hopefully this weather will hold out for a while. The piles of snow are finally starting to disappear! Congrats on your good job staying on track this week.

Well Chicks have a great weekend and have a great stay on plan one too. Keep on Keep'n on!

SuGyong- That was a real jerky comment for that lady to make. Actually, she's probably noticed your weight loss and is jealous, so she made a comment. My cousin used to do that to me ALL the time in High School. Don't let her get you down. Some women can really be such *itches.

Jukie- Congrats on losing the weight and passing by the good food and free beer. You're stronger than I'd be!

Harley- Congrats on your .5 loss this week, too! You're right about the 30's. I kind of feel like I've "earned" the right to not give a crap about what people think and feel more free to voice my opinion. Weird what a number can do! LOL

Have a great weekend, chicks. I have GOT to stick to plan this weekend. I want a loss on Monday!!

good morning biker chicks!

SuGyong, that was a crummy thing for that woman to say. Why are some people so thoughtless? or intentionally mean...I also think she is secretly jealous and resentful. Poop to her!

hi to everyone else! Jukie, I am happy for you but also INSANELY jealous that you are riding, you lucky girl!!! go for it! have a ride for all of us!

NINE weeks from today hus and I will be in sunny, warm Myrtle Beach with a couple hundred thousand other happy bikers Now there's a happy deadline for me!

Had my second visit to Curves yesterday and have also been doing at least one exercise tape at home daily. Feels good

I keep trying to convince my husband that it's good to take the bike out. The roads are dry and clear. So what if it's 34 degrees out? It's not freezing.

He could wear chaps, but he's got some kind of phobia when it comes to them. :P

Heh heh.

Well, I'm down a bit (YAY!) to 163.

We turned all of our clocks yesterday and the kids and I are taking it in stride. DH has decided to fight it by telling me what time it's SUPPOSED to be every time he looks at the clock. LOL!

"Well it's 1:45, but it's Supposed To Be 12:45!"

Love that man! He doesn't realize how entertaining he really is.

Lucky Jukie!!!!! have a ride for us

I've been doing GOOD (finally!) going to Curves, exercising at home when I can, and good eating. Today when I arrived at Curves, I thought they opened at 7:00; but htey open at 8:00 today..so I took about a 1 mile walk around the industrial park where it's located, until they openeed, and felt good about that. *edit - it didn't take me an hour to walk a mile!!! I got there at 7:45 *

It's going to be so hard to stay off the scale here at home for 3 more weeks! I don't want to get discouraged about any "up and downing" until I get weighted and measured in April.

HEY! We (our Motorcycle Rights Organization) have an appointment with the Governor of VT. tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 pm. We hope to record some 'sound bites' of him promoting May as Motorcycle Awareness Month. For those newer folks here, our website is www.unitedmotorcyclists.org, and there are lots of great pics of riding and events, but also of our meeting last year with The Guv, when we persuaded him to make an official Proclamation declaring May as Motorcycle Awareness Month.

gotta get ready for work, boooo! have a great day, chicks! keep your goals in mind always!!

I like this pic. The obviously biker-looking guys are the core members of our organization.
