Hat Chick your just as I thought you'd be! You have a serious and no nonsense feel about your posts and you look that way too. Love it! You are a beautiful woman. There is something that is mysterious about you. FL Sun like the pic of you and DH also. Very cute couple.

2 frus your right find something, anything you like and just do it! I don't really like exercise but I've been getting up every morning and get moving and I sure feel a lot better. Your right it is a habit and once you get into it, you just do it! You pink gloved exercise fanatic! I love your motivation!

Tonight is the dreaded weigh in at JC. Well all have a great day. I wonder where Star is she had been MIA for a couple of weeks, I think. Take care!

2fru- I wish that enthusiasm could be bottled up and sent my way!

Kathy- Awesome work on that leg press...I bet you can kick @ss at leg wrestling...

Harley- I really enjoyed your post about how even your dh has noticed the emotional changes in you. Very encouraging.

My weekend wasn't good in terms of eating. Work is kicking my @ss and I am just drained physically. Yet, I know that forcing some exercise will make me feel better. I got back on program yesterday...ate a few cookies, though. Today I am doing really good. Has anyone ever tried that Kashi Go Lean?? I bought a box last night and packed a baggie with about 1/2 a cup to snack on at work. It was really filling and tasty! Very wholesome stuff in it, too. Loads of fiber and protein. It's definetly a keeper!

My friend and I at work are starting a weight loss challenge. Weight in days will be Tuesday mornings, so maybe that will keep me good on the weekends.

Jill - Just remember that feeling when you don't feel like exercising....feel's great, huh?
Harleymom - I don't think anyone has ever described me as "serious" before...cheerfully sarcastic are the first words that comes to my mind...i'll have to ask someone who knows me to look at that pic and see how they would describe me. I have a feeling when DH took that picture that was my "please stop taking pictures" face....

Reb, Kashi is good mixed up with cottage cheese and a few spices and a little bit of splenda. Try it, you might like it Oh and Frus enthusiasm - mail order, just $4.99 (must be used in conjunction with sensible diet and exercise plan). I could make a fortune!

Yeah where is Star? Didn't she have another op or something coming up?

Great kickboxing last night - beating up the blokes, I got one over on one of the good ones! He was tired though, but I gave him a good kicking! Oh and I can almost do box splits (I get about 4" off the ground) but it's feeling easier this week, just suddenly.

THE PLATEAU IS NO MORE! Lost 2lbs since Friday But I'm not sure if it's a fluke or not!! Will wait till Mr TOM goes to find out for sure!

2fru- GORGEOUS dress...wow...you'll knock 'em dead in that little number. I will try the Kashi in my cottage cheese. Right now I've been doing fat free cottage cheese and light fat free yogurt mixed together...yummy and filling with all that protein and little fat! Hopefully the plateau is over frus!

After my weekend of rotten eating I managed to maintain, but I wanna lose more by next Tuesday.

Good Morning Chicks!

Went and weighed in last night gained .5 lbs this week. I got on the crazy eliptical 5 times this week. I also ate right. Darn it! Loss next week.

2 frus love that dress! It is beutiful. Good way to stay on track. Good for you moving down on the scales. Go kick someones b*tt for me, in class of course!

Reb sounds like your working hard to stay on track and do things right don't beat yourself up so much girl! I am glad you have found someone at your job to be a weight loss buddy, that should help you stay on track at work!

Hat Chick you are funny as all get out but I am telling you I don't think I would want you on my bad side. This is coming from a crazed red head. I bet your friends love you.

FL Sun hope your day is going well today. Don't for get to do the E word today.

2Fru.....GREAT JOB on breaking the dreaded plateau!!! Hopefully, the rest of us can do the same really soon That dress is drop-dead gorgeous!!! Do you have a special event coming up??

Harley...bummer on the .5.....I feel your pain. The good news is that you're not discouraged, and even your DH is commenting on your positive attitude. It's a new day and week....so onward!! You have it figured out...that's the hard part. The rest will come!

Reb....good job getting back on track...you can do it! I agree that having a buddy @ work to help to help you stay on plan will be wonderful!

Chick....I thought about what you said about remembering the feeling that I had yesterday when I had a good exercise day and it worked! Even tho I had limited time this morning, I still plugged in the ol' DVD and did the whole thing! YAY! OK.....2 days in a row....when does this become a habit!!???? LOL I think they have pilates and kick boxing at the local Y. I'm going to check it out soon. Might be for me!!

Hey girls... I just wanted to add a little note from Star. I emailed her and told her that we were all concerned about her.

She wanted me to tell you all that she is ok, but kinda going through some stuff right now and can't really focus. She wanted to thank you for your thoughts and said everyone's so sweet. I'm sure we'll be seeing her around soon enough!

Thanks for the update on Star, Rebel. I hope everything turns out ok for her. BTW, throw that 1/2 cup of Kashi in your yogurt/cottage cheese mix -it's delicious.

2Frustrated....WAY TO GO! There's nothing more frustrating () than a plateau. *insert foxy whistle here* that is one hot dress...you're going to look fabulous!

Flsunbkd -keep up the good work on the exercise! It's all cold here, come by me on your bike..... .......

HarleyMom, you've been losing like a mad-woman, your .5 gain will be gone in no time.

Chick... I thought you'd have short blonde hair too. You're pics are great by the way!

I'm in a motel room for the night, and I just did 225 crunches and 75 pushups - I have a long way to go to get to my goal, but that will have to do for tonight.

Jill - that's my wedding dress right there! Am going to see about a fitting in a week or two but I might wait a month or two and then order it.

Kathy - you see the inspiration for the name??

HarleyMom - bummer about the 0.5 but I bet it's just water and/or muscle. Deffo set up for a loss next week.

I'm going to beat people tonight! I'm also going to try and hit the floor in box splits! I'm about 4" off last time I tried, but it felt easier.

2Frus....YOUR WEDDING DRESS! That's Fabulous!!! I was hoping you'd say that, Girl!!! Do you have a date for the Big Day yet???

YUK Kathy....annuities??? Sounds boring like that class I had to take to get an insurance license one time. Something I NEVER used, by the way....corporate america and their big ideas at work! I was a mortgage banker working for Citicorp at the time and I had to have the license to ask this one, sinple question on mortgage applications: "Would you like credit life insurance?" Then I checked the box yes or no. LOLOLOL 25 years later I'm still laughing about that one! You GO Girl with those crunches and push ups....gotta admire you for keeping up with 'em while on the road!!

It's a gorgeous, cool morning here in Central Florida ....am going to go do my Pilates and eat my bowl of Kashi. Thanks chick, for keeping me going!...and 2Frus....I'm still thinking about that kickboxing. Just taking one thing at a time tho. Figure I'll get in a little shape with what I'm doing now....then maybe Go For It. Love the idea of Pink Gloves!

I haven't met Star yet....but tell her I'm anxious to! Harley...you have done wonders with your weight....just a little hiccup going on!
