Hello everyone still lurking around here, looking at the threads often but haven't posted recently. We leave for camping today so I am about to head out for last minute shopping then lots of packing I won't be able to weigh in til wed. next week so hopefully there will be some changes. I am still recovering weight wise from the last trip but have figured out I just can't fudge on the wheat so I am packing smarter this time.
I am still new to this wheat sensitivity so I am still trying to figure it all out. Sounds like everyone is doing great! I am doing good on the challenge, barely meeting it but so far everyday on plan. Wow sno you are doing awesome great sticktuitiveness lol.
tleef- I think when we reach our goals we all need shirts made with something witty on it, like genes had nothing to do with this body or only wise lifestyle choices can get you here something fun lol.
Okay well wish me luck, camping has always been hard, lots of junk food around! Exercise should be easy though camping near mt Rainier so we will have pleanty of chances for a hike.

edzard...It's so funny that you should say that. I have thought about that myself only I like "Results not Typical" LMBO! Isn't that what it says below all pictures on diet websites when they show success stories. I want to be one of those RNT people! I will be!

Cheers, Tamara

Hello everyone! I haven't been working out as much lately. I just haven't been in the mood to do anything but sleep. I'm soooo tired all the time recently. I don't know what it is. I average 1200 calories a day, which I think is enough. Oh yeah, I discovered lean cuisines and I LOVE them. They are so filling and at 300 calories, not so bad. It is a lot easier for me to just grab one and pop it in the microwave. I tried making a bunch of different "healthy" dishes, but they didn't taste too good. I'm gonna stick with the lean cuisines until I get burnt out or get the motivation to try some new recipes. I went clothes shopping and I'm amazed at the difference already. My stomach is getting flatter, yay!!! No one can believe that I weigh as much as I do. I carry the weight all over my body, not just in certain places. Which I guess is good. I love coming on here and changing my ticker.. it has really helped me to stay on track. Haha.. Sorry for all the rambling. It looks like everyone is doing great! Keep it up! Have a good weekend everyone! I hope I can knock another pound or two off by monday's weigh in

Hey Neesy! Welcome to the world of Lean Cuisines LOL. I LOVE them. They are delicious and satisfying...and there are a TON Of flavors so I find it hard to burn out. I just don't feel like cooking every lunch and every dinner..It's so nice to be able to nuke a delicious meal in 3-6 minutes

Default Friday! 5/5!

Hi all!

Hope you all are having a great day! Mine has gone well. I worked out with my friend--did a dvd. Was too tired to do cybex today tho. I found some fantastic black cherries at the grocery store--I love the dark maroon insides--so pretty and delicious! YUm!

It cooled off a little today which is nice. My friend has the cutest two year old girl and I bought her one of those sunsuits--they look like a wetsuit but are thinner and are 100SPF--we have been wanting to go to the beach but she is so fair--now we can go!

Lekhika: you are halfway there for your goal! Yippee--your hard work is paying off!

Neesy: You might want to start taking a multivitamin pill to round out your diet. Also is your diet very low in carbs? Sometimes a very low carb diet will make you tired. You can get all the carbs you need from fruit and veggies. It couldnt hurt to get an exam from the doc---after all you could be anemic or something and need an iron pill. You dont want your fabulous success derailed by a nutritional deficit!

Nina: great job with meeting your goals--and super for the thighs not rubbing together. I cant wait for that one!

Tamara: I love the results not typical idea--great idea. thanks for the advice on my hubbys b-day--I think it makes sense to try it out and see how it goes--after all I cant eat nutrisystem for the rest of my life--well I could but boring!

Sock: one of my fave things about nutrisystem is not having to cook--I like to cook but it is a nice change. The only thing I have to do is remember to chop some lettuce and put it in the fridge in the salad spinner. that way it is add dressing and eat!

Edzard: cant wait to hear how the camping trip goes--its good you are working on the sensitivity to wheat thing--that should make a big difference!

I love how everyone is putting their long term goals--I know having an xmas goal makes me really motivated because I can lose so much by then.

And dont think it is over on Labor day guys--we will still be losing together afterwards on the Christmas Challenge!!!

to everyone!

Snow- I take a multivitamin and I eat lots of fruits and veggies. I think I'm just lazy. I just recently graduated and I have a lot going on. I'm just trying to avoid it all.. I'll get over it. I feel more energized this morning. I'll definitely be on for the christmas challenge too. It's amazing just thinking about how much we can lose as long as we don't give up. And I don't think we will=)

Sock-I know! I don't think I could live without them now. I'm going to the store to stock up.

Talk to you guys later!

Default Saturday! 6/6

to sock--now it is the drum roll to onederland

Neesy--stress will definitely sap your energy-the paradox is that exercise will actually help with stress and with fatigue. Even just walking a little each day!

Elegant! we are rooting for you!

to us all!

Well, I did my weigh-in this morning to see how much i've lost in the first week of July. I've officially lost 3 pounds. Only 5 more to go and 23 days to do it! I'm so happy with myself.
I even had a nice NSV yesterday. I have this red semi-tight tshirt that I used to wear. I haven't in ages because well, at my weight as of late it had been much much to tight. Well, yesterday I wore it and it was officially the first day my b/f said "holy you've lost alot of weight. congratulations!" that made me pretty happy. The part that made me happiest was being able to wear it even. Also I realised yesterday with the shirt that my jeans are just ridiculously large on me now so it's time to purchase some new ones.
I hope everyones doing well! TOM still hasn't stopped by my house, but i'm not too concerned, because it's happened before (diet& exercise changes have often caused me to miss or a delay in my period). I can't wait to hear how everyone else has done. Well, i'm off to take the dog for a walk then get my morning exercise in. Happy sunday everyone!

Good Monday Morning everyone,

Congrats on onederland sockmonkey. Awesome accomplishment. From hear on in it 10 pound increments that set your goals. Sounds like everyone is doing well.
I have to agree with you about the exercise/stress connection. I think exercise works better than drugs when it comes to depression or stress. It's just getting the feet moving that's the big challenge. Once your moving things just seem to take care of themselves.
Well it's official. I'm 149.2 this morning. The first time in 7 years I've been below 150. I'm 6/8 for July and determined to keep on track even through a 5 day camping trip. Total weight loss for this challenge is 5 pounds so far. I'd like to lose 10 more but realistically 5 would be great. I'm still focusing on regular exercise particularly weight training so even though I've only lost 5 lbs things have tightened up nicely and I believe I'll be wearing a two piece bathing suit this year. I've been catching the July summer sales on the weekend and it sure is fun to buy clothes this year.
Good luck this week everyone,

Nina

Good morning everyone...or as good as a Monday can be!

The scale gods are definitely in my corner these days. I'm down another 1.5 lbs as of Saturday. That means down 8 of my 20...Twelve more to go and 8 weeks to do it in!

I'm 6/8 so far as I missed working out on Friday and Saturday. I did do a ton of laundry this weekend though and even though it's not working out, I live in a three storey and the washer/dryer are in the basement...it works out to be a lot of stairs!

Back to the gym tonight and then I'm working on getting as much done as possible this week as I leave bright and ugly Saturday morning to fly down to KS & MO for 9 days. DH had to go into the field this week and won't be back till Friday so I have to get everything ready without his help DD will help though...she's really excited to be going down, probably cause GM spoils her rotton!

Anyhow good work everyone! Sock, Awesome to be in Onederland...I'll be joining you soon I hope. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Cheers, Tamara
