I'd like to Join the july challenge ladies, if you'll have me!

I'd like to:

a) Lose 8-10lbs
b) Weight Train 3-4 times a week (especially my arms and abs!)
c) Instead of speed walking/jogging move up to running, even if it's for a shorter period of time.
d) incorporate other forms of cardio into my workout- maybe tennis?

I'm down for the July challange too!!

My non negotiables are...

CARDIO, CARDIO, CARDIO 6 days a week!
Yoga everyday (because it really relaxes me)
And working on my patience quote.

I would like to lose 8 more in July but even if I don't and I stay on plan, I'm good to go!!

And of course, eating mindfully. This time around I don't really deny myself the random treat when eating outside....and it's really done wonders for my self control and has shown in my weight loss.

PS. I weighed in and I'm down to 125 SO....

I've lost 7 pounds and 13 more to go by labor day!

Snow that Cybex machine sounds interesting. I LOVE the elliptical. That's where I do the majority of my workout. I can't wait until I can afford one for my house.

HI Challengers--

the list is getting long!

Elegant: the july challenge is a mini challenge within the labor day challenge So I hope you are up for both! What would be your weight goal for Labor Day?

Just to review we are first setting our goals for July 1--dont forget it starts Sunday! What we will report on is if we are 100% each day. So the format will be on day 7 if you are 100% every day it will be 7/31! Okay? and if you didnt make it two days it will be 5/31.

Lekhika: on your loss--you are doing great. You seem pretty consistent despite little setbacks. great job!

Sock--The elliptical at my friends is awesome--she got it in her divorce and it cost $6000! It practically does the exercise for you!

Sno I am actually 5 pounds down now. I guess I never posted my new weight LOL.

$6000???? Heh may be a few years before I get something that snazzy.

hey yall.. i just wanted yall to know how freaking awesum it is to wake up stand on that scale and see a smaller number ).. i started this challenge @ 243.. and im @..


238.. im NO LONGER In the 240's yahhhhh that kicks serious butt i love it.. and i love everyone of yall for giving me tha words of wisdom i needed to hear.. i love the fact i can come on here and depend on gettin support from someone who may not know me but understands what im going through.. WE CAN DO IT LADIES!!!!! maybe gimmme one more pound in tha morning... i havent gotten back to my "daily excer" due to painting again.. but i checked online and like for an hour of painting (in home) i burn like 300 cals... and i painted for like 2 and 1/2 3 hrs sooooooo i know i got my cal burn for today.. heck tha past 3 days. and on top of all that i played in pool today for an hour and i know i burn cals there.. i had a grilled chick salad for lunch.. and almost 1 hotdog w/ chili and ketchup *(serviing) --- chips and all my water intake SO i know my cals where way under 1500.. SOOOO im really hyped again i love seeing the scale move downward!!! everyone keep up the great work!

I would like to take part in the July challenge, if it's not too late. Here are my goals:

Goals

1) Lose 11 pounds
2) Eat a salad everyday
3) Go on treadmill at least 30 minutes everyday if weather is bad, otherwise at least 30 minutes outside either walking or riding bike
4) Do situps/crunches everyday
5) Drink lots of water and 1 cup green tea everyday

Hi all:

so I have achieved all my exercise for the week and have been on plan that makes me 29/30 for June! Cant wait for tomorrow and our next challenge cuz I want to lose a bunch of weight in July!

Of course you can join--anytime--even after the beginning of July--we are always ready to help anyone achieve their 100% goals!!

Chunkyb: I can totally relate--the best feeling is seeing that scale go down--well actually I think the best feeling is when I fit in a smaller size!

Hey everyone! I haven't written in a while, but anyway I lost 13 pounds this month.. So, I'm happy=) I am getting really tired of grilled chicken, turkey and salad. Does anyone have any suggestions? (I don't eat seafood) I'd appreciate any suggestions you guys have. Thanks!!!

Hey all!

I'm reporting my weekly loss today instead of tomorrow am because we are leaving to go to the lake for the week. I am down 7lbs!!! Pray that the eat right and exercise gods will be with me this week. My goal for the week is to not gain anything and exercise at least three days.

I am also up for the July challenge! Would like to lose 8lbs in July and exercise a minimum of 5 days per week. Best of luck to everyone this week!!

Well, it's now July everyone, so get yourselves ready for a brand new month, and week! Happy Canada Day to my fellow canadians. i didn't lose a pound this past week but succeeded in losing 6 pounds last month. I'm aiming for 8 this month, with a 2 pound loss this week. What are everyone elses mini goals for the week?
