You can do it DMC. Carbs are hard for me too., When I snack it's usually some sort of carb. I am trying to limit them also to see if I don't see some quicker results. I am really hoping for good numbers tomorrow on weigh in.

Weekend plans anyone? I may try to do a little shopping. I am running low on things that actually fit. Most of my tops are too big and look sloppy. I may treat myself to a couple new things to tide me over. I ordered a couple things from Old Navy. They had alot of stuff on clearance and with a code, I got an extra 50% off.
Super Bowl party to go to Sunday. I will have to do some searching for a low fat appetizer to take. Any ideas?

OMW, my weigh day is everyday. I can't help it. I had a week where the pounds really dropped fast and now it has slowed down a some. I have to go to a superbowl party too. Our friends are having a wine tasting party along with it and I need to take an appetizer too. Have you ever spread light cream cheese on a rectangle of sliced ham, place a dill pickle on the edge, roll it up and dice coin sized bites. It's easy, fast, good and reasonably healthy.
We went to a musical called The Producers tonight. It was a fun comedy. We went out to eat before. I had broiled stuffed salmon (spinach and onions), cottage cheese, and a salad. I made 13,000 + steps today...my highest ever.

Weighed in today. I lost 2! I haven't lost more than a pound in a week in a long time. Glad to see my body cooperating a little. I am still doing the Wii Fit and WATP with the bike and treadmill mixed in here and there.

My steps are low and I am trying to muster up the energy to jump on the treadmill. Tomorrow I need to exercise early, before the Superbowl celebration.

I joined a new Biggest Loser contest at the gym. Starts tomorrow- goes 3 months. All my workouts are mapped out for me, and Ill be meeting with a nutritionist Thursdays. Hoping for another 25 lbs.

OMW - I hope you have another good week. My scale said 222.8 this morning...I always wait until it is new number.5 or less before I change the ticker. I feel like I am really close.

Hello everyone I'm still here. I will not post on Wed, Thurs, and Friday's I have school and I"m up and gone early as early as 430am and don't get home till late. Next week the week of the 9th I have surgical rotation on Monday so I will be able to post on Friday and oops Thursday to. So everyone is doing awsome. I have lost another pound down to 134. I feel great and we finally bought a wii I don't have the wii fit yet , but I do the generic on they have on we sports. My arms just kill me after the boxing and baseball even the bowling (lol it's so much fun) I"m so happy you all stayed togehter and kept the thread going. I'm so glad to still be a part of it all. Well it's super bowl and go cardinals....... We are staying home I ordered a 2 foot sub and I"m making wings and I'm going to stay away from them today myabe just one or two the sub is roast beef I will put mustard on mine. I might buy a veggie tray? beer yes I have to have beer I will walk and do the wii today. I weigh in tomorrow so mmmm we will see. I will check in later and everyone you are doing so good. wow
I totally forgot to weigh in yesterday, so I did this morning and of course, I stayed the same. No loss this week. Maybe next week.
I am laying low today, but I did buy some ribs. I ate some last night with some salad and whoops, a glass of wine.
I have been working out EVERYDAY at the gym, I am getting stronger. I just think the weight loss will have to come after my muscle tone inproves and I break down that tissue. Muscle weighs more than fat and I am getting really strong. I noticed it today with pushups. I can do about 15 without getting too weak. Pretty good I think. They aren't easy for me. I do them after we already do lots of arm wieght work, so probably could do more if I did them first.
Anyway, lots going on here, have some drama at my DD school to deal with, bills and taxes! So a little stressed, topped off with DD isn't feeling very good, that always really stresses me!
I am here, I am working hard and promise to post more this week! Get with this program and keep up my support for all of us BFFs.

I survived Super Bowl Sunday! Didn't do too bad, ate lots of veggies and dip and had chili. Back on track today, weekends are tougher for me, way too much chance of grazing and snacking on things I shouldn't.

hello everyone well I did not do to bad either. I did have a lot of beer. OOPS , but as for food I had two wings, small amount of 7 layer dip with chips, and a small piece of a roast beef sub with mustard, I don't think that's all that bad. I'm going to do the wii today they have a fittness one it's not like the game it's just one that comes with wii sports. I have six chapters to read our lecture is on child bearing. So I will sit today and then try to go for a walk and play the wii. Everyone seems to have been doing good. I think I'm going to set a V day goal. I'm stuck on 134 .... K I will check in later. I am not doing so well on the eating front. I made some lasagna, but with ground turkey and I kept it as light as possible. I will count each piece at about 500 calories though. Thats 1/3 my daily allowance.
The eating has been tuff OnMYWay, but you are right, I do workout A LOT! I am hoping that one of these days something clicks. I don't think I should have to starve in order to lose some weight, but that might just be because I am getting so much older. In May, I will be 49. UGH.
Today, planning on some fruit, yogurt and a piece of lasgana. I am going to try to eat much slower.
I am also considering Slimfast to get a kickstart. I see from a commercial you can get some coupons to get started.
I found somthing that works for me and that's I drink v8 juice 20 minutes before I eat. It's filling and also It's (well on Weight watchers it's only one point) It works well and it's healthy. Let me know if it works for you. I feel like I have to almost starve to. If I go off my diet at all I gain one to two pounds. I eat lean cuisean and salad and drink a lot of water. I try to stay active , but it's very hard work. Talk to everyone later.
Its really nice to see all the new posting. I did OK on Superbowl Sunday. We went to a wine tasting party. I am not sure how many calories I took in. We tasted small amounts of seven different wines. Otherwise, I ate chili and dip with vegetables like OMW did. I did three miles on the treadmill before the party so that made me feel like maybe I broke even on the deal.
DMC - It's good that you remember how much more muscle weighs than fat. Did you measure your BMI before you started compared to now. I would bet with the increased muscle mass there is a large difference. Seems as though I always hear increased muscle mass burns up more calories so I am sure you will see the scale drop soon if you work to control calories too.
Lindy, I like the V8 idea but for me I question the palatibility of cold tomatoe juice. I love hot tomatoe soup but can't conceive of drinking it cold. Maybe I should try it before I just assume.
Does anyone have an explanation for why my mouth always feels dry all of a sudden? I have a busy week ahead as I am on call this week...always a challenge to squeeze in exercise during these weeks but I am on my way to the treadmill right now.

Hello..... Well I just found out I have to leave for school tomorrow at 4:15am they have a couple of surgeries scheduled and they invited us. So I have friday off. Man I'm going to be tired. Well anyways I'm doing good with the eating I had a good lunch you gals should try it. Lean cuisean spanish rice with beans and I put it over lettuce. It was really good and filling, I had a piece of a sub and a V8 juice. I will have another lean cuisean tonight and pack a lunch for tomorrow. I'm so glad everyone is making good choices. And we are going to look awsome this spring. I will check in later my whole night just changed now I have to get all my stuff together for tomorrow. kk see ya later. Happy Healthy eating.
