Good morning! 4 days of my break left. Not much planned. It's nice out again today so I need to do something outside. I have done well this week so far and am hoping to be able to post a small loss at least. It is much harder being home than working. On the plus side, I have exercised more with more free time.

Pony, that is funny about the dog! I took our dog to obedience when we first got her. I thought it was alot of fun!

I'm thinking spring is really here. My daffodils are blooming. Have a great day!

Good evening friends,

OMW, Four more days of break is wonderful. Try to find some new low calorie snacks and meals for the following week, grocery shop, try a new fruit or vegetable, more exercise is great, stay busy and you will drop pounds!!

I am begging my DH to help me build some raised beds for gardening. I would like to try a variety of lettuces and spinach this year. Usually if I start to do a project like this myself he feels guilty and comes and helps me , maybe this weekend.

My pedometer says 9126m, guess I need to get on the treadmill or Wii. Today was the first day a client actually mentioned it looked like I had lost weight. That comment made my day! Tomorrow is the first day of Spring and it's Friday.....whoo hooo!

Congrats on the compliment Pony! It is just the first of many, I'm sure! It is a good feeling when people notice.

I am SOOOO glad it is spring. I have been wearing capris all week. It feels great.

Husbands are funny. Why is it that if we ask them to do something they aren't into it? Then if we start it ourselves they can't wait to help or takeover!

I think your ticker moved again! You are doing great. You'll be saying goodbye to the 200's soon! Have a great day!

Hello,

I drank more coffee than I should have today, hence the wide awake typing at 10:50 PM. Usually I don't drink any coffee or at the most, one cup, one or two times a week. Today I was sitting at a restaurant waiting 1/2 hour for two others to arrive and I was chilled so I kept drinking coffee....that was dumb but better than eating donuts!!

I had a salad made out of cucumbers, peppers, black olives, red onions, grilled chicken, and feta cheese with a balsamic/olive oil dressing. It had no lettuce in it....very nice change up.

Good luck with the Saturday weigh-ins! How is everybody doing out there??? Any old friends or posters??? Go OMW...my committed tried and true 3FC internet buddy!!

Pony, I have the same problem with diet coke! Drink it after 5 and I'm up half the night. I rarely have soda these days and I don't really miss it. Your salad sounds great. I will have to try it. I had a wrap that was similar at a cafe last weekend.

My weigh in was not the best. I am up 2. I have not been the best being home all week. Too much nibbling going on. Also have TOM coming on. Oh well!!! I know what I need to do. No excuses.

DD has soccer today and then errands! What fun! Have a great day!

OMW, Another long day on call, supporting DD at an indoor track meet, and then more calls. On days like this I don't need exercise because I never sat down the entire day! It really makes me sleep good at night.

I would not worry about 2 up, especially if TOM coming on....that always really messes things up for me to. Keep on keeping on and you will soon hit a bonus week where you will lose more than you think you will. Did you make your written list of all the reasons why you want to lose weight yet? It really sounds silly, but I make myself read it before I start my truck in the mornings and before I get out of my truck at night. I think it affects my subconscious and really helps me refrain from giving in to my wants as opposed to my needs.

Goodnight...I need sleep....and you are right.....tomorrow....."no excuses"...for me either!!

Thanks Pony! I appreciate your encouragement. I made a list today. I will keep it in my car to read each morning and then again after I get off work. It sounds like a terrific way to stay focused!

My DH, DD and I went to see Cirque Dreams today. All I can say is OMG! Unbelievable what those people can do with their bodies. We had a wonderful time! My break is coming to an end. I have had 10 very nice relaxing days off. I'm ready to go back to work!

Thanks for hanging in there with me Pony! Any other BFF's out there?

I am not on call this week and plan to keep busy and get my exercise. I would love to see the Cirque Dreams, I am glad you had a good time! Tonight we are having BLTs for supper. I can smell the bacon from this chair because tonight my DH is making supper...nice!!

DD is icing her splints tonight...sore from pole vaulting over the weekend. If anyone has any good remedies for this I would love to hear about them. This year before track she even started conditioning earlier to try to prevent this. I don't enjoy seeing her walk around sore all the time ....she is a tough kid who doesn't complain but I can tell she is really hurting. She wears good shoes but the tearing of the ligament must be acting up again.

I hope you all make good choices this week......time goes on and we can choose to keep our bodies healthy or let them decay....I'm choosing healthy!

Hey Pony! Looks like it's just me and you these days! You are getting closer to Onederland! Keep it up!

Sorry to hear about your DD. I have no ideas what to do for her painful shins. Does the school have a trainer that can give advice?

I'm choosing healthy too. Back to school and back on track today. It is much easier for me to do well when I pack my lunch and snacks.

Have a great evening!!!

I did a good job packing snacks today too...took grapes, almonds, and half a tortilla roll with 1oz cheese in the middle. I need to go grocery shopping again. Lately I've been in a rain, rain, go away mood.

I caught the very end of The Biggest Loser tv show tonight after dog training class. I was surprised to see how much weight the father/son had lost. I have missed watching this show but I think the exercise of dog obedience class is probably better than sitting on the couch watching The Biggest Loser.

Be good on Wednesday...I'll check in Wed. night. Best wishes.

I had a good day today. I feel like I am really back on track.

How was obedience class? You can watch Biggest Loser online if you miss it. I watch it or DVR it if I need to miss.

Have a great Thursday, it's almost the weekend again! Time is flying by! It will be summer before we know it. Will you be ready to wear a bathing suit?

Wonderful....back on track is good!
Hondo, the greatest obedience dog of all time (LOL) was a good boy, he was less nervous this time. Our goal this week is to learn "down" from a voice command and drop the hand signal. Border Collies are so smart....he covers up my shortcomings.
Bathing suit....ooooohhhhh......can't go there yet, seems to still be a dream ....but someday.....yes.
Sunshine sure sounds appealing....sounds like Kansas and Missouri are in a stormbelt tonight.
I think the B Vitamins are helping. I feel like I have more energy too. That is a nice side effect. Later....

Back to 192! The scale is back down! Yahoo! I had a great week, ate clean and got in some exercise every day. Glad my body appreciated my hard work and rewarded me with some loss! My head is back in the right place, I'm going to do this!

Have a great day Pony, I'm guessing you will be moving that ticker again soon! Maybe 205 today?

OnMyWay - Glad you are back on track and the scales are moving. WTG!!!

Pony - I had to smile (or I was going to cry) about the bathing suit. I had two that I just packed up and sent to my sister along with all my clothes that are too big. Now I am without one and refuse to go shopping for one. I remember two years ago when I went shopping for one I ended up in tears; it was such a depressing time; I'm not ready for that experience again.

CruiseCAT,

Why don't you try buying online. I have had good luck with Lands' End swimsuits. That way you can avoid the harsh changing room lights. I can understand the wanting to cry part--I've been there.

But no one should deprive themselves of fun! And that includes outdoor water activities. I love laying on my floatie on the lake with a beer, tied to the dock of course, in the summer chatting with friends and family, soaking up some sun. I think it's my favorite thing in the summer! And no size is going to keep me from having fun! Swimsuits come in all sizes now.
