HI all, still cloudy here in NJ. When will this sun come out again? Went to Curves this morning at the crack of dawn, well that's what it felt like even though it was nine o'clock. But I had a busy day yesterday. Took our kids at school to Philadelphia zoo, in the pouring rain and high winds. Felt utterly knackered by the time I got home and then spent the vening ferrying number one son to and fro to friends houses. Did have a reprieve by going to the movies though, watched Chicago. Really enjoyed it and will def be buying it when it comes out on DVD.
Dave has been out in Las Vegas all week. Came home last night a very happy camper after having a small win on the cards table. Said he had a blast out there, but wouldn't want to take me cos I'd spend too much money....don't have a clue where he gets that idea from?
Right, that's it from me for now, have a great weekend everyone.

Have never been to Vegas. Have only been to a casino once, was about 20 and the christmas lunch at work was in one. The boss had us all orgainsed so that no one had more than a tenner in their pocket and therefore wouldn't lose their christmas wags on the tables.
Have done nothing all weekend.
Apart from drink to much wine and nibble

It is so blooming cold here I am wearing cords and a sweatshirt and my hands are freezing. We have had a long downpour this morning but at least I managed to take the dog with me on the shortest walk possible which helpfully goes past the postbox, as I had to post mum's birthday card today...
I have decided to weigh again this week on Boots plc scales and if I have not lost anything I will take a close look at the wwonline weight watchers. I am still waiting for my benefit tribunal to happen so until then I have to be quite careful with the out goings from the purse.
I saw my "patience-of-a-saint g.p." last Friday and comlained bitterly about my exhaustion and feeling shakey and as if I am staggering round the place at times. He found the answer!! My blood pressure, usually running low at 105/70, is now recording at 84/74. What more needs to be said!!The g.p. thinks it is a side effect of the increased dose of Oxycodone, the pain-killer.He is not going to change anything until I start falling over, but does actually think the body will get used to that level and start behaving again....ha ha!!

So is that pressure OK Teel? i'm a bit confused about BP because mine is always on the low side (90+ over 50+) and someone told me that that can be as bad a high BP but i did'nt bother about it and lately on the news they are saying that what was considered a healthy BP is now considered to be on the high side
Weather sounds awful English weather is so unpredictable. I love the place but you can keep the weather

Isn't it funny?? No matter where we live in this vast metropolis, it always seems that many conversations revolve around the weather we are having at the moment!!! No-one is ever satisfied and it is usually a choice of one or two of the list below....
1. rain
2. thunder/lightning/storm
3. cold with or without frost
4. warm summer breeze
5. cold winds /gales
6. sunshine/blue sky / not a cloud in sight
7. TOO HOT AND HUMID!!!!
No wonder the human race has to be the most adaptable mammal on the history of the planet earth!!
