Glad to hear you're feeling better again Carol. Well done on maintaining the positive attitude with the help from you new support team.
I have posted recently on the weekly weigh in, but it doesn't seem to have taken. I've had a few times with that one.
I stayed the same this week. Have been a bit piggyish a few days too, so no wonder really. Am definitely on track today though and have done all my sessions at Curves for the week and am still loving it
I am vry excited too, as I am off to AZ in two weeks for a mini break. Just me, no hubby or kids, they are staying here. They will have a bonding time while I'm away. It's nice and warm out there now so I'm looking forward to basking in some 90 degree sunshine. Hope I can get some sun to my peaky wite legs, they are embarrassing at the moment, the glare of brightness from them is scary.
Right, am off to have a late dinner, everyone have a great weekend.

Hi Ladies Carol..i really enjoyed reading your tale about that young woman because i'm sure that most of us can relate to it..i can't remember how many times i've had a row with hubby or felt depressed and then stuffed myself with chocolate..and you're right..i've not even enjoyed it either it was kind of like a "i'll show you" moment but i don't know who i'm showing because the only one i've been hurting has been myself
That is great that the ladies at work are supporting you..how nice to get compliments on a regular basis
I'm having a really relaxing friday evening..i was outside working in the greenhouse at 7am and was out there all day i re-potted lots of stuff...painted the greenhouse..came in just after 5pm had a couple of beers put my dinner on..had a soak in the tub came down just had dinner and i'm having a couple of more beers before i settle down in front of the telly and watch "Panic Room"
I'm buggered no other words to describe it!

Ray woke me at 5:45 this morning, thinking his luck was in - men !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now the boys are back and I'm exhausted and he is up at my brothers, vegging with a beer - men !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have shopped until I dropped today, I need to get back to some semblance of normal eating have been picking all day - the danger of not writing it down.

5 days away is not an excuse to put on any more than 3lbs - I am that determined, hope the determination stays once we open the wine on Monday night

Hi Teel, we missed you. Glad to see you're back with us
I've had a busy day today, so busy I took a two hour nap....it was lovely
Am getting ready to leave on Thursday for AZ. I am very excited and might even take a pair of shorts, only for wear in the garden though as I don't think anyone is ready to see these white pins!!!
Have a great day everyone.

Oh Dear! I discovered I loke Pringles...very much! I will not buy them myself but over Easter My Dad handed some to me and ..yum! I did quite good on the chocolate as only had 1 egg (milky bar with 2 packets of crunchy mily bar type things as well as the egg). I haven;t eaten the egg yet and have a packet of crunchy things left. I also had a box of quality street. Well, I started on that Easter MOnday but finished it in the cinema - I saw Angela's Ashes and the Magdalean Sisters. Both very sad. I got quite angry actually and was so engrossed I even ate the disgusting cream centres of the quality street sweets! Well, at least they are out of the way now!

Thanks for the good weather wishes Cathy, I checked out the weather for while I'm there and it's anywhere from high seventies during the day to mid eighties, so I'll be happy with that, although I don't know if the shorts will come out ( I'll take them just in case though).
I have been a busy bunny today, getting stuff ready to pack. amde a list and Dave keeps laughing at me about it, but I never go anywhere travel wise without a list of what needs to be taken, bless him though, I reckon he'll miss me, he put his name on the bottom of the list and said I should be taking him too.
Right, well I fancy a little nap, it's cold and windy out....have a great week everyone, talk when I get back next week.

Hello everybody!!
Good to read all your posts and catch up with all your news. Cat90, I too love those mini-eggs, the trouble is once that packet is opened....even the dog likes them!!
Smiling, I do hope your throat gets all better soon and you feel all fit and well again...
BritinNJ have a super super holiday next week and get those legs tanned! It sounds like it is very hot over in Phoenix so we shall watch the world stocks of sun cream go down as the week progresses!!

I got weighed the other day and I have put on half a pound...too much chocolate and an Indian and Chinese takeaway in the last few weeks has proven me guilty.
I MUST get back on track as on May 15th I am going into hospital for an operation on my back...partly diagnostic and hopefully the other half treatment... To say I'm frightened is putting it gently. I AM PETRIFIED! It is not really a general anaesthetic, you are heavily sedated to start with and then are woken up enough to answer whether the surgeon has got the right spot and that is the epicentre of the pain... WOKEN UP TO SEE IF IT HURTS!!! Ha ha ha ha oh deary me. Anyway, the other huge battle at the moment is to get my benefits re-instated and this has got to tribunal hearing level. It really has not helped that both my G.P. and my social worker have been on holiday this week so no help from them recently, and everything is always set to a time limit which if you cross means the cloure of the case. Not fun let me assure you.
Ah well thats enough rabitting from me for now. Take good cre everyone and don't forget to be good.......from time to time anyway!!
Love from Teel
