Rebel Sorry you had a bummer morning. Funerals are never a fun event. I here South Beach is one of the best. I have a friend who is on it and kicking butt! It wouldn't work for me becasue I have to have that accountabiltiy thing going on. Good going avoiding all that junk food! It is never easy but the rewards of not eating it will always be better than it tastes at the time. I did pretty good with the lunch today. Went to have bbque which is never easy because everything is fatty. Had green beans two ribs and slaw best things I could find to healthy on the menu.

Star great news on your loss. Good luck on those last 17 lbs. I here the last to lose is the hardest to lose usually. Love your name for your weight loss center! I hate that arm flap thing going on too. It is horriable when it waves back at you! I have really noticed it since I started loosing wieght.

Chick in hat Who was it who said tomorrow will be a better day? Scarlett O'Hara or something? She did and boy that can be so true. Moods changes just like the weather or your underwear depending on the person.

2frustrated Knee high leather boots and a dress what more does a girl need. Hope you had a great time.

Keep the wind in your face and stay up right chicks and have a great weekend!

Good morning girls!

I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

Star- How did babysitting go? Congrats on the weight loss! Way to go, girl!

We had a very good weekend. Didn't do a whole lot, but that's kinda nice sometimes. Dh found out that he will probably be going back to work in early October and we're really happy about that, but it looks like there's a possibility of him going to 2nd shift. I really hope not, but we'll just be glad he's back to work.

I lost 2 pounds this week and now I need to go change my ticker. Finally at 245! Yippee. LOL.

Have a good one!

Woo hoo Andrea....you are doin great!!

As for me - somebody slap some sense into me next time I agree to go to a buffet.... I was doing pretty good until the still warm chocolate chip cookies came out...

Oh well...just don't look at my FitDay...it wasn't a good week. On a happy note - i was able to talk DH out of buying a pie last night...I told him if he bought one it had to have coconut on it...(the only way in my book to ruin anything).

The weekend was quiet - we went to an Old Car (pre 1943) Show yesterday...nifty...most of the Car Owners were pre 1943 as well.

WTG rebel

My rebel's holding out ok on me although she's due a nice oil change - I can't believe I've done 3000 miles in about 2 months!

Had a big old eating fest of a weekend although I'm not too bothered about it now but I was well peeved this morning when my trousers didn't fit! (I think they shrunk in the wash cos others still fit ok!) Nothing like a Monday-Morning-bulge-over-the-trousers-session to set you up for the week!

I'm chilling out with the exercise and diet this week - need to rest for my kickboxing grading on Saturday. I'm eating slightly more and laying off the weights. Still going to lacrosse tonight though cos I LIKE it! And of course the old kickboxing classes to keep me practising for Saturday! I might start squeezing in extra kicking sessions at home to keep me on my toes!

Getting a bit chilly riding here - must dig out the thermals soon!

Wow busy morning trying to get through the Monday from Stayed busy this weekend playing taxi for my teenage daughters. DH went to Goodland Kansas for some Bike show on Saturday and then went to see a friend who had a bad motorcycle accident a couple weeks ago. He is still in the hospital but he'll be home in a week or so. So didn't get to spend much time with him this weekend. Did go to my mom's and print out some pictures of my new nephew. So cute! DH just got a new magazine and has all the new HD's in it. Wow is all I gotta say. They have this VRod that is a racing bike and ohmygosh it has a drag bar on the back it goes so fast. Love the new Cruiser! Lots of $$$$ though. Got some really cool new things. Good job on your weight loss Rebel! Well all chat later have a good one!

2 Frust - good luck with your kickboxing grading!!

Too funny about the shrinking pants...I used to work in a dry cleaners - people would come in complaining we shrunk their clothes - come to find out the entire wardrobe mysteriously shrunk...

but it doesn't count if it's just one pair..

Went to Lacrosse last night! I have my coach's TOTAL respect! He's bowled over by my bike! (It's not that big honest! I'd be more impressed if I was riding a 1000CC HOG or something!) Then when he found out I did kickboxing he says, "Bloody ****! (In a really cockney geezer type way) You really love your sports don't you?". I was psyched! And also realised that yeah I really do love sports - when did that happen?!

I took that as the best complliment so far! A coach thinks I'm sporty!

I told my friend and she said, "Well you do love sports..." but it's so anti-inner-fat-chick! I guess it's taking me a while to realise that I'm not still the fat girl who's picked last for teams (although I'm still the worst at lacrosse but I'm getting better!).

Off to see a little lad with riding for the disabled this afternoon - I get to stroke horsies! YAY! Kickboxing tonight, I'd better take it easy cos I pulled lots of random muscles last night running around after balls (I feel like a DOG!).

Keep on trucking!

Ladies...

Please keep my family in your thoughts. Sometime either this morning or late last night my husband appears to have had a heart attack. I took him to the ER this morning and they transferred him to another hospital. He is stable right now, but awaiting a heart cath to see what's going on. It's especially scary b/c right now we have no insurance at all. I just wanted to share with you and let you know that I won't be online for a few days. Thanks.

Hugs,

Andrea

So sorry!! I hope everything comes out ok...that's scary stuff. I went through it with my mom. She survived and hasn't had another one in 10 years. I wish the same for your DH.

Rebel how scary for you. A major problem in America these days is no health insurance. I hope he gets the best of care regardless of that fact. Sometimes it doesn't happen that way but it should. I can say at eight hundred dollars a month I have thought about going with out but I just pay it as I have kids and I don't want to go without it. With your husband being out of work hopefully someone will help you both. I know I've had friends that have totally gotten out of paying due to there sistuations. I pray all goes well for you and yours.

Oh Rebel that sucks big time! Hope you can find time to relax a little and take it easy. Hope everything works out ok in the end.

More infectious enthusiasm - I'm getting better and better at my back kicks! Woooo! But grading's on Saturday and there's only 2 hours of classes left! Aaargh! And I think we might be invited out to a friend's birthday this week when I really need practice and sleep! Oh no! Maybe I can do both!

Eating has been really on plan so far this week just gotta sort my head out for the weekend!

Getting cold cold cold round here for riding! I'm going to treat myself to heated handle bars and some thermal long johns! SEXY!
