First off - Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and prayers. The colonoscopy went off without a hitch. The last thing I remember was the nurse saying 'please roll over on your side' Then I was in la-la land and didn't wake up til recovery, a whole 35 minutes later.. One polyps removed and didn't feel a thing. I guess I was alittle over anxious..
The cleanse was way wrose then the procedure that stuff you have to drink the night before made me want to barf.....way gross....

The weather here in Michigan is beautiful. Time of the year to go to the cider mills, get cider and doughnuts, cany apples.......The leaves are just starting to change colors and we now have to wear jackets. When the freezing ice and snow get here my tune will change alittle

Harley - Did you say SNOW? Oh no, please keep it there, don't send it here...
I still haven't gotten my winter clothes out, guess I'd better get busy....

32DD is pretty small around...I'm a 38D right now on the tightest latch so maybe could be a 36?

Hi Gina, Rebel and Holly!

Holy crap indeed and yes the bra sizes are the same in the US an UK! I can see my ribs sometimes - it's THAT small! But my thighs are HUGE! If only my legs were as little as my ribcage!

Hey Holly, glad you're ok apart from your little bumpy chin! BTW what's a cager....?

Cripes snow! I likey da snow! I also like the naughty little piggy! What a rascal!

Star, glad the ikky stuff went ok!

Went to lacrosse last night, am the worst one there and they know it cos no-one passes me the ball I would not go again if I hadn't already paid for the year and gone out and bought a new lacrosse stick!

Had a rough night Sunday with DF shoving me out of bed and generally being a bed monster! I also did LOADS of housework on Sunday while he was out playing at cops and robbers! Then last night he brings me flowers (roses and lillies) and chocolate I have him well trained!

Kickboxing tonight! YAHOOOOO I might get my grading results back...

2F - You are one busy chick......sounds like you get plenty of exercise.... AND you DF sounds like a keeper and you do have him trained well.....
About bra's, I think I'm really maybe a 36 now and not a 38 becuz the 38's are on the tightest hook, is that when your suppose to go to a lower size?
Harley - I would love to see a picture of your little pig too....
I'm at work and really bored, we have no money so I can't pay any bills and I have done everything else there is to do....I hope some of you can come out and play today,......lol

I was wearing my 34s on the tightest hook and they were sliding around. The 32 is a little snug but at least it keeps them thrust up! Your cup size can vary too - If you go down to a 36 then you might want to try a 36 with the cup size bigger.

I'm all for getting well fitting bras and I measured myself before I went so I could check on their size charts at the shop. They didn't have any, so I just tried some bras on. I found some charts online and they all say I should be a 36B!!! A 36B! For one thing, my 36" bras are WAY too sloppy and a B cup! Hello 4 boobs! It's all crazy! And some styles are different sizes anyways! I just go and buy new when I feel them starting to sag a little more!

I was watching Home Shopping Network this morning while getting ready for work and they had bra's on, they all looked really good with lots of support. I almost ordered one, but then thought - hum, it would be better to just go to a store and try some on. That way I will know if I should go down a size......great idea 2F - Thanks!
I also need a couple new exercise bra's, the one's I have are pretty worn out and I wear them like 5 days a week for workouts.......
I use to be a 38DD, now I'm wearing the 38D..so it I go to a 36D I will be feeling like I'm really making improvements........
Actually when I was at my heaviest I was thinking about having a breast reduction, but not anymore.....

I think my biggest size was a 36/38 E! (which you have descrepancies on in the US - the size after DD) Then it kinda trickled down, 36DD, 34DD/D, 32DD! It's wierd, although I'm sure my boobs have shrunk, like they're not as big as they were at 36DD, the cup size stays the same! So technically a 32DD boob is smaller than a 38DD!

I get really frustrated with trying bras on! Specially since I could only find the boring ones in my size!

I'd just like to say "boob" again - just for fun!

2F -
My 'boobs' have gotten smaller and I love that, however with my age they are saggy, don't like that too much.....
I buy my bra's at Victoria Secrets and you can get very pretty one's in all sizes, BUT they are very expensive....
'Boob-Boob-Boob' lol

2F - thanks for your thoughts! and a "cager" is a distainful word for someone who only drives cars, who doesn't ride at all ("cage" as in being surrounded by steel, in a cage ) And us riders don't qualify as being "cagers" even when we are using our cars, because we know what the dangers to riders are, from cars, and are careful. "Cagers" don't even see bikers...like the one who turned right into me

Bras - I feel sexier wearing a pretty bra than none at all! of course, gravity and being almost 45 are things that makes it better that I wear one

I haven't been on my bike since last Thursday!! It's been rainy and gloomy and raw (50's day). Today is still over cast but not drippy, I might break out the heat packets for my gloves and just get out to help clear my head Just being out for a bit and hearing my awesome Vance & Hines Cruzers always helps my mood

Hey, this is good news. We are still in the first house we bought, and we were able to get FMHA financing. Relatively low monthly payments, but for 30 years at 11% We were able to refinance the mortgage, plus consolidate our considerable credit card debt (thanks, DH) at a smidge over 5%, for 12 years, for a payment that is only $100 over the previous mortgage payment! So I will be making payments towards the principal also since we can easily afford that now. AND make sure that DH does NOT get bck into the habit of charging stuff that doesn't get paid off right away.

hugs to everyone!

Cager - I see, I like it!

Glad you're getting your cash sorted. I still have £3000 to pay off in student overdrafts. That doesn't even include the student loan repayments! Thankfully the O/D are interest free for a while!

Riding all the time. Do have the option of getting a car (3 wheeler) in the near future but if the mild weather holds out I'm not too bothered. I just don't like the rain! I fell off in the rain and now I'm a bit warey!

Recovering from a major sugar crash at the moment! bad sugar!

Hydration hydration hydration, how I love you, but you annoy me by making me travel across the office so often!

Holly - Ditto about feeling sexier wearing a pretty bra - it sucks getting old...lol
Thanks for the 'cagers' definition - I didn't know what that was for sure but guessed right anyhow.....
About credit cards, we are currently paying off a balance we rolled over from credit card went too high...lol Our payments were $885 per month to get it gone in the zero interest period, we still have Oct and Nov then it will be gone - THANK GOD.....that was like another house payment.....never again will we use credit cards like that....

Star try measuring your breast at the largest area around you and that should be your size around or close to it. Worked great when I had to buy twins first bras. You just have to kind of guess work on the cup size but I would imagine if you have been a D you would stick with that. I am not sure how well this works for everyone but the gal at the department store was the one that told me how to do it and said in most cases you get the best fit like that.

Well the snow is gone today but cold high of 45 today. I guess better than yesterday. Everything is very wet still. There are many homes and business without electric today from trees falling on the power lines yesterday. I noticed several schools closed due to no power as I was on my out this morning. Fall storms are tuff because all the leaves still on the trees makes them so heavy when we start to get that wet snow. Thank goodness it didn't snow too long.

2frust give it your all in lacrosse if you keep going you'll improve and then someone else will come along that isn't so great. Just have fun with it! I can not believe how active you are. That is so great!

Vmom It is always great to get your finances in order! Congrats to you. I haven't been on my scoot for 2 weeks so I know what your going through. Just want to get the wind in my face. No other feeling like it! Makes you forget all your troubles and just enjoy life.

hatchick lucky you living in a warmer state. Enjoy it and ride for me this week! I can't complain too much as I love the change of season's and would miss that for warm weather year around. Fall is my favorite time of year then spring. One snow storm isn't going to depress me yet! We still have a good few weeks before it stays cold.

Rebel Hope your having a good one and dh is doing better!

Take care all keep the wind in your face and stay upright!

Morning ladies!

I have missed out on lots of interesting topics in the last few days!

Trina- I am so glad that the colonoscopy went so well...we anxious for you, also.

Holly- So glad to see that you posted! Sorry that things with Dh aren't improving...

Harley-Wow, can't believe you all have snow already! Is this early for you guys or normal?

2frust-That stinks about lacrosse. Takes all the fun out of it if you never get a turn!

My weekend went pretty well. I got a bad cold and mostly just stayed on the couch in my pajamas. I still feel congested and yucky, much getting better. Dh really seems to be slimming down lately, I wish I could say the same. I am still at my weight, no changes. Grrr...

I think that I am getting bored of South Beach...

Plus, I'm not drinking as much water as I should and other than walking with him I haven't gotten back into my exercise routine.

I havent pigged out really or anything like that...I'm just 100% following South Beach. I'm enjoying low fat oatmeal, cereal and soups.

Be back later girls

Hugs.

2 frust - give the lacrosse some time ...pretty soon you'll be stealing the ball.....
Star - so glad to hear everything went well.
Harley - sounds like I'm in charge of riding for everyone when it gets cold everywhere else. Well, me and 2 frust I'm game...it's chilly in the morning but worth it for the ride home. I find myself going the long way...
Rebel - not too familiar with south beach - are there at least different stages with different types of food...maybe switch to another stage? Bored is no fun - it makes me cheat...
Holly - I like the cager term...I'm gonna have to use it.
