Oh man am i happy! I'm almost breaking the 160 mark!! WOO HOO!!

Jill- I second the thanks for that peroxide tip! Very awesome!

NewFannie- So the baby''s 5 almost 6 months old? My youngest has JUST turned 2 and I can't remember when she was that small.. LOL! Good thing we took some pictures, or I'd think she came out walking and talking and running around the house with one end of the toilet paper roll! ROFL!

Holly- You're a baker? I would never get under 350 if that was my job!!!

Yup, I can't wait, either. I'm starting to think God's teasing me with the weather because it's only awesome when I have the kids! ARRRG!

Hubby keeps trying to convince me to stay in, but that's because he's always had the first ride of the season for the last 6 years and he doesn't want to lose his streak! LOL!!

Well girls, I'm off again for now! Going to go check the weather report.. maybe I'll get out this afternoon when DH gets home.

WoooHooo 160 is right! YAY for You! That's where I really want to be. But right now I'll settle for breaking 170 again since I totally blew that deal on my cruise!

Yes...the peroxide trick really doea work. It's the best beauty tip in the Universe

OH! Almost totally forgot to tell you guys again! You reminded me talking about your kids, SuGyong. We booked plane tickets to see our daughter and her family in June. YAY! We fly out of Orlando to Cody, Wyoming on June 12th to spend our grandson's 5th birthday with him and we'll be there Father's Day too! Our granddaughter turns 3 next week, but we'll have to celebrate with her in June. She just decided to go on the potty this week (we call her "Attitude-nal") so of course our daughter is thrilled! Should be a fun trip....our son-in-law will be on vacation that week.

Hey chicks!

thanks for telling us, haeyu! That is a great goal to look forward to.

Hey Jill! thanks for the encouragement I came real close to caving and having something evil at work -- eeek!! but I managed to overcome it. Probably 'cause my teeth are acting sensitive due to the bleaching ( <----Holly's white teeth) LOL!

I rested my upper bod today, and did one of Gilad's lower body videos, and a half hour of step aerobics. Tomorrow back to Curves. I've gone 17 times this month! I know they only recomment 4X's a week, but it's good for me to get out there every day that i can.

hang in there chicks!! keep our goals in mind!

I started using Sensodyne toothpaste when I started keeping my teeth white. It works! (another beauty tip from the old gal of the group)

Default new here

I'm new here , but my DH and I love to ride. We have aways had bikes and so have the kids mostly Hondas. Last year we had a mid-life crissis and on our 25th. anniversary bought HD heritage. We love it, have gone to a few rallies, and rides and it's a lot of fun. MY goal was if I got to 155# I'd start looking for my own, but the closer that gets, I'm rethinking I love to ride with hubby and than I'd have to pay more attention, and last year 2 friends hit deer and lived to tell about it and that scares me. thank for listening ,ride free!!

Hey Christa! Glad you found us! I too love to ride behind my hubby.....I have also thought of getting my own bike, but it's so much fun to be able to talk about the journey and the things we see along the way, that I don't think I'd enjoy the ride as much on my own bike.

Hope you're all out there enjoying the day!

All RIGHT!! I got out Thurs night! Hubby kept trying to talk me out of it. I asked him if it was because he's had the first ride of the season for 5 yrs running... "Maybe...." ROFL!!

I came back, exhilarated and full of adrenaline, kids were in bed... we had a good night.

I love to ride behind the hubby, but I am enjoying learning to ride my own. We have two different styles and things we like. I like the cruiser bikes, thus mine is a '97 Yamaha Virago XV750. He likes the sport bikes, his is an '86 Yamaha FJ1200. When I want I leisurely ride, my bike is the one I want to be on, but when I really want to just run then being behind him on his is where I want.

I've told him you can compare the difference to sex. Mine is for slow, sweet love making and his is for just getting down to business.

YAY SuG for getting out there and beating hubby to the punch It is wonderful you were able to, and I hope it's just the beginning of good weather and lots of riding for all of you!

Wannab...you are so funny! I sure can see the similarities tho!

Today is a poker run for our HOG group....should be a big turn out since it's our "keynote" ride. That means we'll keep the money within the club for our fun and expenses instead of donating it to a charity like we usually do. We do a lot of Habitat for Humanity and AngelFlight charity runs during the year. The weather has been F-I-N-E....dry and in the 80's w/ low 60's at night. The orange blossoms are in bloom in our yard and all over the place, so the scent is everywhere. It's so sweet and beautiful!

Later, Chicks! Hope you're OUT THERE this weekend!

Hello everyone.
Way to go SuGyong!!! Congrats on the breakthrough
Just a little note....I don't have any children (yet). Did you mean to reply to someone else? Sorry. But you sure are lucky to have them!!

Well, DH is coming to see me from AZ on the mc. He is leaving tomorrow. FYI - we are moving to MO. He is staying behind to sell our house, but I had to move to take a job. I haven't seen him in 2 months! Hopefully the weather will be nice for us to go on a ride. Say little prayers for a safe 1600mile journey!! Makes me nervous him being alone out there. But as he always says, "you're never alone on a motorcycle." At least the weather looks nice for his trip out. Sunny or cloudy 60-70s. Should be little rain (hopefully none while riding). It can rain when he gets to his hotel!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Kerri

Hey all took me a while to catch up on everything. I was out on spring break so I've been MIA from the computer for over a week. Had a great time off. Did some spring cleaning and some shopping and some riding. We have had the whole spring weather thing here. Snow to almost 70's. Gotta love that. All the snow is melted and the spring flowers are starting to bloom. I love this time of year!

Welcome newfannie and Christa! Always love to have new biker babes on the forum.

I have been doing awful on the whole weight thing. I haven't been on the scale in two weeks and feel like awful and fat right now. I have been eatting out of control. I am not sure what is wrong with me but it is time to get back on track. Spring is here and it is time to loss this weight!

Take care all and keep on keep'n on!

Welcome Christa and Kerri! Kerri, did your DH make it with no troubles? I sure hope so.

hey everyone! Jill, thanks for the tip about the Sensodyne. I should try that. Your description of the orange blossoms is wonderful!

Harleymom, hey, I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling too motivated; you always got ME going with your 'keep on keepin' on' slogan, so I pass it back to you! SueG, way kewl that you've gotten out on the bike!!

My husband got his out last weekend; it was not even 30 degrees when he left in the mornings, but it warmed up to almost 50 on both days. I haven't gotten mine out. It is still too muddy/icy/rutty in front of our garage; husband could have helped me, but ....I'm just not comfortable taking it out when it's 1. Stilll too cold for me! and 2. The roads have just too much sand/gravel/grit/crud on them.

We had two days of rain which was GREAT - helped melt alot of snow, and washed alot of the aforementioned crud off - but this morning we have and inch of new snow and might get another 6" today or tomorrow

I am trying to think positively about this and say to myself ' well this gives me a few more days/weeks of getting my bod smaller to fit into my leathers

I had a terrible eating day yesterday...don't even ask what I had! Hopefully those cravings for sugar/sweet/cakey are out of my system.

I have been faithfully keeping up with the exercise, yay, and get measured/weighed at Curves early next week. THAT should be my focus on clean eating for this week!!!

have a great day chicks!!!
