In the midst of my whining, there is a voice of reason....it's Kayla thanks for the reality kick!

Jill, sigh, I WISH I could ride...we are in the middle of yet another snowstorm...we might get lucky and ONLY get 2-6" as opposed to the possible 6-10"!! It's hard to keep optimistic.

Hi 2frust! I clicked on the first link - i LIKE that laceup jacket in 'grey' tho it really looked black...how much is 269 pounds in American dollars? just curious.

Hi to everyone else!

One of the employees at Curves told me to really, really eat something for breakfast to get my metabolism going. Usually I'm up at 6:00-ish, and just have coffee before going to work out. Then eat yogurt or eggs around 9:30. But I'll try it their way. I did have yogurt and Kashi before i worked out today, I just can't eat it too soon before I work out cause then I feel like barfing.

bye for now

Well all it sounds like everyone is trying to keep going and start doing better. Kayla I like the idea of looking at it in small parts. That keeps us on track a little easier. Kayla congrats on the jaw drop. Love that!

It is cold and a little snow today. No motorcycle riding here. You lucky person Jill! Take a call ride for all of us still winter bound chicks!

Holly be proud of your loss on the inches. You gained muscle and lost fat I am sure! You go girl, don't get down.

Well all you hot biker babes have a great weekend and Keep on Keep'n on!

YES Kayla, congrats on the friend calling you a *%$#@ for looking so good! Yay to you!!

Hi Harleymom! sorry to hear of the snow. Bleh bleh bleh!!!!!

Jill, oh my, you are the smart one, living where you do and being able to ride hundreds of miles with your friends MMmm, what flavor ice cream was your dinner?

I had a great on-track day. NO stupid cookies at work or anything bad.

There was a woman at Curves today, who had her one month measuring/weighing. She lost no pounds, but did lose 15 INCHES. Wow!!!! we all congratulated her. I am determined to have a much better result for myself in a month. I WILL be on the wall with my name and inches/pounds lost!

Ahem...does anyone here have a belly ring? I had mine pierced back in July. It's fully healed now, but I dont' know how to remove the starter ring to put in something else...duh!

Hi to everyone else!

Blabbermouth. That's funny, Holly!

Oh, not only did I just have ice cream for dinner....I went all the way with a KitKat Blizzard. Use your imagination on that one, Chicks....it was incredible; my 2 favorites...ice cream and Kit Kat bars all whipped up into one dreamy dinner!!!

Hey Ladies

flsun-- you had a kitkat blizzard, I won't fault you. I will confess I had a Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper from Sonic. Man, I love those. Oh well, we all get to slip every now and then

Not much to tell about this weekend. Nothing going on here. Can't ride it's raining, again. Wish spring would get here and stay so I can learn to ride my bike.

Hey all. The snow missed us! It was a nice weekend. I didn't get to ride. I went over to Son's new place a painted on Saturday and went to volleyball for daughters tournament on Sunday. They grow up and still keep you busy every day.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Keep on Keep'n on!

Hey chicks, guess what...I RODE YESTERDAY AND TODAY!!!Oh, it feels so great!! And the sun is shining (what IS that bright thing in the sky?!?) and blue sky (what, it isn't ALWAYS gray and filled with swirling snow?!?) and the temps are in the high 50's (ABOVE zero!!) Can you tell I'm ready for it

I rode to my mechanic and set up an appt. for a pre-season going-over. I know it's all stuff I should do myself, but heck, I'm happy to pay someone to do it. Oil change, check fluids, tire pressure, etc. He'll do it Monday.

Still going to Curves 6X's a week, and giving it all I've got. Alot of the ladies there are having fun chatting with each other. I get So sweaty and red-faced that I think I discourage them from trying to talk to me But I figure I'll only get out of it what I put into it, so I'm hitting it hard. Maybe I'll be more psyched at some more loss next measuring time (early next month).

Had a totally bad evening of the hungries last night, so I'm back on track today.

Harleymom, SO glad the snow missed you! Jill, YUM to a KitKat Blizzard-y thing! Wannabe, I'll do the sunshine dance for you. What kind of bike do you have? I'm sure you told us but I sometimes get that CRS disease

Yippeee for riding. It feels so good after a long time. It is the best thing and it makes it sweeter when you've not been able to go for a long while.

Have a great day and enjoy the sun shine. Keep on Keep'n on all!

it's been (knock on wood) spriong for three days now! Sun, warm weather, we even had a picnic yesterday.

Unfortunately, my husband and I are in the middle of martial arts giant tournament psycho training. That means paperwork, some sewing and lots and lots of treadmille weight lifting time! Doing all of our normal stuff with that on top is C-R-A-Z-Y!! But we've got only 2 weeks until the big tournament and then we can sit back and say "aaahhh!"

Have to go- kids are yelling at me for breakfast. I'm 164 today. Bleh. I want to get into the 150's again!!

good morning!! YAY to spring!!! Also warm (70's) here! it feels SO good.

SueG, is it you and your husband that compete? or your kids? do tell

Hi to everyone! My bike has to go in today for a spring going-over, oil change, checking vitals, etc. So I'll ride it there; then walk to my husband's work (less than a mile away), then take his bike (Kawa 1500 Vulcan) to work, and he will pick up my bike when it's done. It's nice to have multiple bikes to play with Also very convenient 'cause the brakes went on my Geo! Not when I was driving, but the brake fluid keeps leaking out of the reservoir and the brakes feel real mushy. Not good.

I think I'm down to 164 now, but who knows with the wild fluctuations I have. I'll wait and see what Curves says early next month.

have a great day and ride if you can!! OH and i had my first cager try to pull out right in front of me!! I was able to yell at him, I KNOW YOU!! 'cause I recognized him as a customer. I am going to YELL at him the next time he's in the store!
