I LOVE you in the dress on the right....sparkley (like you!), young & sexy!

Had fun last evening....it was warm & balmy, so we rode to dinner and out and about for a while. Fell off my Plan.....we went to the local Japanese resturant and I couldn't resist those noodles! Ate waaaaaay toooooooo many. Will stick to Plan today.....MUST get back on track!!

I'm back from camping!!! It was supposed to rain - but it didn't - at all!!!! It was hella fun - the ride was beautiful....the whole weekend was GREAT! Anyhow - I missed one workout day....I don't think the beer bungie counts....they had a bunch of inner tubes tied together - you put the tire on the end around your waist and stretch the bungie to get to the beer. If you make it and drink some beer you get to go to the next round. I barely made it to the second round - they move the keg back each round...I could have done better if I weighed more...but I can't say I'm too upset about losing on those terms. Still debating if I can remember enough to try logging what I ate last night.... Oh well...I kicked butt in the gym today....The elliptical was still smoking after I did my cooldown.

Kathy - if a long workout is too much to talk yourself into - try telling yourself to just get on the gazelle for 10 minutes - once you get going.....it works for me, anyway. Yes, I lie to myself all the time (what's more - I fall for it)...at least I use it as a force of good Don't make me bring out the

I'm up those 2lbs that I was down last week. Damn sickness and eating too much! Let me explain... I didn't eat much one day, because I had tummy pains, then when they'd gone the next day I ate everything in sight! I tried to be good the day after, but we went out for dinner But I was an the rest of the day.

Never mind, I must just get in the groove again. I don't feel like it, but I'm faking it and lying to myself that I can have a cookie if I go for a run!

Thank you everyone for the support It's funny how we have so many people on our side, but when it comes down to it, we are our own worst enemy.

This weekend was tiring! I walked the dogs on friday night. Crap, I have pics of the walk I take and I was going to post them here, but I forgot to load them on my smugmug account so I'll do that tonight. I live next to a canyon and the city has done a great job of putting in walking paths along the canyon rim. There's this one path that starts half way down the canyon by a waterfall and goes up to the top and then along the rim for a bit. This is a tough one to walk! By the end the dogs and myself are exhausted. But, I did notice that it's getting a little easier.
Saturday after work hubby and I installed rain gutters along our house so I spent 6 hours on the roof. That sucked. We went out to eat afterwards and I ordered a grilled chicken breast and steamed veggies and skipped the dessert!
Yesterday I went to the gym - it was leg/back/bicep day. Then spent another 2 hours on the roof. I hate home improvement.

Gina, your camping trip sounds like it was a blast! I'll try the lying thing and see if it works, I don't want you coming after me

Hey all! It is Monday for sure! Had a great weekend. Went and scrap booked with my girlfriend all weekend. Sunday afternoon I got my Harley out and got to ride for the first time in months. I was so happy just to be in the wind! What a rush to ride again. I love it so much.

2Frus love the sparkly dress to right also. It seemed to show off your assets well if you get my drift. It is a very sexy dress. I love the sleveless with high neck. Good luck on finding just the right one for you! I also liked the one you bought on ebay.

Jill get your rear moving! You can do this. Talk yourself into it. I have to do it everyday. I won't excersise if I don't.

Hello everyone!

Looks like you all are doing pretty great!

This weekend went so super quick, but it was good! I actually got my bike out and rode around the neighborhood. We also went out on our bike yesterday for a nice ride around town. I am loving the saddlebags! We went to pick up dinner yesterday at Subway while we were on the bike and everything fit in the bags perfectly.

My friend and I decided to start the Couch to 5K program yesterday. We did it around the high school track in very strong wind. Oh my god! I am out of shape!!! My legs are so sore today, but I'm sure that as time goes I'll get better. I did feel so good and accomplished after I was done. I have decided to really kick the exercise into gear this week. I have done pretty good the past 2 weeks with my eating and now with a friend to jog/walk with I have the I need to get myself going! I'm not losing too fast, which is a little frustrating, but it will eventually come off if I stick to it. I am really liking Weight Watchers. I can actually eat cookies! In moderation, of course!

2fru- Glad that you're back to your usual self! I also vote on the dress on the right. You look so lovely in it!

Did anyone watch the "We're killing our kids" show on TLC last night? I find it fascinating how some people live. The family ate 40% fried food, and the kids would watch TV for 6 hours a day. Makes me want to get out more with my kids.

Yes...have seen the previews of the We're Killing our Kids show on TLC....Man should THAT be a wake-up call for those families and anyone else watching who lives the Fast-Food lifestyle! I think the only reason I'm not bigger than I am, is that back in the Dark Ages when I was growing up, we didn't really HAVE fast food!!! There were a couple of places, but it was a long-in-between treat to get to go to them.....not a daily habit.

I have not seen the TLC show but I have seen commercials, looks interesting. I work in a high school and I gotta tell you I don't remember kids being as fat as they are now back when I was going to school. I would say 50% or more are over weight. It is so sad. The kids don't get moving, as gym is not required any longer. My daughters have not had gym sense 5th grade. Plus all the fast food they eat. They even offer it in the school lunch menu. We never even ate out when I was growing up. My mother cooked every night. Man Americans are going to be having heart attacks younger and younger if we keep this up!

Well, today is my 2nd day of the Couch to 5k program. It beat the **** out of me the other day. It is so windy here that I think it makes it so much tougher. Of course I am really out of shape, too. My workout friend is probably 70 pounds thinner than me and in better shape, but it still makes it good to have a buddy!
