Onederchic-- I'll look at in fortunately as you are taking care of yourself!
i completely agree!!! definately fortunately!!! loads of people would kill to be in your position. you enjoy it !!! and you have the most important job, getting healthier! and you make such a difference in other peoples lives by your encouragement!
I did 45 minutes today on my stationary bike, I cut back from 110 minutes as I was told I was overtraining. I was getting ammonia smelling sweat. But tomorrow I will try what they suggested, which is two 45 minute sessions a day, so I don't stress my body.
WOW you used to do 110minutes. that;s amazing.
that's a really good idea doing 2 - 45 minute sessions. you are a machine!
Thank you! This thread is a great idea it's inspiring.
hehe you're welcome!
i know, you're so right - this thread really inspires me to do some exercise no matter what it is or for however long, just so i can post on here! hehehehe
ps well done on your 95 pound lost, that's really impressive!
Congratulations to everyone on the thread- I just joined and it's good to know that I have support coming from every direction!
I signed myself up for a half marathon in February!!
I know I have to be able to do it when that time comes so now, even if I don't want to "exercise", I do have to "train"! I bought new running shoes and a few cute workout outfits and now I absolutely love to work out. I'm only up to 3 miles at a time... and I run/walk them... but it's still better than I have in a long time!
I think giving myself a goal (aside from JUST weight loss) has really helped.
You are all inspirational... just wanted to share my story.

Thank you I started last September, so 95 pounds in a little under a year is about 2 pounds a week, but I am glad I did it that way, as I am very blessed no saggy skin because I did it slowly. The only thing I can complain about is smaller breasts, I went from 40DD to a 36C.
What did it for me, was a photo that was taken of me at work, I was like who the **** is that FAT CHICK? But it was me yikes! I was in self denial, but that photo was the proof I needed, I was FAT! I said to myself never again will I abuse my body and I bought the book "You on a Diet" and I also use to follow Jillian Michaels advice from her radio show, which is off the air now. But my will power came from that horrible photo, and still does. Thanks again for starting this life affirming thread.

welcome!! nice to have you join us! and that's so awesome you signed up half a marathon, and i agree, sometimes thinking of training rather than exercise, is more motivational. and cute outfits always help me too! hehe
