LE ~ First of all, you did pretty good on that quiz. Some of those guys have known me for years and didn't get as many right as you did. Anywho, you hang in there and at least you are back OP. Just remember if you do make a poor food choice, don't sweat it and just make your next one a good one. You can do this! I do hope things slow down for you though. I'm sure that will help!

LaurenA ~ Cool beans! Way to go on that pound biting the dust. Keep going!

After being mortified by the scale yesterday morning, I have a POP day yesterday and it is showing today. I am still up, but not by too much. I need to be stronger on the weekends. I don't know what it is about those days but everything just goes out the window. I will work on that. Considering the past two weeks there is no way I will make goal this month, but that's okay. I started my journey not too long ago and when I made the goal I was losing crazy amounts since I had just started, and I planned on it continuing. So considering everything, I'm just gonna keep on going and see where I get, but when it is the end of the month, if I don't have the goal accomplished it is okay. I am still learning how to set proper goals without aiming too high.

I don't know how much I am going to be around. The internet around here has been crap, just completely gone, for no reason, and it can be for an hour or a whole day. Very lame. I haven't been able to really get on since friday so I am way behind, sorry ladies.

Last week as a reward for making it into the 280s I decided to buy myself a new bra, the enelle "no bounce" since it would encourage me to workout without getting knocked out. It arrived yesterday and it didn't fit.. it was too big. That is a new experience for me. So anyway, I was sad that I didn't get to wear it and am now trying to get a hold of someone to exchange or something.

Delphi- Sorry to hear about the swelling, but way to keep a positive mentality! You have an amazing personality that shows through and brightens my day.

CM4- Congratulations!!

LaurenA- Yay! Good job!

Well, the latest posts have been very entertaining. A good morning wake-up read.
Newshinyme- CONGRATS on 30 LBS gone!!Here's a quickish version of the weekend without TMI. Friday we went to this awesome drive-in burger joint which was SO fun since I'd never been to one. Then we got to the hotel, checked-in and went to the outlet mall for 3+ hours and got stuff for everyone, but mostly work clothes for DH (ties, dress shirts, pants). Went to supper, then back to the hotel and watched Speed Racer (we had never seen it) on HBO, went swimming, back to the room had mimosas in our jacuzzi tub, had a funny incident after adding too much bubble bath to the tub and turned on the jets...hilarious!! Saturday we had breakfast, watched Kung Fu Panda on HBO (yes, we are children at heart!) and went back to the outlets this time spent $ mostly on me for bras! LOL Then we ate lunch, went to "Up" at the cinema, and headed for home. It was really an awesome couple days of QT for DH and I. We laughed a lot and enjoyed every minute!

Laura-Way to go on the 1 pound down!

Delphi-You are so right! I would NEVER want to see anyone doing those activities naked!! I can see weighing naked to get the consistency, but the activities...uh uh. Too much shakin' going on! LOL Oh, and thanks for the info on water intake. I am a gulper especially if/when I get thirsty, so I need to do it in smaller amounts throughout the day. Good to know.

CMof4-Oh my gosh! My kids would LOVE to watch an egg hatch. How fun! Those are the things kids remember. Have fun cleaning you house. I am on laundry catch-up today. Wish me luck!

FSA-Thanks for that reminder to do my chest presses. The "girls" are still decent size-wise, but not firming as much as I'd like. As CMof4 said, it could be nursing 3 kids...there may not be a lot of hope for perkiness!! LOL

Velveteen-Congrats on continued progress and the fun trip. I love travel but we pretty much just travel in the US. In a few weeks we're having a big family get-together in Branson, Missourri (a 13 hour drive for us). I can't wait!

Lewis-Good to hear from ya. I'm praying for this week to get you back on track! Just enjoy those yummy mulberries (one of my favorite candle scents, btw) and keep on truckin'.

Not much other news here. Been OP since home from the weekend and I'm about to go get my exercise in. Have a great day, ladies!

Hello again ladies! Not long after I posted the boys ran up to check on Eggbert...we have a duckling!!! He had hatched while they were eating breakfast, so they missed the whole thing. However, they are quite thrilled with having a baby duck in the house. I'm making them leave him alone so he can get some rest--poor thing is tuckered out!

I left a message with a wildlife rehab center and am just waiting to hear back. It's pouring rain now so hopefully I'll hear back after if stops and I can go drop him off there. Of course, I hope that it's not for a little while yet, I'd like to get some pics of him all nice and dry and fluffy.

I'll post pics later--it's been a crazy morning and I won't get a chance to download them until later (plus I hope to add a couple more of him a little less 'fresh from the egg' ).

Have a great day ladies! I'll be back later with more personals too!

Yes, NSM congrats on 30lbs lost!!

Delphi - my day is nearly over here, but so far completely OP and lots of water. I'm working from home today which normally means a more loose plan, but I definitely want to stick to my max points today as I have a planned day off from exercise. Glad you got your workout in!!

CMOf4 - thanks for the vote of confidence! I dunno... 3KG is quite a lot (it's roughly 7 lbs), but I've got half the month still so who knows!! And at least I was not totally off plan in Berlin - we had stayed in a studio apartment so my breakfasts and lunches were pretty controlled. Still got my fruit and veg in and man we did a lot of exercise! Congrats on your weight loss!! Fantastic! and wow! a duck in the house! my cats would love that!

Lauren, congrats on weigh in!! Awesome!

LewisEmpire - come on girl, just pick it up and start over this very moment. And don't let TOM get you down, that's temporary!! The number on the scale is only ONE indication of how you are doing, so do something else for the moment! you CAN!

Gekster - WOW that the bra you ordered was too big! I also have never experienced that! I love your screenname by the way ... if I translate it in Dutch it's "crazy star" You know, most of us have weekend issues - if you know it, then PLAN for it. I'm telling you... I am actually having a blast planning ahead and then playing a little game with myself to fit in as much "fun" stuff possible in my food plan in the weekend and still staying OP. It's only Tuesday... what do you have coming up next weekend? Can you already start to plan for it?

Ms.P - thanks! and 13 hours is a pretty good trip I'd say! We normally stay "on the continent", and go to Germany a lot since we are so close. I love going away for long weekends, and practicaly live to travel! Enjoy your exercise!

so, can you chicks believe it??? I'm posting AND doing personal replies!!

Velveteen ~ Ya personals. At times it can be quite hard to keep up with this thread. It just moves soooo fast. And for staying POP. Good for you!

Sandye ~ Awe sorry you guys missed it. Can't wait to see those pics!

MsP
~ No problem. I'm a gulper to, so it was definitely good to know. Enjoy the exercise.

Gekster
~ Ah shucks..thanks. I think you rewarding yourself was a great idea. Too bad it didn't fit, but then again, IT WAS TOO BIG. That would have made my day as well. You are doing something right kiddo. Keep it up!

Alright ladies, I know I said I would do progress pics once I hit Onederland. But for some reason I can't wait. So here they are...and no laughing at my SCARY before pics either. The "today" picture was taken right after my cardio this morning so I'm all red and sweaty, so please disregard.

Good morning and happy Tuesday!

Glutio - that really sounds like walking through dietary landmines, at least it doesn't happen every day but good for you being mindful the whole time. I'm sure you're all filled with salt too after BBQ food, I'll send you some 276 vibes. I`m a firm believer in Benefibre in my morning coffee now, it`s crazy when you drink your weigh in water everyday, eat more fiber than should be legal and still! The Benefibre has been my saving grace, no issues at all with that now.

Lauren - Super congrats on the pound! Nice for the first weigh in for the body to cooperate after all your hard work.

Nellonello - It`s going to be something pretty fantastic when you get all the journalling and things together if you`re managing this well without, good for you and continued success chickie.

FSA - First, can I please borrow some of your memory, it appears the birth of my child has removed a portion of my brain that stores anything for longer than two seconds. That cruise thing would be frickin` hilarious, no one would eat or work out because everyone would be chattin, oh but what fun it would be.

MsP - for the ladies, it`s always them first. You never hear anyone say, wow my sandlbags are like totally gone and everything else hasn`t even changed. But congrats on the weighing less regardless!

Lekhika - look forward to getting to know you.

CMo4 - I`m with Delphi that egg would have been on the floor let alone a little shakin up. on the big 30!

Blondie32 - scale or no scale my dear you are the hotness, very nice picture!

Delphi - Ok, after I read that I was like, really, drink half my body weight, are they on crack! Then I read it again and now it`s all good My scale has also being stubborn this week. I figure with the amount of exercise we do there is no way it won`t cooperate sooner or later too. And I thought everyone had played naked twister, that was almost it`s own class university, that and beer pong or that after beer pong, I can`t remember. Those pics are remarkable, WTG and holy crap you`re tall, or statuesque I believe would be the better term, good on ya chickie, lookin smokin

NSM - on thirty pounds that`s frickinfantastic! and ya that ceiling stuck with us a long time too

Velveteen - welcome back and what fun, Berlin, that`s pretty awesome you lost anyway and wtg on the 15lbs!

LE - welcome back! sending you some postive vibes and some peace and quiet too just for good measure. Oh and you may have missed it, we decided to kill TOM because none of us like him anyway so he should be gone shortly.

Hope that`s everyone!

For me I`ve caught Delphi`s stubborn scale but it will be banished shortly, I`m afraid fat doesn`t stand a chance in this house anymore! I seem to have worken up with half a cold, just the right side of my sinuses, interesting, hopefully it will stay there and go away. I think I`ll try an hour of cardio with my nose draining everywhere, seeeexxyyy! It`s raining super hard so we`re going hold up in the house and maybe get groceries if I feel like being a drowned rat later.

It`s a new day filled with endless good choices so let`s go make some!

Tummygirl ~ We must have posted around the same time. And at beer pong to. I don't know, Naked Twister and beer pong...or just pong do not sound like a winning combo. Dang that Darth Scale. We will have to ban together and banish him forthwith. At any rate, you hang in there, we will see movement soon. The force is strong with both of us.

FullSteamAhead, I've always had issues with movements, as you said. I remember my mom getting frustrated when I was little because I'd always have to go in a restaurant and be gone for 30 minutes. I in NO WAY want to become dependent on a laxative, and it's not something I'd ever do to lose weight. It would be more something to not have to deal with 4 days of total discomfort from the inability to go to the bathroom.

Tummy Girl, I was thinking about Benefibre, too. I may check that out. Thanks!

Delphi, you have made some seriously amazing progress, girl! I wish 10 pounds looked so different for me, but maybe it will in time! Go you!

I am feeling pretty crappy today, actually. This last week has been seriously rough on my overall feelings. The as-yet-unknown health issues seem to be creeping in again to knock me down. My sleep is going back down the drain, my energy levels have tanked, the joint pain and general discomfort has increased. I couldn't even sit still last night because my knees and ankles and everything kept throbbing!! My arms keep falling asleep, and I just generally feel awful. It's the worst it's been in a few weeks, actually, and it's really hard to remember what it was like before the pain, even when it wasn't so bad yesterday. I spent most of Sunday with a headache, and it started coming back last night, too. It's just not fun!

The scale this morning, on the other hand, was back to 277.5, and my waist measurement was down 1 inch from last month! Woohoo for progress!

Glutio ~ I really think I'm down another two pounds, but the scale just isn't moving. Think I'm retaining a little..so perhaps a little over ten pounds maybe. Dunno! But thank you so much. Sorry you feel so crappy, but hey, ONE INCH that's great. You are definitely doing something right.

Tummygirl ~ Yeah, I'm a tall mutha, but I kind of like being up here. It will just be nice to actually show off my long legs when they get all lean and stuff. Exciting I tell ya.

Delphie, your pictures are not bad. You can see your progress. You are tall so you probably carry your weight good. I know what you mean about salt. I can not drink gatorade cause I swell up like a balloon.
NSM congrads on the 30lbs.

I finally got around to posting a picture. Hope you all can see who you are talking to now

Delphi!!! **** YA GIRL! What a difference!! you are half the woman you were!!!! You look great! and I was like ok, where is the red sweaty one, then I saw the "today" pic, and thought she's crazy! You look great! WTG. Who is the little one in the background? He's a cutie! I can really see a huge diff in your face too! I think I should send you a package UPS, and see if we can get that hottie back to your house!!! HAHA. Have a great day girl

I went berry picking, and weeded my garden, and weed whacked my walking bridge. The weeds were up past my head, and I couldn't get through. so now I have my walking path back, maybe that will get me moving again!
Ty all for the encouragement, it is so good to know, I have people that care, and know exactly what I am going through, You are all just great peeps!

Le ~ You are too kind. My friend that sends all my gifts via UPS said he was calling to complain and to make sure only female UPS workers come to my house to deliver packages. You do realize I don't post a lot of pictures on Facebook, because I'm so embarrassed. But one of these days, I actually not be so afraid of my body. Seriously, it's scares me sometimes. You are doing wonderfully Le and you keep coming back to be accountable, even on your off days , which is commendable indeed!

Blondie ~ Your picture is beautiful. Yes, I'm fortunate to be a tall gal and carry my weight well. This is why I always stall out at or around 190. Because, I'm comfortable with how I look clothed and do not look huge..ya know? But not this time. I'm gonna get all sexy, in clothes and without em. Oh and thanks.

Velveteen ~ Ah shucks, thank you sooo very, very much. I've seen all your blog pics girly, you are FOXY too.

Once again I feel the need to have a "I'm gonna cry moment." with you ladies. Because, I wouldn't have come so far, in such a short period of time if it wasn't for the support of YOU gals. These threads are EXACTLY what I needed to hold me accountable. Not only do I want to get fit and be healthy for my children and myself. But I want to make you ladies proud. I want you guys to know, that every piece of advice, every kind word, every laugh, every smile brightens my days and encourages me to be the woman I should be and to release not only my inner beauty but the knock out underneath. I know I probably could have taken this journey on my own, but not sure if I would be pushing myself so hard if not for you gals. Each and every one of you have a special place in my heart and I HOPE you all realize just what phenomenal people you are. That words are not just words...to some of us, your words carry much weight and can turn a very bad day into a much better one. So big hugs to all of you and I can simply not thank you all enough, for giving me my life back and enriching my life in the manner that you have. 's

Ok, I think I'm gonna go cry a little.

Sweet pics, Delphi! I agree with glutio. I WISH 10 pound made that kinda difference on my bod, but alas...I will forever be vertically challenged. Very cool, though.
I've put some thought into before and after pics when I reach 40 pounds, but I defintely will at 50.
