Sandye ~ Still have yet to clean my fridge. I'm gonna get to it, but I had to go try on clothes real quick. Last month I put all my "skinny" clothes back in my closet, so I was trying things on, just to see where I was. But back to cleaning... I will clean the fridge. I will clean the fridge. I must do it. Looks awful. Ok, I'm gonna do it this time...

Gekster ~ Hehe, I always want to write dexter, when I go to write your screen name. Anywho, hey good luck with the weekend. I KNOW you can stay OP. You CAN do this girlfriend. Believe in yourself.

I am down 2 lbs!! I wasn't expecting that at all after having just lost 2 lbs! I must have been holding some serious water weight! I'm pretty sure with only 12 days left (counting today) and TOM coming up at the end of the month, I won't be able to reach my 10 lb goal, but I am thrilled that I've lost 5 lbs! I would love to lose 2 more to meet one of my mini-goals or even better 3 more to get into the 170s! I decided also to take my measurements and they are down from last month, now at 41 1/2--31 1/2--42 1/2! I can't wait to get into the 30s-20s-30s!

Delphi, Amen and on the lb down! I swear I've never seen anyone lose weight like you do! And the thing is, you're doing all the right things! It's SO great! I did end up going with the health rider and perhaps you were right that my body needed a change of pace because I lost weight! Of course, hours of cleaning house yesterday probably helped!

CMof4, big dogs can intimidate grown adults, nevertheless children! Mastiffs are called gentle giants because of their reputation with kids, but the thing about mastiffs is that they are "leaners." They always want to be leaning up against you whether you are sitting or standing, and they could easily knock a child over, not meaning to. And that would definitely be scary for any child not used to big dogs. I will say they are great on the floor though, lol! Kids can climb all over them and they won't even react. My kids used to watch tv while lying on the floor and using our dog as a pillow, lol! I'm glad your son no longer has a fear of small dogs and that you are going to be able to get one. I've always been a big dog person, but I visited a neighbor recently who has a miniature doberman, and it was the cutest thing! Only the size of a chihuahua, I thought it would have a nervous personality and would be the type to nip at you, but it was very friendly and sweet, and so dainty with its tiny little paws, lol! My dog's head is bigger than that whole dog! It was really cute!

Lene, most definitely, my dogs think they are lap dogs, lol! I cannot believe you spent $14.73 at the grocery on a $126 purchase!! I've heard about people like you, but then I've heard of unicorns and fairies too but never actually believed they existed, lol! That's incredible!! I'm elated if I can save $30 on my bill with coupons! Great job!!

Looking, I'm so glad you made it through without overeating! Great job!!

Glutio, I hope you find some answers soon!

Joci, Congrats on the lb down! That is some workout you have there!! BTW, is your bootcamp still going on? How is your daughter getting along with it?

Gekster, congrats to you also for being a lb down!! Wow! It so great to see so many people losing on this thread!

Good morning everyone. Feeling mostly better today although MAJORLY exhausted. I was ok when I got up to get my blood drawn, but felt drained completely by the time I got home to meet friends to keep their dogs for the weekend so I decided to take the day off work.

The dogs just got here, and they're freaking out that they've been abandoned. I'm going to kennel them in a few so I can take a nap and probably take them to the dog park later. I may take them on a walk around the neighborhood later, too, so that'll get me a mile in, maybe more if I do it a few times this weekend. The same friends have their pool back together, and if the chemicals get put in today, DH and I will be hanging at their house some this weekend!!

In other news, my 276.5 weigh-in on Wednesday was not a fluke! Today, the scale said 276!!!! From here on out, every pound I lose will be the lowest I've weighed in a year and a half!

It's Friday, time to coral all that willpower and get it ready for the weekend.

Jacqui - that dog is ridonkulously big, wow. I too have found mastiffs so sweet and such a beautiful dd. Hope you fit your workout in last night. WTG, 2lbs!

Crystal - ok that's good to know, I guess like anything else it just takes practice I have to go to the city later this month and will have to see if the wal-mart has it. it's nice to know that there is someone as dreadfully uncoordinated as me too on that pound, just look as the weekend as a challenge to beat instead of a thing to fear, just look it right in the face and show it who's boss.

Delphi - well you do have four great men in your life already, that's true for the pound chickie! That's wicked awesome.

Glutio - Grandma's know best! I would be she's right about the water, with that many years of life experience I bet they can smell it. I'm soo happy you got in earlier that's fantastic. Yah and another 1/2 pound bites the dust! This has been such as awesome day for losses today!

Lene - So you're a grocery shopping coupon ninja then?!? Wow! Thanks for the info, I'm so much better at endurance stuff but I really think I need to work on my power and intensity soon and that may be just the ticket, thanks. And omg you do love those kids! That movie was the worst thing I've ever sat through and we only rented it. My dd loved it though and now carries her puppy toys around in a little easter basket and has named them all Chloe. We got the Tale of Despereux last night so it was all good.

LTBH - for you! Good job, that must feel just awesome!

Jacque - Wow with the running, that's great and holy I didn't even realize you're 2 pounds away till Delphi mentioned it, how exciting, we're gonna have to have a virtual party or something.

CMo4 - cheers it's so nice to enjoy some quiet and caffeine. We did survive the movie, thanks, it's so nice she can finally sit through a movie something and understand it somewhat (she'll be 3 in July) She doesn't watch much TV (I cannot stand toddler TV, makes me crazy!) so it's a real treat for her and the only time she sits down for over an hour, ever. We're getting a dog in September after our two week vacation, we're thinking Boston Terrier or Beagle, something smaller but not toy sized. I'm with you on the not shedding too, that was the number one consideration. Before dd was born we had a rescue lab/charpe(sp?) that shed so bad, I had to vacuum every day, sometimes twice in the summer, it was insane. Good luck convincing dh, I think it's well worth it myself. Have fun with your family next week!

Beautiful day here today, very nice after our dark day yesterday. Dh is actually off work today so he'll be ko'd for the most part and trying to catch up on sleep. Poor fella has to work 16 days with one day off (today) so that we can have those six days off next week to go see his grandma and cousins. What's with all the cleaning today too? I've got the floors and bathrooms to do today too, odd? We've all syncrinized our cycles and now our cleaning schedules too.

And I believe my new workout clothes will be in today and some nice new shorts and a sundress for summer. Dh accidently pants me early this week (hey hun those pants looked a bit saggy, and yup he pulled them right off by accident) so I decided maybe it was time to get a few new pieces to tide me over and to save the world from seeing my white arse again.

Have an awesome day chickies!

Hee hee, geez I'm pathetic today about posting aren't I? Well, I figure, what better way to reward myself after cleaning a room than to take a break and check in on the chickies! Besides, after how chatty we were yesterday I don't want to fall behind!

Gekster~ congrats on the loss girlie! Have fun cleaning--I know I am! You CAN conquer the weekend! I have total faith that you will do better this weekend than last! Don't forget--YOU'RE the one in the driver's seat hun! You CAN do it and we're all behind you 110%!!

Delphi~ well, how's that fridge comin'? Oooh, closet raiding! How'd it go? Add back any pieces of clothing to your wardrobe from the skinny stash?

Jacqui~ Woo hoo on the panties girlie! 2 lbs!!! That's fanfreakin'tabulous!!! And the inches gone too?! Girl, you're on a roll! Woot!

Glutio~ glad you're feeling better today! Hope you get a great nap and that you have fun hangin' poolside this weekend!

Tummy~ 'ridonkulously' haha! I know that word! Oh you'll have to post pics of your new addition when you get him/her! Are you planning on a puppy or one that's a already housebroken? My girls will be 3 in Aug so I am right there with ya! Constantly going, going, going...it never ends! Keeping up with them is one of the reasons this weight had to come off! LOL about our cycles and cleaning schedules being the same! I wonder if being post TOM has anything to do with it?? Enjoy the day off with hubby! Poor guy, nobody should have to work that much!

Well girls, the bathrooms are done. I'm going to save the tub/shower for Sunday (I just scrubbed it last weekend so it's good) that way it's uber clean on Monday. The shower in the master bath has also been saved--but for hubby! He can contribute too right? Just have a few things left to do...mop the kitchen floor (keep putting this off--probably so I don't have to redo it before Sat), clean the downstairs windows (inside--I'll have hubby do the outside) and do/fold/put away laundry.

After that, my house will be the cleanest I think it ever has been! Funny, I'm feeling like Lene is about finally getting my life back together! Who knew that once I started focusing on getting healthy that I'd be motivated to get the house in order? Not sure if I'm brave enough to tackle FlyLady just yet (the mass emails drove me nutty) but maybe soon!

Okay girls, must make lunch for the masses! I hope you're having a wonderful day and that you're drinking your water! I've got 64oz in already--how about YOU?

Tummygirl ~ on new clothes! And ****, while I'm at it... on your white arse. You have yourself a great weekend girly and hope the weather holds for ya.

Jacqui ~ Hey you! Three 's for dropping two more pounds. Yikes, girly, you are on a roll and like you said you've lost a whopping FIVE pounds already girl. You know, I really believe this GoWearFit is 99.9% accurate. That is really the secret. Every time I have a 3500 deficit, I lose a pound. Even if I don't see it that next day. But since I've been keeping track, the pounds I've loss correlate to every 3500 calorie deficit. It's been pivotal to my weight loss.

Sandye ~ You know what. You get a shout out for just pushing me constantly. All that talk of racing and stuff this morning got me motivated and I actually cleaned my fridge, I mean REALLY cleaned it. So thanks girly! You are so awesome. I've put that fridge off for over a month and what once was a VERY full fridge, has hardly anything in it at all. Oh my gosh, it was a mess. And just cause I was so proud...I took pictures.

Thanks Sandye...I'd buy you a beer, if you drank it.

I know, I'm getting close....it's slowing down and next week will be TOM so I probably won't get there by the end of the month. But it would be nice to be there when I go to CA in July for a reunion!!!

Delphi~ You ROCK! Now you're making me want to clean my fridge! I think I'll resist the temptation though...or maybe not...we do have people bringing food tomorrow...ACK! I have so many before and after pics of different areas in my house! I went through a major purge and organize fest earlier this year--the pics are really frightening! But I'm glad I took them, it proves I worked my butt off and reminds me never to let it get that crazy ever, ever again! I'm glad I helped you to get motivated! But I gotta be honest, you motivated me too!

Jacque~ Oh I'll be sending you tons of weight loss vibes when TOM's here--I soooo want you to be at goal when you go to CA!

Lene~ Hee hee, well, next time we have a cleaning party, consider yourself invited! You know, I owe you some thanks too! It was you who mentioned flylady and the next thing I know I'm perusing that site and telling myself that if I can clean the whole house top to bottom, then I can start flylady with a clean slate. I really have been working at decluttering and organizing for a while, but it seems like only now is it really becoming a habit to keep it all nice and tidy all the time. Have fun giving blood--make sure to have a snack afterwards!!

Off to eat lunch and fold a load of laundry and then finally tackle the kitchen floor!

Hey! What's with all these cleaning races going on?
I guess the problem with being on the West Coast is that by the time I get on here your days are already half way over and I miss all the fun happening live. At any rate, I have been postponing cleaning my bathroom all week and now I will pretend I am racing you too and will get to it as soon as I log out.

I will be back when I am done!
