Hi Girlies, I have some time now, so I will be backtracking a couple of days to do some personals.

Susie: Don't get discouraged. If you keep eating right and doing your thing, the scale will eventually move. It seems like you have the right attitude this time "One day at a time" is right!...I now saw your newer post: good luck on Sunday!

dollypie: to you

nello: to you too so that you can stay away from the scale. Just think of the nice reward you'll have in a few days once you've gotten rid of all that extra water!

Ms. P: Oh your DH sounds like such a sweetie! Have fun tonight!

Tummy, Couch, Blondie, glutio, Delphi, Plexi: WTG!

Suzy: You are right, it's time to kiss your fat good bye! You have stated your commitment and now we'll hold you accountable on it

CMo4
: Glad to hear the movie went well..You are brave!. Hey, is your offer still available for the weekend? I might need some of that

FSA: Sorry to hear you are not feeling too hot right now. Get better soon!

Gekster: Woohoo! on your loss. And....you are so brave for eating those beets haha (personally I hate them LOL).

AtlGirl: I think you made a good compromise with your cravings..I now believe fries are evil I allow myself one off plan meal a week, I think that keeps me sane, I just have to be careful that is only 1

Lewis: I agree, sometimes even if we are not doing as good as we should, the best course of action is to just keep going. I find that that way I don't feel like I fell off the wagon and have to get myself back up (that would give me excuses on why not to do it). You have the right attitude and like you say, losing the weight is not the only reward!

Michelle
: Don't give up girl! Maybe you are just pushing yourself too hard? What is it that you do everyday? How much do you eat?

Jacqueeee: 3 lbs!!!! Amazing!!!! Wow!

Delphi: Have I told you how much you crack me up??? I just love your silly posts! Oh and for the record, the UPS guy just dropped a gigantic box for me and he just left it by the door, absolutely no offer to bring it inside for me .. Sorry to hear about the ex...tell us where he is and we'll all go ninja on him!

Glutio: Congrats on your hubby's good news. Looks like he'll get the job! Will he be too far from you?....One of the reasons I only do the scale once or maybe twice a week is those stoopid fluctuations, they just drive me insane!

Jacqui: to you.

LaurenA: That's right! just keep going girl!

Looking: Just look at you go, I love your enthusiasm today!

Ok...I think I got to everyone...If I missed anyone please forgive me. I will make it up to you

Happy rest of your Friday!

If DH gets this job, he'll be a 15 hour drive away for a bit until I can get things taken care of with our house. At the most, I'll stay behind for 3 months at the most unless I get a job up there before that. It all kind of depends on how things go

HI girlssssssssss, It's late so this is going to be a quickie. I wanted to come in and see how everyone is doing and update you on my news as well.

Glutio, congrats on your DH's job.

Jacqueeeeeee, congratulations on the 3 lb. loss wtg girl.

Delphi? racing you to the market with the cart? are you kidding? A lean mean jedi high areobics machine such as yourself? Sure I will chicky I'm a good sport, as long as we aren't putting money on it I'm good to go! lol miss ya girl, keep u pthe great work.

Newshinyme, thankssss I am feeling good now! OH regarading the house, we househunted for 9 months and looked at 100's of houses omg! In many various towns. Good thing we didn't get the first or second house we looked at (first time homeowners are just so excited, lol). When we found this place, well I feel it was fate! IT takes time sometimes and god yes it can be so darn frustratinggggg. (we had put in a few offers on other homes before finding this place and boy am I glaaaaaaaad they fell through, lol) IT really is. We knew that when we looked at a house and started saying oh we will tear this wall or that wall down that it wasnt for us. We wanted the layout there and then just need to paint or carpet etc. I know what you mean about a place not feeling right. Definitely use your instincts. Houses have energy, some feel good or warm to you when you enter and others don't . I think you and DH will know when you find the right place so hang in there and use the experience as a learing process watch out for those darn salespeople, they put extreme pressure on and want a sale for the comission! We weren't desperate when we were looking (and we let them know that) so I didn't give them that edge but even if we were I would hide it. I am rambling now, you hang in there...I think when you and DH find what your looking for you will be beaming

Hi crazymama Hope you had a good time at Sams yesterday, have a great weekend.

Blondie, have a wonderful time with DH this weekend.

Altgirl,, I think that's great! lol. Consider yourself fortunate,

Jacqui, wtg keep up the great work. Love seeing your posts, you bright the forum up girl.

wtg Lauren, we may not win every battle but if we keep on working at it and keep on fighting, we will win the war.

Lewisempire, wtg chickie! Let's keep on fighting!

lookingtobehealthy, wtg on the cycling...have a great 3 day weekend

MsPerception, urcokmom, lene, tummygirl , and to all of our girls,,,, have an awesome weekend and I will catch up with you all next time.

As for me, I'm doing good. I'm happy now. Tom is gone and my apetite is normal again, the cravings are gone, the sun came out and we have summer back, I went to the market yesterday and got all my ingredients, been busy catching up with stuff around here, got 9lbs. of haddock and had some for dinner tonight (yum), am having it again tomorrow night, saw my mom, and planned a family get together for fathers day next sunday! I like having things like that to look forward to! I am making sure to plan my meals 2 days in advance and I'll keep you posted. 19 days left to rock it! Talk soon girls , keep up the great work

Delphi, aw you. Ty so much for those kind words and the encouragment, your a real darling

MsPerceptionnnnnnnnn, oh! lol I am so happy for you girl, I do recall when you first mentioned that overnight trip with DH and I am so glad that time has arrived for you I hope you have the most amazing and wonderful time together. Congratulationsssssssssssss

Lewis, loved reading your post.......what great advice and oh how so true when the next thing thing hits not finding oneself 20 lbs. overweight or whatever the case may be. I think that is awesome that you still recorded what you ate and keeping up with the exercise. Thanks for sharing and god how true is that, that is it so not worth it on the other side. I had some sidetracks during TOM and it's a lot nicer on this end! Keep on truckin

girls. Night.

Good Morning Ladies

Just stopping in momentarily to say hello. Kinda crunched for time as everyone amazingly went to bed early around here so my window of "me" time is a little crunched this morning. I'll be back later to check in and do personals. You ladies have a wonderful day!

Hi Girls!
Congrats Jacque on the 3 pounds! You are almost there!
FSA, 9lbs of haddock?? Yummy, that would keep me on track for a while. Glad to hear you are doing so well.
NSM,
Looking, enjoy your time off!
Lauren, You'll get that loss next week!
Delphi, glad you got your strength in yesterday, you are doing so great!

ABout me: Have to get to work but... I needed to jump in and say hi before I fell off the wagon. The antibiotics threw me for a loop, the kids being home and me still having to work extra hours threw me for a loop, and just a crazy schedule in general right now has me off my game plan.
My eating has been pretty good, my exercise not good at all. I need to get my butt in gear these last 18 days, to see my 5lb loss.
Have a great weekend ladies!

Thank you and yes I am "uber" excited. I actually went yesterday and bought bathing suits. One was sort of a tankini and the other was a full on bikini!!! Yikes,...Don't know if I will keep the full bikini though...not sure I am ready for that much exposure. And yes a chippendale icon would be nice. Who do we talk to about getting one?For some reason this morning I almost stepped on the scale, but stopped myself...going for another week of no weighing!!!

Ladies, it's so good to see all your enthusiasm. Keep going strong! As for me, I am in a big time stall, which is not surprising. I may not have been eating enough calories or drinking enough water the last few days, but I have adhered to my goals so far, and I'm going to keep a closer eye on my calories and water today.
Thank you and don't worry about stalling...it will change...maybe you need to mix things up...eat different food combinations and/or switch up you exercise regime.

Also, you can mark me as met goal for 4 lbs lost....don't know the inches yet because I won't measure till the end of the month.

That's great that you can plan your meals that far ahead of time. I have tried to plan a weeks worth so that I can go to the store and get what I need, but inevitably something comes up and throws everything off.

Everyone else have a great day!!! Also, seems like quite a few of us are either having TOM or just getting done with TOM...Don't ya just hate him? Let's get him!!!!

Good morning ladies!

I've been forcing myself to go to bed at a decent time and finding that when I get 8 hours of sleep (instead of the previous 6) that my cravings are less. It's so odd how much sleep can effect you!

Sadly, I had another not so positive revelation. I bought the materials to make smores last night and figured that one would be good for a quick, somewhat calorie friendly desert. Boy was I wrong. I couldn't eat just one and ended up eating 3 before the night was over. Im learning that I just can't have certain foods in the house. At least not at this point...

Good luck all...have a wonderful Saturday...

Good morning girls!!! Just have a quick sec to say hello and wish you all a fantastic weekend!!

We're having 3 more yards of soil delivered today so that means lots of shoveling and hauling of dirt here there and everwhere! And with dirt come planting which means...more digging in our lovely IN clay!! LOL Looks like I'll be getting some extra exercise today ladies!

Down to 167 today! Only one more pound and I can add another to my siggy!

Okay girls, have an awesome day and I'll be back tonight to catch up, do personals, etc. Be sure to eat your snack, stay OP and of course...

Drink Your Water!

So this morning I got up real early, stopped by here and took my butt back to bed. My hands were swollen...again and my upper back felt so bad. Felt like Mac truck had run over me. I feel a bit better now but my upper back muscles are soooo sore. Worked them real hard yesterday. Maya doesn't always use weights for every exercise during the strength training, but I sure do. Man am I feeling it this morning. I spent two hours yesterday trying to rearrange my room. I will move the same piece of furniture twenty times until I get it just right. But I finally, got everything moved around just how I wanted it and it looks really good. All that moving probably didn't help my muscles either but golly gee, it needed to be done.

So I've pushed back my cardio for noon and hopefully, I can find something else to do around here. TOM is still around unfortunately and he and Darth Scale are conspiring against me, but that's alright. They have no idea who they are messing with. I am not one to be trifled with

Anywho, you ladies have a great day and enjoy your weekends!

altgirl
~ I knew when I started I couldn't have ANY sweets in the house. ZERO! I was a binge eater. I didn't all the time, and still ate relatively good meals, but my problem was that I sat down and ate a whole bag of chips or a whole bag cookies. So I knew, that in order for me to do this, I had to give up sweets. You know yourself better than anyone. Trust your instincts. If you know you never just ate one of a certain food, then don't buy it or bring it into your house. I'm definitely not at a point where I think I can have that much control. Perhaps one day, but now, no way!

Jacque
~ Oh my a bikini! I'm so happy for you.

Lene ~ Hey sweetie Sounds like you're having a bit of a rough patch..eh? Do ya need a quick swift ? Keep your head up and hang on to that wagon. I know it looks appealing to jump off but that isn't what you truly want now is it. You have made so much progress and whatever is waiting for you if you do fall off the wagon, will only hinder you getting to goal and to a place you truly want to be. I'm sending you a boat load of in the hopes that you USE it and remain IN the wagon. Big 's Lene! Take care!

FSA ~ on the fish girlfriend! Finally got it eh? Good deal! That should spice up the meals a little eh? Two days in advance meals sounds good and sounds like that will keep you on track as well. I've never even heard of that kind of fish..I'm gonna have to google that one. I'm not a big fish eater and if I do eat it, it's prepackage Gortons fish ya know? I can't cook but I REALLY can't do fish or anything else. I tried to cook a whole turkey for Thanksgiving one year. Needless to say, I was on the phone with my grandmother crying my eyes out. She was telling me to stick my hand in the turkey and pull out some kind of bag and I even had these big yellow rubber gloves on and for the life me, I just couldn't put my hand in that poor turkeys butt.

Yoda ~ You take it easy today and don't get too hot out there digging and planting. But have fun! Oh and on the pound sweetie.

Good morning ladies

Glutio - congrats on the first step, that sounds soooo promising, and as they say, sometimes it is who you know, every little bit helps.

Newshinyme - I would concur with waiting, our first house we looked at 62 houses and it was the first one we say that we ended up buying. We knew we wanted it when we saw it but we wanted to be sure since it was our first house. There was never a moment of regret, even whe the bathroom flooded and the living room ceiling caved in (just a bit) I still remember that house as my favorite and I go back to look at it whenever we're back home. Good luck, from what I hear down there the market is really set for the buyers right now.

LTBH - I remember clay, it sucked, I now have sand and the holes you dig fill back up, what ever happened to nice balck dirt anyway? Regardless have fun in the garden and work those hamstrings.

FSA - thanks for the father's day reminder i totally forgot Busy much? wow!

Jacque - don't they say that if woman spend too much time together they all get sincrinized cycles? I wonder if that counts on the computer, hmmm

Altgirl - I'm a junk free zone now, I just can't risk it right now because sometimes I want to have a bath in chocolate, but I have noticed a lot of candy bar wrappers in dh's truck, interesting...And no worries I don't think 3 s'mores would amount to much more than some bloat, it's all about making the next decision a good one, and the one after that.

CMo4 - on the pound and I hope you have a wheel barrel!

Delphi - Have you seen that new show about OCD's? I don't think they have had a furniture mover on it yet

Today it's more yard work, some wacking the weeds and pulling the weeds and not falling in friggin' gopher holes. And hopfully pulling out some cardio if my legs will release a bit from the running yesterday.

Just realized we have a very busy (and therefore dietary challenging) few months ahead of us. In two weeks, we decided to drive to north western ontario to visit family (about 19 hour drive I think) then in July I'm going to fly home to winnipeg for a mommie vacation and then in August we go to halifax. Although it will be nice to see everyone, it's been about 4 months since we moved away, and to see everyone with less of me it's going to take some careful planning, I better start now.

Oh and it's windy I just noticed, I guess it's time to go outside and get a dirt exfoliation, how nice.

Have a great day all!

Yesterday was my first real complete no direct exercise day off, although I did kick the house's ***. My best friend is in town, so we met her and her new beau at Macaroni Grill. I had the simple salmon, as always, with the asparagus. DH got the lemon desert thing they have (after dinner of course) and I had a bite. Did you know that bugger has 1200 calories in it?!?!?!?! One real Macaroni Grill meal is probably a week's worth of calories!

We're having a cookout today with too many people. Chicken quarters and drummies in the smoker, burgers on the grill, baked beans, way too many deserts and who knows what else. I had two drinks of the alcoholic variety after dinner, and there may be more today. Other than running around, I'm not sure what dedicated exercise I may get unless I jump on Active before I hit the shower here in a bit. I'm already worn out from more cleaning, though!

I hopped on the scale this morning just to see where I stood for the whole cookout thing, and I'm still at 277.5!!!!!! YAY!!!! It may not be down, but it's sure not up!! Makes me feel a little safer about today. Heh.

Hope everyone has a happy Saturday. Week 3 is quickly approaching!!
