Ok, I need to be accountable. I went on a date last night and we ate sushi with tuna in it . But, since I have so many people to be accountable to when I slip, it will be easier to make this a permanent lifestyle change. On the bright side, I'm down like, .5 lbs today

cookiequeen.. it really is helpful to read some books on animal violence, it will make you look at food much differently, but it definitely makes it easier to stay away from animal product. check out your local library for some books... read a few pages and see if it helps

Ok everyone Im going to post your Fridays weigh in on Monday morning!

Maybe a little OT but is there a brand of egg substitute that you ladies swear by. Does anyone have any experience with this. I've seen it in the natural/organic food aisle and am curious about how well it works.

The only one I've heard of is Ener G Egg Replacer, I've never used it though!

Thanks Darby & jillnicole, that is exactly what I need. The Ener G stuff is really reasonably priced, I want to make organic vegan brownies and I think this will work well.

Jackie- i like to bake a lot and use Ener-G egg replacer. It works really well. Just mix the powder and water up in a little bowl till it gets frothy and then add that in place of the eggs. Depending on the # of eggs the recipe called for if the mixture looks a little dry I'll add a little more water.

Oh my Goodness! Ive had a BAD eating weekend. TOM came unexpectadly and its like I used that as an excuse to eat crap I knew I shouldnt. Now this week my best friend and my mother are both coming to visit and then I go to New York where I doubt I`ll be able to maintain my diet....I told both of them to bring work out gear in hopes that we do something productive during their visit for a change...
I hope you guys are doing better than I have this past week!

We all have those days or weeks, or hey, even months that we eat bad! As long as you don't let it get the best of you!
