    Darcy and her friend are SOOO cute!! The torn up couch looks familiar! When we bought our first house we decided we needed not one, but two puppies! then they basically proceeded to eat my house!

  • So my weigh in is 111.8- up 1 pound from last week. But I've been eating well and exercising more so I'm hoping its water weight from some saltier food and muscle soreness.

    Amazing job everyone else! I'm very impressed!

  • So I started the Mcdougall Diet today, for the first 12 days I'm going to do the Maximum Weigh Loss plan, and then probably his regular plan if I want to stick to it. So I know some of you are on, or have tried the Mcdougall Plan, could you let me know what your favorite recipes are? I have the Maximum Weight loss book and The McDougall Cookbook. Thanks ladies!

  • Howdy ya'll! I know I'm a little bit late, but I would love to join this challenge! I have been vegetarian before and it felt so good! I would love to recapture that feeling of health and well being. In fact, I'd like to take it a step farther and also cut out my biggest enemy, cheese. Is there any way I could cut in a bit. Have a great one~!
  • CookieQueen Of course you could come in late! What is your starting weight? This challenge ends March 17th, what would your goal be?
  • My starting weight is 177, and I think 165 would be a good goal weight. I'm excited to accomplish my goals with all of you!

    ETA: I don't really count calories and I eat when I'm hungry while trying to make sure to get adequate exercise daily. That and lots of fruit and veg is my plan
  • That sounds like a great goal. Similar to mine! When I'm on a plan or trying to diet I like to try at least 1 or 2 low cal, new recipes a week that way maybe I'll love something new that is good for me.

    well today is my first day back at class. i'm feeling SOOO overwhelmed right now, but i just need to not freak out and remember what my priorities are. i tend to stress out about everything, and i know it's not realistic for me to just stop being stressed, but i could at least start by only allowing myself to freak out about things that are actually important!

  • hey all! today is also my first day of class! I walked to school and walked back is 1.8 miles each way. I changed my schedule so i dont have to be at school till 930 so now i have time to walk. it's really cold and slushy so i almost fell on my butt a few times lol.

    the other day i came across a free crockpot from freecycle and yesterday i made my first meal from it. i made lentil soup but thicker than progresso. 125 calories for a heaping cupful. it made 6 servings and didn't cost much for the ingredients. most of the ingredients i can get multiple uses out of so that's good!
