Have fun, Harleymom!!!

It's raining again over here...I've been eating better (as in less) exercise has been good. We'll see what the scale has to say about the situation.

SuGyong - welcome and way to avoid the binge monster!

Holly - ah the good ole days before the job with random drug testing...well maybe it's better this way. You think I get the munchies now? Ya shoulda seen me before.

wannabe - you'll get into that jacket, girl!!

Jill - what a beautiful trip!! Thanks for the pics!

Hey 2Frus, Andrea and everybody else!

Well Chicks I gained another 2 lbs. I am so mad at myself right now. I am headed for the gym tonight though and have a good day as far as eating goes. No more JUNK FOOD! It is so hard to loss this weight and it comes back on you so easy. Anyhow changed my ticker and it is time for me to be real with myself and get back on the stick!

I am looking forward to my weekend, maybe it will get me back on track with my weight loss. You all have a great one and keep on keep'n on!

Well ladies, I'm up a pound today. Bleh.

But I'm also being more active and not going off my program, so that's good. If I can just get off this "stable weight" that my body is at, I'm sure I'll be flying down on the scale.

HarleyMom- Living in Colorado and going up to the mountains? Is it safe to say you're going skiing? I've stopped since I had my kids. They're just too little to take, but another year or so and it'll be fun teaching them.

Chick- At least it's not the lake effect we've been getting here in upstate NY! LOL! Try digging a tunnel to your garage. Ha ha! Hope it clears up for you.

good morning! I've been MIA for a couple days 'cause I fell off the wagon How can one have SO much optimism and good intentions slip up for days?? I get so fed up with myself. Like I want to just chuck it 'cause it seems so unattainable...sorry for the self-indulgent whining

I am about to do an exercise tape, and try to fix my mindset towards positive.

Hey chicks!

I can't stay long but I just wanted to say hi!

I had a GREAT 30th birthday week last week. It was awesome. My sweet husband threw a surprise party for me and it was totally unexpected. Anyhow, it sure made turning 30 wonderful!

For me 29 was horrible. No one at work believes you when you say "No REALLY! I'm turning 29!" There's a lot of nudging and winking and "Suuurrree." Ha ha!

Hi ladies!

I've hit a bit of a plateau, but I'm trying not to get discouraged. I'm focusing on improving my health, and I'm going to try to beef up the exercise.

On the bright side, it's supposed to be 60 degrees on Sunday, and I'm going for a long ride!!!

Jukie- Plateaus are so frustrating! You have a great positive attitude, so keep that up and with all your hard work you'll soon see the scale move in the right direction again! Enjoy your nice weekend and long ride.

SuGyong- I think that the idea of turning 30 is WAY worse than the actual number.

Have a great weekend chicks!

Really. I don't know how I did it. I was perfectly on program and everything! The only thing I did differently was to have a glass of beer. Does it make so much of a difference?

I'm up 3 POUNDS today!

I'm not up but these days the scale is barely moving. Although because of major deadlines and projects at work I have not made it to the gym. I have ridden a mountain bike some at home but not enough. (By the way dh is using the moutain bike to try and teach me to lean my bike)

Good for you guys in the size 12. Can't wait to get there. I have dropped from a 26 to a 16 in pants and then to a 12/14 in my tops. Actually depending on the pants some of them I can get into a 14. I will be glad when it is all of them though.

I have to tell you how wonderful the dh was the other night. We had laid down to go to bed and he told me that I was doing so good on losing the weight. He said he was enjoying the fact that he doesn't roll into me in our bed anymore (dh is 5'10" and all of 150 maybe). He feels like he can get closer to me and hold me closer when we snuggle, which trust me he has been. He also said that I am really looking good and that I am looking better everyday. (OK, so where did this man come from and where is my real hubby). He has not said anything like that to me in longer then I can remember. I have to remember that I am the smallest I have been in 12 years. Yes ladies 12 years. I was 190 when I delivered my middle daughter 12 years ago.

I have to tell you what else was fun this week. My oldest who is 14 plays softball for the high school and the season is just starting. We had a booster club meeting this week and after the dh and I were on the mountain bikes for a while we walked down to the meeting. I saw several of the moms I haven't seen in a few months, ok so maybe a little more then a few. I watched their mouths drop when I walked in. A couple of them said I almost didn't recognize you, you look great. I just loved it. I felt so good.

I can't begin to tell how much better I have felt about myself with all the weight coming off. I feel better physically and mentally and that is making a world of difference here at home and at work. 45 lbs to go. I would like to have the majority of that off before the dh's high school reunion in July. I want all of it off before we go to his fj rally in TN in September. I want him to be proud of who is on his arm, and I never want to go through the things he and I did about 6 months ago that was the major starting point for this journey. I hate what got me here but I am sure loving the results.

Ok, didn't mean to ramble so much. Welcome to SuGyong and good luck with everyone else. Set the March goal and everybody keep on track.

Hi Chickies! Happy Weekend to Ya'll!

I finally BROKE 170.....am at 169 for a couple of days now. Hope it's not another TRICK!

HEY REB!!!!! HAPPY, HAPPY Birthday!!!!!

SO glad to hear you had a wonderful day and a surprise party too! What a sweet way for your DH to remember your very special day.

Believe it or not, I DO remember my 30th b-day But, the truth is, I'm working on 56 come April 22! I loved my 30's...it's a really great decade. Enjoy it! It's the best!

Wannab, you have one helluva DH there! Good for you and really GOOD for him being so proud of you! It really is amazing what losing weight can do for the ol' self esteem. Feels pretty dam good, doesn't it.

Holly...good for you getting back on the wagon...and you too Harley, Jukie and Su! It is really frustrating when you know you're doing all the right things and the scale doesn't show it! I put new battery in mine last week, and it's now being a bit kinder to me

Well, Kids...just a few days 'til we cruise to the Panama Canal. I can hardly believe it. Almost ready to go...by tomorrow afternoon I will be totally packed w/ suitcases zipped and ready! Just have to do the last minute things like a mani & pedi, wash the dog, clip the cat's nails (so they don't hang from the screens while we're gone!) and stuff like that.

I'll check back in before we go on Thursday morning...I'm gonna miss you guys!

andrea - happy belated!! Yay!! For DH & surprises!!

harleymom - hopefully the extra 2 has since disappeared. It gets so much harder the smaller you are. Go check out featherweights forum or maintainers if ya don't believe me. "Keep on keepin on" to quote a "loser"

SuGyong - see above... But really - you are staying on plan, it will pay off. Sometimes the scale is truly .

Jukie - sometimes switching up the exercise is just the jump start....

wannab - so you are getting so much positive feedback. You've earned it, ya know!

holly - whine away, honey!! And then bust out one of your exercise tapes!

jill - oh the trauma of mani/pedi day.... Feel free to whine as well.

2Frus!

The weather is great for riding at the moment....rain might be back tomorrow...I'll take my rides while I can.

Well, Chicks, I'm signing off until the 20th! We leave in the morning for our cruise! Didn't lose as much as I wanted to pre-cruise, but am planning on lots of walking aboard the Coral Princess to try to ward off as many evil pounds as I can while on board with all that fabulous FOOD! Got lucky last cruise with only a 2 lb. gain, but we'll be aboard 3 more days, so am hoping for no more than 3 lbs this time.

Will sign off now.....you guys keep on keepin on while I'm gone! Time to put the finishing touches on my packing and check my list(s!) one more time!

I'll miss you guys!
