Hi Chicks. It is defiantly a Monday. I am working on payroll, UGH! I should have it finished by tomorrow p.m.

DH is doing great. His laser surgery went well 740 laser shoots to the eye to help repair some of the damage from his diabetes. Hopefully it will keep him from going blind. He is having another procedure done today to his right eye to try and recover some eyesight. My son is driving him there and I will pick him up as I have missed quite a bit of work because of all the hoopla. He is very positive and is not pouting about his situation. He is just doing with the doc says. I am proud of him. Men typically don’t do well with medical stuff.

Holly I am with Jill get DH to a doctor ASAP. If it is nothing so be it. At least you got it checked out. No regrets when it comes to someone’s health. You’ll be left saying should of, would of, could of done…… Don’t let him bully you into not going! My DH doesn’t want to necessarily take care of things but I push him to do it. If your over 40 and over weight the risk of a heart attack becomes pretty good. That is why I wanted to work on my weight issues. You can not force that issue though that has to come on his own. You take care of yourself first!

HarleyBrit I saw the snow on TV. Pretty cool AZ finally got the moisture. I know you needed it! Glad your trying to stay on track.

OK you guys are all making itch to ride. It snowed like crazy here this weekend and is cold today with snow on the ground. I am so jealous of all your nice weather. I am certainly ready for it to come here.

Jill I am so glad your having fun! That is great and what life is all about. Keep having fun! Your rides sound fabulous and I want to go with you when you talk about them. Congrats on finding your exercise nitch. I love your picture! Looks like your having a great time!

Reb sorry your so busy keep up the good work on your weight loss!

Gina I think you are right about the teams being pretty even on BL. I can’t wait to see who wins. As an ex marines wife I am sort of hoping they kick butt. O Rah Marines! I can believe you found that info on rattle snake. Speaking of snake I got a pair of boots this weekend that are python. They are so beautiful. I gift from DH for sitting through all his appointments for the last couple of weeks. I can hardly wait to get on my Harley and show them off!

2 Frus hope you had a great weekend! And everyone else for that matter. OK I have done my limit of typing on the thread. Sorry so long Chicks. Take care and Keep on Keep’n on!!!!!!

Howdy all!

I'm kickboxing tonight, so I'm starting to drink lots and lots of water now! It might help with the kickboxing hangover I tend to get the next day...

Food is going ok, I'm spreading my treats through the week, yesterday I just had two biscuits/cookies. I think I might chill out some on the eating front. I averaged my cals last week and it was lower with doughnuts and pizza and cookies about every day than it was with a perfect week and a lousy weekend day! Hoooray! I think I might have my attitude towards food sorted! I also haven't weighed myself in over two weeks. It's good because I'm not getting annoyed about it!

Hope everyone's DHs are ok My soon to be DH and I registered our intent to marry yesterday, the date is November 4th... just 34 weeks!

good morning friends!

Girls, I KNOW my husband needs to get bloodwork/a physical/checkup...I have known for a long time! Am I supposed to make the appointment, tell the doc what to check for (as if he won't know) make sure he gets time off from work, bully him into it??? I am feeling more than a bit resentful about it. I take care of myself, for both myself and my family...wouldn't it be easy and self-indulgent to eat whatever I want and not exercise for an hour 5X a week, just let myself go like he has??? it's not fair, is it.

He lit into me when I was at the end of my rope, when I told him I had suicidal thoughts, he told me how selfish I was. That moment was just about the lowest point of my whole life. NOw isn't HE being just as selfish?

He KNOWS that I want to be as buff as possible for Myrtle Beach...both for myself and for him (he buys me lots of revealing biker-chick tops) Last night, when I got home from work, he had bought fried chicken for dinner, had a Kit Kat sitting out on the counter (dont' know how many he had already had) for me. I work so hard at exercising, and trying to eat right while at work, then have to try to resist this type of food that he brings home??? it's so hard!

I just had to let all that out.

good news - I'm down a couple of pounds. I know it isn't just water weight, I know the extra cardio and eating well is paying off. I am psyched about it

For those who get the JC Whitney catalogues - the most recent motorcycle one has MY new bike on the cover! a VTX 1300 C model, the C stands for the cast wheels. If you see it, just imagine it in Bright Blue Metallic paint, and that's my soon-to-arrive bike!

I need to update my ticker, too. I'm finally back to 273...although I hate the number, it feels good to lose again!

Holly, I am so proud of you. We have peeks and valleys in our lives. Everything is not smooth. Sometimes the one’s we love are with us full on and sometimes their not. The trick is are we in this for other’s or ourselves? I think I do it for the kids and DH but first and far most I do it for myself. What kind of life do I want to live? I don’t want to be on the side lines watching I want to be a participator. Don’t let anyone bring you down! We can not control others destiny only our own. We can try and direct them but it is totally up to them. Keep up the good work!

2 Frus congrats on the coming marriage. And you have worked so hard. Your going to look absolutely beautiful on your wedding day!

I just love the support I get from you all! Have a good one Chicks and Keep on Keep’n on!

thank you!! that was just what I needed to hear. thanks!!

We had a dusting of snow last night, about an inch or two. I know it's still only mid-March, up here we can expect snow all month (in fact, some of our biggest dumps of snow have been in march) It covers up the ugly yard temporarily

I have done my Gilad cardio tape already, and had to wait for husband and son to leave so now I have the living room back to myself again, now to choose whether to attack Hips Thighs Buns, or Arms and Shoulders

keep on keep'n on! I ALSO couldn't keep on without you guys

Good Morning Ladies!!!

We have been gone for the last few days so no posting going on.... Looks like I need to read up and see how you all are doing!! We got 48" of snow in the mountains so we just had to go up and play in it! LOL

Ok so I went up a couple pounds this week...I am heading out to get a couple workout DVD's... I like the dance ones and it keeps me motivated. I am also due for more food...guess I really did not listen to myself about what I needed to buy...all my fruits are GONE!! I have not snacked on any yucky stuff and enjoyed my eating this week...lots of salads!! My hubby says I am going to turn into a rabbit..hehe....Not likely huh!

We have a bunch of friends getting together for a ride this weekend that should be fun and a true test to see if I can do this with out cheating...wish me luck girls....

Anyways off to the store I go! Have a great day all!!

Hey Chicks don't forget to watch BL tonight. Go Marines Wifes! Anyhow I have not lost weight in 2 weeks and I am going to go excersise my booty off tonight because I had lunch with the office today. Ate way to much. I feel like the blueberry on Willie Wonka.

Have a good evening all!

good morning!

ooo, I splurged on myself yesterday....ever hear of Panoptx sunglasses? specifically designed for "speed" sports - they have removeable foam eyecups to keep wind and dust out. They retail for $195.00 but I found them for $74.00 with shipping and handling.

I have always been a $10.00 sunglasses person, but they always break! so this is an investment, right? right?

Yesterday I did attack my Hips Thighs and Buns, so today will be upper body.

Hello to everyone!!!

Gina I was sort of glad Navy won. It seems like they may have worked harder than the other team. I was really proud of the gal on Marines who lost 66 lbs. I can't remember her name. She looked awsome.

Holly congrats on the new shades. A good pair of riding glasses are a must have. Holly you are posting when I am asleep in the mornings. I like to get my beauty rest.

I did the low impact BL DVD last night. I think I need to do the high intensity one as I do not feel sore or anything today. I worked up a sweat but didn't feel like it worked me hard enough. I just got the DVD so I'll have to check out some of the other work outs. I didn't want to over do it the first time I used it.

Well chicks have a great day and keep on keep'n on!

good morning ladies!

Jill, oooo, you leave tomorrow? Have a GREAT time!!! we'll be thinking of you!

HarleyMom, I go to bed pretty early (10 at the latest) so it's easy for me to get up early. I try to get downstairs for my first cup of coffee and check email by 5:30, then try to hit my first exercise video by 6:00 am. Because by 6:45, son and husband are trying to get ready for school/work and are in my way (we have small house, tiny living room) Plus, they make fun of my exercise guy Gilad

I've been having oatmeal for breakfast lately - the old fashioned kind that you have to cook yourself, but use the microwave. It's not bad, and seems to keep me not thinking about food until 11:30 or so.

Hello HarleyBrit, Gina, Andrea, 2frust, and our Star girl
