Mine didn't come with a bar - I have to order it separately. And I'd love to do it barefoot but have foot problems and have to have the support.

The best thing about exercising is how good you feel afterwards. But I've just realized that when I feel virtuous about exercise, my mind tries to trick me into eating a reward. (Salad is not a reward...) The unsightly tee and sweaty hair are a good deterrent to going out for junk, and I don't have anything here. Except those darned energy bars I just remembered. Maybe I'll go climb some stairs or something.

Two days exercise in a row - could it be a trend?
20 minutes on the rebounder, and hoping to go for a walk later.

sigh, will get back on the wagon tomorrow...today I cleaned, laundry, shopped for NOT-fun items like food and kitty/dog supplies, moved furniture and scrubbed up the kitchen, floors, counters, stove and other yuckky areas, along with waking up to kitty-barf hairballs they leave them like a gift in front of my coffeepot!...how does one person (who works 50 hours a week), 2 cats and one dog make such a mess every week?

I will NOT detail the dog's delicate lower GI tract.....but JEEZ!!!! I did not need that on top of everything!

Marble, your chores sound like a pretty good workout to me. And you're welcome to come clean my house any day. Maybe I'll do better when I have cats, but right now I hardly ever clean anyhting.

This morning the fire alarm in my building went off at 5:30 in the morning. No fire, but since I was awake and it was fairly cool out, I got up and went for a nice slow run/walk, about 4 k. It's the first time in months I've even tried to run, and it felt really good. Of course now my right foot is throbbing in spite of ice and stretches, but I'm determined to get it fixed and be able to get out for a run a few days a week. (Perhaps "run" is a bit of an exaggeration. More like a slo-mo jog.)

Now it feels like the weather is hotting up again after 2 days reprieve.

Enjoy a good day's rest tomorrow before you have to go back to work. Anyone who works 50 hours a week AND has two cats and a dog deserves a holiday.

snicker, snicker, snicker......that's what I told people when they asked me how I had lost 60 lbs. (and kept it off for 5 years, thankewverymuch) ....they when I got walloped by my X-idiot and sank like a rock, I didn't do squat for 2 years and look wothappended, duh.....

I was chuckling when I saw Carla's signature....unfortunately, the *other Karla* is from the same area where my family is.......I remember the big discussion with my cousins when it happened....
