The only one in this thread that would be making a fool out of themselves would be me and that would be by running in public!! And that's never happening! This picture on pinterest says it all!

I just did W9D1 and it was the last lesson, it told me I graduated!! So I guess I'll be doing that one for a few more weeks still doing 3 days a week! I kept trying to scroll, thinking I messed up the app. or whatever lol. I can't believe it!! I thought I still had 2 more days left to complete the training. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad!!

It was a tough one too. I had so many other things on my mind to get done but I knew if I didn't run now, I'd never get it in today.

I.heart.c25k.

Wooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooo! Go ElvisLover324!!!!! That is AWESOME!

Good plan going ahead too. My app has a 10K program as well. When I finish I will either do the C25K program again but running at different paces (So when it says to walk, run at 4mph, and then when it says to run, run at 4.5mph or something) or I'll go onto the 10K.

You are such an inspiration!

Awww thanks, 100mother! I couldn't do all this without all of you ladies so I give half the credit to you wonderful people!! This thread has kept me on track and my head in the game. I'm only at 2.40 for a distance so even though I completed the training, I don't run fast enough for distance. So I figure I'll finish out this week doing like I'm doing and then next week increase the time (which in turn increases the distance) and see how I do.

I'm not in math mode at the moment (maybe we call this runner's brain since we are all runners now? LOL) but I need just over a half mile to get to the 3.2 so that would mean I need to add about 8 minutes on to my run time if I'm running at 3.8mph? I just made myself dizzy thinking about that...

I'm finding myself really apprehensive about the next 2 weeks. I'm doing w4d1 tomorrow, and w5d3 is (as I'm sure you all are aware) a 20 minute run.

I'm going to read through this entire thread tonight looking for inspiration.

Fit dad 2b I understand, and that is why I try not to look ahead at this program, haha. But you know what? If you get to week 5, day 3, and it is too hard, you just repeat the previous workout until you can do w5d3. There is NO shame in that!

And congrats on getting to W4!!

Fit dad, seriously, if I can do it (and finished the whole 9 weeks today!) anyone can. I never ran more than a few steps in my life until I started this program. Now my body craves the run and it's the funkiest feeling ever!

I can't even believe I can do it. It's like an out of body experience.

Oh my gosh, Elvis! I'm so exited and proud for you! You seriously kicked c25k's butt! Please don't leave us wanna-be-graduates behind!
Fit dad 2b - by the time you reach w5d3 you will be more than ready for it and by the end of the run you will be like - what? that was it? ha!
Yes, w5d3 is a big milestone, but everyone is capable of overcoming it, just keep going

I was just on pinterest again and thinking about my run today. There were times during these 9 weeks I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish or maybe I'd end up dead before the 30 minutes was up. I think this should be our c25k slogan:

BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME!! Awesome runners, that is!

I did my W4D1. I did have to stop a couple of time but only for a few seconds. I also slowed my pace. I usually walk 3.5 MPH and 4.5 running. Today I did 3 walking and 4 running.

Basementcat and 100Mother, you guys are killing me! I will also be planning music for the long runs though. I'm cool pulling wedgies while running and I don't care who's behind me or watching. I also would put my runs for friends to see. I'll bet most of them aren't running and you're lapping all of them. Who cares how slow or how much ground you DON'T cover!! Look at how much ground you DO cover!!

Elvislover, on graduating!!

elvis: Congratulations on graduating! You are awesome!

basementcat:I've been posting on FB everytime I run and i asked my friends to support me. I have lots of runner friends who run long distances and they've all been really supportive.

It's going to be tough to run this week because it's going to rain a lot. I hope I'll be able to go at least three times!
