I'm going back to my running tomorrow I hope, I have been missing it and craving it!! (Who am I and where did the real Elvislover324 go?!)

Both times this week that I tried to run I was lightheaded and dizzy. I wonder if I have a sodium deficiency or something. I can't think of what is different in my diet (nothing as far as I know) but maybe some salt in my blood might help. Won't hurt to try. I'm so bummed though, I wanted to get ahead this week and just couldn't, feeling so crappy.

But I'm a RUNNER! I will persevere and keep going!!

Sounds like everyone is doing pretty well.

Congrats to all the amazing successes and just keep going is my advice for anyone who may be struggling.

I completed W5D1 today! Without too much pain.

The most difficult part is a mental thing today. I don't feel well, and I want to shut down. I got through it, but I don't know how long I'll last at work today. I don't think I'm sick. I just need rest, if that makes sense.

Alright, hope everyone has a good one! I'm psyched to be in week 5 and going strong, even if I do feel mentally sluggish today!

W4D1 is finished as of this morning! I unfortunately hurt my knee on Friday (must've because there was pain running on Saturday). I bought that band that goes under your kneecap and it helps a little but I still have pain. I don't know what to do! I don't want this to hinder my running! Has anyone else had this?

WTG Everyone!! Rocking it we are!

I did W6D1 today. I almost didn't get my run today. My son had a doc appt and I wouldn't have had time between school and his appt to run and come home and shower (especially since the gym is right by my son's school and the doc's office ) I said I would go after dinner but I've been kinda bummin today and really didn't want to. But after dinner I started getting antsy and ended up going. I'm glad I did!

Have great runs tomorrow those of you that run on Tuesdays!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to check in, even though I'm not running due to a groin injury. It sucks so bad. I really hope I'll feel ok tomorrow so I can go, I really miss it.

Hope you feel better, Angelic!

Congrats to everyone else on their runs!

I ran for 25 mins today, walked 15 mins so totaled 40.

I totally lost my groove running since C25K ended. I'm just so hot when I run now and can't shake the dizzy, overheated feeling. My basement is finished and fairly a cool area so it's not too hot down there even though it's been real warm outside. IDK what happened.

But I'm not stopping no matter what, even if I can only run 20 minutes at a time. Just so frustrated...

I'm sorry you've lost your running mojo Elvis - it will come back.

I did w5d3 on Sun. and it went so great. I'm seriously can't believe I ran 20 min straight through (at a slow 12 min/mile pace, mind you, but hey I'll take it). When I think back at my w1d1 run, and how I could barely get through the 60 second intervals, I just shake my head in amazement.

Holy $&#%, I actually think I can do this!

I got through W4D2 today but it was tough. What's weird is that it was cooler out today so I was pretty pumped to go running, but once I got out there I was just in so much pain. Two of my friends came running with me - maybe it was just that I didn't have my music on? I don't know. I'm taking two days off to let my shins heal a bit... I was actually going to do that after D1 but I just wanted to get out there!

Good morning peeps!

elvislover, You'll get back into the swing of it. You just got a little lax in your time off. Keep going and you'll get your groove back!

Fitdad, first off, 5mph is not slow! lol I run at 3.8 and walk at 3.2. Also, I'm right there with you. I made it through W5D3 and it was such a great feeling! Love it!

I'm not sure why but I'm pretty sore today. More so than I've ever been after a run. Weird but oh well.

Have a great day everyone!

Elvis, have you thought of signing up for a race? That's the one thing that always keeps me going, even when I don't want to.

I wasn't able to run last night, but I'm hoping I won't feel any pain today. I'm not sure I'll be able to go right back to week 8 though, I haven't run since Thursday!

Angelic, I did consider a race but I haven't signed up for any yet. It's more a physical problem I think than mental, it's like my body didn't want to run.

But...good news!! I ran 20 minutes today, 10 @ 3.8mph and 10 @ 4.2mph (which is like speeding to me LOL! )!! And I walked 15 minutes along with it (5 min. walk, 10 min run, 5min. walk, etc.) and I felt great even though I ran yesterday too. This might be TMI but I didn't wear socks or a shirt (LOL) but I did wear a sports bra that's like a tanktop, plus I'm home alone (not a pretty sight, I think even the dog was offended ). I felt so much cooler and not that dreadful internal heat.

I love reading all of your updates, keep em coming and keep up the good work!!!
