Sorry I haven't really been here this week. Relaxing after finals, and I got a new schedule and stuff.
I thought for sure I gained at least a pound, but after weighing myself, I am proud to say 148!

I've got bad results to report this week! I think i can blame two things (I'm on McD) first I've been eating more not-mwl approved food like pasta and second my portions are definitely getting bigger. Will have to work on that! Still, 20 lb in 4 weeks isnt shabby!!!

this week: 220 with a 1 lb loss

Minor loss for me, however I'm thrilled I've been able to lose 3 lbs this month which is huge for me. 118.4 lbs as of this morning.

Morning everyone. I've been in hiding. TOM showed up unexpectedly on Monday and my relationship with food has suffered. Somehow I think I still managed to pull off a loss though. Weighed in this morning at 247.2 which surprised me. I've got a million things to do today but hopefully the next few days will be smoother and I can finish catching up.

Thank you for your weigh-ins so far! You all are doing so well, even with TOM we seem to get through it and keep going! Great job ladies.

My weight for today 168.5

I was hoping for 166 but 3 pounds is good

Good morning!
I'm down to 215. Yesterday I was 214 and I had hoped to stay the same, but I marinated tofu in soy sauce last night and made a sauce with lots of soy sauce, so I'm thinking I'm retaining water.

Quillie-20 lbs. is amazing! Good job!

Skinny Teen-how did your finals go? Great job on not gaining during that stressful time.

All you McDougallers are doing great!! I've always felt it was such a simple way to lose weight; I just can't stick with it, which makes me sad. But I really do think it's one of the easiest and healthiest diets around.

I'm still counting calories and it seems to be working. I've been working out too, which of course, helps. I don't love it; it's boring, but I can't seem to control what I eat unless I see what exactly I'm putting in my mouth.

Have a great day, girls!

DARBY- New York was great but I didnt find any vegan restuarants where we were staying. I was able to find oatmeal and fruit salad where ever I went so I was good. And I found an amazing Veggie burger at Hard Rock cafe.

My weigh in is better than expected. Im down to 211, so altogether Ive lost 7lbs this month. Im completely happy with that, and I think I can still make my mini goal now that I am back on track.

On a side note....Im always looking for interesting ways to make tofu, and I found an amazing one. I`ll post it later when the baby is napping. Its delicious although not McD approved for all you on that plan.

ok i think i've officially decided to jump on the mcdougall bandwagon with you ladies. i had been thinking that i should wait until after i take this big test on the 7th, but really it doesn't make sense to ever postpone doing something food for your body. i think i'm going to try for the MWL plan for a week or two and see where i want to go from there. you ladies have been very inspiring in your efforts and i want those kind of results!!!

Woohoo Summerkate! I don't think you'll be disappointed. I did McD this month and I had exams too, but then again, I usually diet when I have some stress in my life.
The great thing is that you can eat a lot on McD, so if you get the urge to snack while studying that's ok.
Good luck on MWL! I can't do it fully, I still include pasta, it is such an easy meal. But I always eat it in very large quantities. Maybe I'll get back on the MWL wagon in feb., I have been losing less weight.
