Whoop! I'm not sure I desrve first place, I did have a lot to lose. I can't wait till we get to the end of the challenge. (and start a new one) I'd really like to get into Onederland.
i made a couple "commitments" on stickk.com one for weight and one for exercise....if i don't lose in a week i have to do 100 situps if i dont exercise 4 days a week i have to do 100 jumping jacks lol
today i ran 2.3 miles....i don't like running when it's cold cause i either dress too warm or not warm enough lol today i dressed too warm i think i'll keep a log of the temperature and what i wore and if it was too warm or not enough and then when it's that temp again, consult my log and hopefully that will work!
Quillie.. you definitely deserve it! You're so close to Onederland! When is your goal to be there? What is your St.Patty's goal weight?
Haley.. that's awesome you are challenging yourself! Way to go girl
All together we lost about 68 pounds!! Actually more, since everyone didn't weigh in Way to go ladies.
I was thinking for now until St.Patty's day... would there be anything else you think would help our challenge, maybe teams? Or we can have 2 winners next time, one for people over a certain weight, and one for people under a certain weight? Let me know if you all have any ideas!

Great job everyone! Hope you are ready for St. Patricks Day, it is our next stop on the weight loss train
Wow!!! Congratulations! You should be so proud of yourselves. I'm definitely proud of you!
This week is a weird one for me. First of all, it's TOM (or will be soon). And I've been invited out to eat for Thursday and Friday. I've been unusually social lately, and it's all food and drinks oriented. Next week things should settle down.
Heather-did you go to your veggie group? How did it go?
Jill-your idea for winners for people over or under a certain weight is a good one. I like the idea of teams too. Maybe I'll be able to stick to this better if I know other people are depending on me!
Jill-definitely next weekend! Maybe we can go to Cherry Creek. I think they have a walking trail there, and it's a really nice area. Maybe you can ask some of your co-workers about trails around the south end of town.
I love Zumba, I think I have 2 left feet but fun still! lol I was going to go today but I realized I was too sore and shouldn't so I stayed home and relaxed. I did A power Pump and Pilates class yesterday, 1 hour each! Yay.
I like the idea of teams, accountability is a lovely thing. We should try to recruit more teamsters at chicks up for a challenge.
My stPattys gol is 204, it will be a miracle if I actually get there. I'd have to loe 3 lb a week, impossible!
I will check with all of you to make sure you do want to participate in teams, if you do not you can just weigh in every week without the team bother
Please just let me know!
These teams will be set up upon weight, hopefully we can have them set in stone by Friday (and then we can all pick our own team names). We will start our new weights for teams on Friday's weigh in!

Haley - I hate running in the cold also and have been slacking because of it.
Darby - I hear you on everything being food and drink related. I've started suggesting activities like ice skating, tennis, hikes etc to my friends. We of course still have drinks after but at least we did something before.
I did go to the meetup group and had a good time. Plenty of tasty food and almost all of it was vegan so I sampled a lot! There were people who were veg for various reasons - religious, health, and animal rights. I relate a bit more to the AR people but all were very pleasant and I enjoyed the conversation.
Jill - I'm down with the teams
Are you taking new people for the rest of your challenge? I saw on the Chicks Up for a Challenge board that you were but reading these posts, I'm confused. I'd love to sign up if you are.. if not, I'll wait until next time.
