Good morning everyone!

How everybody had a great weekend. I am ready to kick in the lifestyle change hard this week and kick up the exercise to avoid the dreaded plateau which I am starting to feel. Of course I am just coming off my TOM so you know how that goes. I got up this morning and did the 24 minute 1-minute workout total body plan by Minna Lessig, complete with warm up and cool down so it came out to 30 minutes. I plan to do a TurboJam cardio party when I get home so this is my new plan, 30 minutes in the AM and 60 minutes in the PM. Plus I am doing a little dip in my alloted calories for the day from 1300 to 1200 just to get a little change in.

How is everyone else today?

Congrats to all who have lost this week. Onederland Cubb. Way to go!!! I haven't lost anything this week so still sitting at 169.5 but should get TOM soon so hunger will become normal again. Cubb sometimes I think my fat has a mind of it's own or owns my mind because it sure is efficient at sending panic signals when it feels threatened. I've actually read that this is in fact true and that fat cells produce all sorts of hormones.

Well I've had a good start to this week. Ate well and had a good workout this evening my cardio machine said I burned 500 cals in 40 mins. and my legs are going to be sore tomorrow. I had an MRI on my knee yesterday and should finally know conclusively what is wrong and what needs to be done to fix it.
Kate I'm taking organic apple cider vinegar (unpasterized) because it helps with digestion (lots of enzymes) and its PH balancing. It's suppose to help with weight loss but not sure how it works.
Sno I've picked up on your fiber idea and giving it a try. I took it after dinner and I'm not hungry tonight.

My goals for this week are:
45 mins. of cardio x5
3 BFL weight workouts
3 liters of water daily
3-4 cups green tea daily

So I was able to do my 30 minute walk today, no problem. I iced and am keeping my fingers crossed as to how I will do tomorrow.

I also stuck well to plan, took fiber, did my stretching and meditation.

This weeks goals are to really have all of the above be a habit.

Daily: walk 30 minutes, ice knee, stretch, and meditate for 20 minutes.

And continue to work on my eating plan--atkins 4 days, calorie count 3.

Nina: glad the fiber worked for you--it is really helping my appetite. Good job on all that exercise--and good luck with the MRI--I had one on my knee and basically there is nothing major wrong with it--I just need to not overwork it or go on stairs for about six months.

hey ladies...ive been registered with 3FC for a couple of weeks but this is my first post and i have my own May challenge so i was hoping i could be a part of all yours. My diet has been at kind of a stand still and I kinda think some support will help me keep going...especially at times when i feel like quitting. great to know theres a place like 3FC to help

Thanks for the welcome snow, and hello to everyone.
My other May goal is to be in onederland when I leave for Vegas on the 20th of May.
I'm working my way up 5 minutes at a time to reach 60 minutes of cardio 6 days per week. I'm up to 35 minutes and will reach the 60 minute goal on March 6th.
My ultimate goal is 145 by december 15th.
Nice to meet y'all, Let's rock the scales!!!!!

Good Morning All,

So I dared to get on the scale after my last week relapse into bad eating and no exercise. I only gained two pound so I am at 151. I didn't change my ticker because I know I will get back to the 148, and hey more motivation to do it. So I never used my person trainer coupons from when I joined the gym back in September and now that my friend is a member are going to do it together....less intimidating for both of us. Especially since our trainer is going to be a total hunka hunka hunka burnin' love...hahahaha. I am hoping he can show me some exercises that I can do at home as well using an exercise ball and arm weights. Everyone have a healthy day!

Questions: Why are you ladies taking fiber supplements? Is it because you are not getting enough in your regular diet or is it an addition? Don't you only need around 25-30 grams of fiber a day?

Hi everyone, I am trying to make a shopping list for this weekend, can you recommend some yummy things for snacks that are low cal? And drinks too? I am addicted to tea and have to give it up. Along with my horrible snacking habits. I have sf jello and pudding down, gum, I guess veggie stick (UGH) I need low cost too! I cant really think of much more...almonds but I eat to many so I shouldn't buy them haha, and crackers and things like that I can NOT bring into the house no matter how good my intentions are! I WILL eat the whole box instead of lunch (like not eating lunch makes up for it haha) I already have some sf ice creams but I don't really like them so they are not going fast. I am going to buy green tea to help with my black tea habit but green tea tastes like seaweed. So I can imagine it wont go well, any other low cal hot drink idea to help me? Thanks all!
