Yeah they do. They have Mindy and Anna Rita. Sometimes I revert to the low impact when I am struggling to keep up (or too uncoordinated to jump that quickly), but I am really trying to do it full pace on each one in order to build up my endurance.

Snowbrocade, good to see you are back on track..no worries, everyone goes off plan.

Miafluker- The fatblaster is tough...she says it is a workout you do to get ready for a special occasion. I did it because I was angry and needed a release and some endorphines to get me happy again. It works great for that by the way. Of course all of TJ does that with the kicks and the punches. I love it (cause I have some really annoying co-workers!)

Afternoon Chicks,

Sounds like a few of us have some TJ experience. I think you can get the videos at the big drug stores now. If you order it online I believe you can get the whole series for a pretty good price and it include some isolation work and a fairly good sculpting weight workout. It's alot of fun when you can do it full impact but I don't find it much of a workout low impact but that's just me. The isolation ab and leg workouts are great and relatively low impact.

I've been doing ok with my eating and still working out regularly. We finally have enough snow to crosscountry ski so I've been out a couple of times now. It's such a zen activity for me it makes all the cold weather worthwhile.

Have a great day,

Nina

Turbo jam... hmmm I think I need to look into this. I don't want high impact either due to bad hip joint. I will see if my libaray has it first because dh just rolls his eyes when I buy a new workout. This way he can't complain.

I know I need it. It is so encouraging to see the progress all the chicks have made it makes me feel like I can to it too!!!!

Talking Yeah it is Saturday!

Hope everyone is doing well!

The green tea is working great, thank you all for the suggestions, I love the orange-passion fruit and the lemon-ginseng! Totally gets me through the 2 hours in the morning and the 2 hours in the evening! I think it totally helped get rid of my TOM bloat, yesterday I was 3 pounds above my sig weight and today I am at it clothed! I knew I was retaining though so I wasnt worried about it. But it left so quick I was suprized!

I had a hunger pains last night before bed and ignored them but I would hate for my tummy to start rumbling at night. I think it is mainly because I am trying not to eat after 6 when before I would eat up untill LOL Hopefully my body will adjust quickly, I don't want to keep the whole house awake!

Still havent started any excersize routines, but I know that thinking about it is the first step for me. So I am on may way

Our tree has finally been liberated from it's ornament enslavement and is on its way to the burn pile (no recycling places out here, we will be getting a fake one next year). Now my unfinished living room is back to being a serious eyesore instead of an eyesore with a chirstmas tree LOL It is nearly finished though. I need to paint the trim still and buy molding, change out the funky 70's fake glass chandeleir for something else and install the laminate over the hardwood. Then I can finally move my furniture out of the office and back in there! It's been a year since we started so by all means this will take 2 or 3 more years LOL

Ok have a great day everyone!!! --Sumi

Hi all:

well I walked for 30 minutes the last two days and my knee is acting up today, so I am icing and resting it today. Maybe that is the formula--2 days on and one off.

Eating is good--some hungries after my little binge on thursday but not too bad.

Talk to you later!

Default mini goal

Hope everyone is having a great weekend--as of tomorrow it will be 14 weeks until May 7--we have lots of time to make our goals!!

I am setting a little mini-goal/reward for myself!

The second week of March I will be going up to see my family in Monterey and they have my favorite shop there. That is about 5 weeks from now so I should be down another 10 lbs!

That should be down another size and I can go shopping and get some new clothes!
Hopefully this will give me some more motivation to lose and keep going.

Well, we had a party here for my daughter, and I honestly have no idea if I did well on food or not. I know that I fixed myself 3 plates of food, but one got knocked out of my hands by wild animals, er, I mean boys after I had only gotten a few chips and some dip. The second got lost after I ate part of my hamburger, and the 3rd I think was piled pretty high with veggies, but I know it had some dip too.

I am actually feeling very pumped up again, as several of my hubby's aunts said I looked good. (I bought myself some new tank tops, and was wearing one that's bright blue- it makes me feel happy)

Sno, I hope your mini reward motivates you! And I'm glad to hear that your system seems to be workuing for your knee.

Oh ugh!

Up a pound! I can't say I'm all that surprised though. TOM came and went this week and I didn't stick to plan. I must say though (with the exception of a rumble with a bag of cheesies) I didn't really have any total meltdowns like I used to. Bingeing to me now is 5 whole grain crackers with some cream cheese.

Also I did get to the gym but only twice. The second time was to try a Bodyflow class (Tae Bo, Pilates, Yoga and Meditation) which I loved and is right up my alley; however, I think my time at the gym will be more productively spent doing the circuit and cardio and bodyflow will be one of my rewards when it is time to do some toning.

Anyways, back on track with a vengence today and my goal this week is to lose 3 lbs. Sorry I haven't had a chance to read up and see how everyone is doing...I've missed 4 pages of posts! But I will check in again soon when I have some more time...Good luck everyone!

Good Morning Chicks,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I did pretty good this weekend. I decided to start a cleanse eating plan for a week. I've given up caffeine, dairy, wheat and sugar. Lots of fruit and veggies fish etc. I have a bit of a headache right now from caffeine withdrawl. I'm down anther 1.5 this week for a total of 5 lbs. for the month of January . I'm weighing in a 167.5 and have lost a total of 7 inches so not to worried about the slow weight loss.

I've been skiing instead of going to the gym so I'm missing my weight training but I figure the snow won't be here for long so taking the moment.

Sounds like you've got a handle on your knee Sno. Sometimes the rest day can really help and maybe you could find an alternative non impact exercise for the off day.

Have a great day all,

Nina

I've missed out on a lot I see! I've been gone due to a lot of really difficult things to deal with. None of that is important right now though. I stayed at about 177 for 2 weeks and now I'm down to 174 (TOM is coming to a close in a few days). So I'm optimistic for the next few weeks and I'll have to start posting again. I'm so sorry I haven't been around, it's been very hard lately.

Good morning everyone! And hello for the first time to those coming back that I have yet to meet

It is officially 14 weeks until May 6th, I am thinking about starting power 90 again right after my operation and I am cleared to do it. Power 90 is supposed to be 12 weeks so it works out, maybe I will even do some before and afters and try and win some money LOL

CONGRATS to everyone for a great week last week, no matter the hiccups, here we are all set for a new one and it will be great too!

Hey guys!
My name is Susan and I really want in on this May challenge! I am currently around 160 lbs and would like to drop another 15 by May. That's about 5 lbs a month which I think is doable. Soooo.... 145lbs here I come!

Good morning everyone! Glad to see all of the weigh-ins and that we are all on track to totally rock this challenge. I am officially down 13.5 pounds since January 1 and am excited about how my tightest pair of jeans is now becoming one of the only pairs that isn't too big... Feb 1 I am rewarding myself with some new clothes cause that is the day that Target gets in their new British designer. I love the fun little British lines they bring in from time to time and there is no reason to spend more on clothes...at the rate I am going, I will just have to buy more new ones soon enough because of all of the weight loss WHOOOO HOOOOOO! That is a great feeling. It feels wonderful to have all of your hard work pay off. TOTALLY!
