Good to here your back on track Dolly. That's what's so good about this board. Having buddies along the way can really keep you motivated and give you a push when things get tough. We all have low moments it's just picking up and getting on with it that makes them only moments.
I am determined this time to finally make the necessary life changes to finally get off the diet rollercoaster. Checking in almost daily with this group is really helping with the motivation.

Default what a great idea!

Dolly I love the idea to print off what others say to help us remember you are pulling for us. Thanks!!!!

Last night I was wanting chocolate and there was nothing in the house. i found myself picking at things; chips, crackers, anything to try to get rid of that. But what I realized was that it was ok to eat some chocolate not a whole big bag of M&M's. If I didn't I was going to be worse off nibbling at everything else. So I asked hubby to pick up a little something to share on his way home from a meeting. It sis the trick. I fell ok with it.

I have to weigh myself after yoga and I hope I haven't gained it all back with all the stress I have had I have not been able to eat right this weekend. I 'll post in bit and let you know.

Wow thanks for the results Snow! 77 lbs combined is fantastic - grats to all of us! And special grats to Aimin and Kate for your fantastic results. It just goes to show you that exercise really is the key.

WBM: It just so happens that this morning I discovered a great way to get some chocolate in without totally blowing it. I found this in a cookbook I picked up for my 2-year old:

Mash up a banana then put 2 tbsp of peanut butter on top with 1 tbsp of chocolate chips. Melt it in the microwave on high for 45-60 seconds then stir it up. I spread some on a piece of toast this morning. They say it keeps in the fridge for a bit but DD and MIL finished it off for me so I'm not sure how well it stores.

There is also a recipe around here somewhere for fluff which is just jello light that is mixed with yogurt (once the jell-o is set). It makes a nice snack. I prefer the strawberry on strawberry myself but I'm not very inventive.

Dolly: Good for you for getting back on track! I can sympathize with you completely because I have been going through the exact same thing! I lost my way these last 2 weeks and I've finally gotten myself back on track today. This board and contest is a great support! Your reasons for keeping the weight off are my goals! So I'll just keep telling myself that if I stick to it, I'll get there too.

I made it to the gym on Monday and Wednesday plus I did 20 minutes of Pilates this morning.

I'm hoping, seeing as I've caught myself mid-week, I'll still be able to reach my goal of 10lbs off by Monday's weigh-in.

So here's a mid-week cheer and I hope everyone is having success!

Default not too bad

Well I am sorry to report I gained back 1 lb, but I am not discouraged. I know it was due to not being able to work out and not sticking to my diet. and not drinking my water. plus all the rotten stress.

Anyway I am back on track and am planning on better results next week.

thanks for the recipe. I am worried that I would eat the whole darn bag of chips though. I am going to try it though. I let you know if I can be in control!

The scale I used the other day was not my normal scale. It was off by three pounds! I usually use the better scale. It is kept in a locked room. I couldn't get in yesterday...door was closed. but today the door was open!!!!!! I even tested both scales. Yep the one I weighed myself on yesterday was off! I actually started to cry a little. It felt so good to see that I hadn't messed up even if it was only a little. Down three pounds!!!

I was having a down day today and this has really perked me up.

I like good scale!!!

Thanks to everyone who are such good examples and keep me going!

I hate all other scales than my own so I understand. I go to the doctor and I weigh 10 lbs more than my one at home. I stick with the one I use daily LOL

WBM I am glad that you got your scales all sorted out

Kate keep plugging away and soon everyone will notice! They won't be able to take their eyes off of you.

Cubb- thanks so much. I really believe that exercise is key in success too.

Sumisan--What is it about that damn evil doctor's scale anyway? Of course it doesn't help that your appointment is always at like 3:00 in the afternoon when you are wearing the heaviest shoes you own and a cable knit sweater..Uggghh. The doctor's scale had me listed at 175 when I weighed 160 at home!!!! Nuts!
Well, I am thrilled and exuberant today because we had a half day at work and I went to my favorite store, boutique de Target (That's Target of course) and shopped the new Go International line by Proenza Schouler. I actually looked great in a pair of size 11 skinny pants! YAY!!! I allowed myself $200 worth of new young fun clothes just for my 14 pound lost in July. I am really hoping for at least 10 in February but will go for 15 so I don't lose my drive and enthusiasm.

Thanks for all of the well wishes.. Hope everyone is doing well today.

Default Can't wait to look Hot!

I know this is all about vanity for me but I can't wait to look hot again. I will tell you even though I am nearly 42 no one thinks I look it. Everyone says I look like I am in my 20's. So it would be really nice to be fit and look 20 something. even though my hubby likes me fat (Big Boobs and I actually have a butt) I know he will like me thinner. I hope this doesn't sound just awful, but I know I will be more fun in bed and he has to like that. I certainly don't feel like prancing around at this weight. It seems like everything just flops everywhere! which I think is gross. Well that was really personal, But I know a lot of us feel this way.

I am looking forward to hitting 239 now I haven't seen numbers like that in years!
