Good Morning, all! It's nice to read of so much success in this challenge.

Am running late today, so this will be quick.

Good progress on more exercise. Scales only lower by 1/2 pound, but learned much this week about balancing the food plan.

Wishing everyone a day filled with grace and success!

Morning

Today's weigh in went as expected. Back down to 175.4...the trick for me is to keep going. I raised my calories today so i can have a little something for supper so i don't feel deprived. I plan on cooking for supper tonight and im eating a small portion of everything . I'm making country fried steak/gravy, mac-n-cheese,mashed potatoes, biscuit and green beans

Here is my Week in review: calories in vs calories out

Monday-1695 Burned 457
Tuesday-1585 Burned 391
Wednesday-1505 burned 260
Thursday-1765 Burned 55
Friday-1520 Burned 448
Saturday-1500 Burned 526
Sunday(today) around 2000

Today is a cardio and yoga workout...

I was satisfied all week with these calorie amounts. I can't remember a time when i was hungry and that is my goal. Im proud of myself this week Ate whole foods for the most part (not all the time) but most of the time.

Silverlife-congrats on the 1/2lbs thats great! A loss is better than nothing at all,lol

Anexia-Yay on the 6lbs! You go girl! Nice job

bigmamatexas- GL to you too...

Serbrider-I read your other post on finding structure and i agree with the other posters. Just wanted to send you hugs, sorry your having a difficult time right now. Looks like your trying really hard to stay on plan and that's great. You know what they say "If there's a Will there's a way" You'll get there.

Lippy100485- Welcome and YES! You will be able to go more than 5minutes on that exercise machine. You can do it! Good Luck to you!

dcapulet-The most important thing is that your trying...you'll get there! Good luck to you as well!

Lori-I broke my microphone DH said he found a way to get an echo on it then I tried singing something the other day and i could barely hear my voice So i rephrase my comment...ahem...DH BROKE MY MICROPHONE when he gets it working again i will be back to singing. I need to go on there and listen to your songs..I love your voice in that last song i heard. Did you hear me sing Taylor Swifts "our song" yet? Its so hilarious...my country accent is very strong in that one,LOL later gator

love2b150-Congratulations on your weight loss so far! That's AWESOME!!!

thepapillon- Welcome and good luck. I feel your pain, when i first started losing weight it melted off...now its not so easy

fruitlady-Congrats on the loss. Icecream is one of my weakness too. My favorite is moose tracks

jigglefree-Have a great day today and workout!

I think that catches me up with personals! Have a great Sunday everyone

misspriss... thanks. It's just actually getting it into my head at ALL times (not just the times I'm on here or exercising) that I need to stick with it. I can do it... I know I can... just like I know I can do other things. It's just... getting that knowledge in action that's the "difficulty" right now.

Good Morning everyone again. I just love this site wish i knew about when I started dieting in 2007. Thanks for the welcome and the encourgment from e1. Just a little about me if I havent mention it in the beginning when I started dieting in dec 2007 I had reach my highest weight of 330 and decided that was it I had to do something. I got to where I couldnt walk and I still have a little trouble some days. I have alot of pain at times. I have arthrits and i've been told by a dr. in 2004 that I must had injured my tail bone because it is pressing on my spine. In fact my lower back is hurting this morning. She did not say what can be done about it so I just live with it. Im hoping if I get the weight off I will get some relief from some of the pain. That why I do my excercises in the pool it takes the pain away. I would like to use my equipment here at home I have 3 machines here but they just sit and collect dust. Maybe next challenge will motivate me to use them. I was useing the machines at the gym but I slack up on them and started swim laps instead then hr of water arobics. So I spend 2 hrs in the every monday thru friday. I do go to TOPS and im the weight recorder for Gladewater TX #1925. Oh and I think ive lost 9 lbs since Feb. by Jillian Michaels web site. Ok I'm sure I need to shut up and let someone else say a word LOL. Hope e1 has a good Sunday and I will post Calories this evening. Suppose to rain here but I never count on it, useally goes around our place. bye for now carrot for each lb lost for Labor Day challenge

Anexia, congratulations!

Amelia, thanks for the kind thoughts and congratulations on your success. Your dinner sounds splendid!

Serbrider, am sending you good thoughts for success. Take good care of yourself, ok?

Lori, hope you're Sunday is going very well. Congratulations on maintenance!

Lippy and Papillon, welcome!

BigMama, it's great you are staying on your plan!

Mrs. C, those smaller sizes do taste like salad, and protein. What a great thought!

Love2b, how super you are having such success. I'm so glad. Congratulations!

Took a bit of a break last week, and gave myself mostly maintenance calories, but upped my exercising quite a bit. This week is back to fewer calories, but with the upped exercise.

Sending you all best thoughts for success and much joy!

Lori- thanks for the advice, I'll check it out.

misspriss- my favorite ice creams are, Weis's brand light chocolate peanut butter cup( the only brand that has a light version in this flavor) and fat free chocolate marshmallow frozen yogurt by Turkey Hill. Check them out, I don't mean to blow your diet though. lol just a good occasional treat is ok!

As for me, I'm dropping some of this water weight. I was in the bathroom every hour yesterday! Lost 1.5lbs more as of this morning. And what do I do? After breakfast I had some light chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream, about 2 cups! Not good, 520 calories just for that! Now I have been cutting back all day to make up for it. Ended up having 1365 cal. for the day.

Well 3 weeks later I couldn't resist Cause I noticed I was basically wearing same top/Jeans As my before July 4th pic(the top & jeans & belt same & bracelets ect.!)~Some things I am wearing(like hat to headband~And black necklace to white necklace/ and u can see the sticker on my door in the after new one of today~ect. Are different) But anyways I can already see a difference can y'all? I have been working on toning Big time ~if u can't see much of a difference thats ok ~PLEASE BE HONEST ~this is 3 weeks of toning & exercising & Staying basically OP~2 days of going over calories by about 200 each time or so.(Not bad) from 150.8 to 148.4 Not much loss on the scale (just 2.4 ~But looks like more to me)

(Areas I am working on toning up is Upper arms, Tummy, & Upper legs~thighs)

Added Note:
oh & lighting was different or something cause before pic is darker looking sorry! Will try to post again On Labor day also~If the jeans still fit(there getting loose & if the top aint tore up by then ~I am always catching those strings/fringe hanging down on everything!UGH~LOL)

Good Morning, all! Sounds as though everyone is doing really well.

BigMama, I think we all have to do what we think is right for us about eating and moving, and everything. It is great to move every day, and I'm sure being in the pool is refreshing. I eat fewer calories than many here, but I'm at the grey-haired time of life.

Krista, I have no clue what all the codes are, L1, L2 and such, but it sounds as though you are exercising intensely, which does feel grand.

Fruitlady and Lori, congratulations on doing so well!

Love2b, four miles! Goodness, that must have felt great.

Roxie,

Hope I didn't miss anyone.

I'm down another 1/2 pound today and am encouraged by my progress. I noticed when I lay down to sleep yesterday that I couldn't rest my arm on my hip because my hip bone, at that angle, didn't have any padding. Was an odd feeling. Old ladies have sharp bones, unless they are very round, oh well. Hooray for lots of pillows!

My Callanetics and stretches this morning were lovely. Time for a bit of tea, to watch the morning twilight and to water the plants.

Wishing you all much grace and success today!
