Hey there everyone.
I'm doing really good. I'm in a good place in my mind, which is very important. I'm eating well and working out at every opportunity. I will meet my 10 mile goal before the month is over...at least that's my plan.

All that talk about spicy food, hot sauce and salsa...I had to have dinner at a Mexican Restaurant. I think it was the reason my one mile run was so difficult but I pressed my way through. I'm feeling great about my running and making it to my goal.

How is everyone doing??

for every mile I run!!!

Hi all! Hope you all are doing great today!

I'm feeling great, I'm at 105.6 as of this morning, that's another 2 oz. loss. When I get to this point, I feel so good and I look the way I want to look. It's funny how losing just a few ounces a day really shows. Usually I blow it right away by over eating cause I know I'm at a safe weight, I feel comfortable to eat more. But not today, I had 1255 cal. Only one serving of ice cream before I went for my walk/jog, it was really good, but I didn't want to blow it all away on light extreme cookies n cream ice cream!

UGHHHH~TOM HAS COME TO WRECK THE DAY! hehehehehe
(& the next 4 or 5)LOL
Anyways was still weighing 148.4 this morning Even with the bloat so that made me happy cause I usually get a decent swoosh after Time of month is over~as long as I stay OP ~which I usually always do.So that gives me motivation!
Amelia~School starts here always the last week of August. So I am shopping now to prepare...Little Chris has dropped 12 pounds so I am hoping to find some athletic type pants incase he continues to lose or gain Cause jeans would be a waste of money since he wears mens sizes~And there is no adjustable waist to there jeans~that I have seen.
Anyways~You could get paid for your country singing! You have a true country sound~Which they need to get back too! I hate some of the newer country ~some of it sounds like pop or something~I am a huge Randy Travis fan~LOL! I know so weird considering I love Cyndi Lauper~to Skidrow~To Warrant, Then back to even Paula Abdul, ect. I like a variety of tunes I guess~But old fashioned true country voices with true accents rock~SO U ROCK At COUNTRY!
HUGS!

On my way to Shop hottopic with dial up for the 17 year old that refuses to wear anything other than black tees With either her favorite bands or skulls~Maybe anime Or twilight,New moon Or eclipse or whatever they call it all~& Black pants Jeans Only~So hard to find in store during this time! So I like hot topic but it runs slow with dialup! Ughh here goes 3 hours! Shop til ya drop~I hope I Don't drop Unless its a few pounds!!hehehehhe
HAVE A SUPER DAY EVERYONE!

Good Morning, everyone!

Jigglefree, you are really collecting those little runner icons! Congratulations! In case this might interest you, I've been doing some of the yoga at Yogatic, and quite like it. The woman who teaches is easy to follow. There are many free videos on the site. Short enough for success, too! Have you considered Callanetics? It is amazing for toning up. For me, it's miracle exercise. I use "Ten Years Younger in Ten Hours" most of the time.
Love2b,
Fruitlady, am sending you lots of good thoughts. It's grand keeping one's plan.
Lori, all the best with the shopping! That's quite a project.
WesternSouthernGirl, hope you have a lovely time!
BigMama, congratulations on the ten laps. That is super! It's wonderful to be able to move more and challenge ourselves more.

I altered my food plan a bit and am enjoying it. Keeping my usual exercise regime of gardening, walking, Callanetics, rebounding, and a few other movement treats. Some days it feels easy, some days it takes being very deliberate and careful pacing to do them, but I'm always glad I do.

I wish you all graceful success today in all the choices, and much joy!

yesterday i went to my first Zumba fitness class and omg I was exhausted. it's so much fun but it isn't easy at all. I have never been so sweaty in my whole life! I had to stop for a couple of times couse i felt like my heart is going to jump out and i'm gonna faint. I think my pulse got too high.

i have to take it slow,i had a baby less than 3 months ago and I'm still out of shape.

Can't wait for the next class!

Today I'm 159. happy happy! this time it didn't go that low just because of alcohol

Good morning everyone. Had my first official weigh in today and I am down 3.4. Whoop Whoop! I went over my calories a little yesterday, but for some reason I was starving last night so I had a jello mousse cup and a few peanuts. We took the kids swimming at my mom's after dinner, so maybe all the extra activity in the pool just made me hungry. No biggie though. Trying to figure out what to do with the kids today. My daughter ( age 8) would sit in front of the TV all day if I let her. Maybe we will head out too the park before it gets too hot.

One more thing... is there a graph anywhere on this site where I can post my weekly weigh ins and is just for personal use? I like to be able to see my ups and downs ( hopefully all downs).

Enjoy your Thursday!

Good Morning everyone! Today I feel more excited than ever! I had a little set back over the weekend from my grandsons birthday and the cook out. I weighed in on Monday 1.6 pounds up. Today I am down the 1.6 and an additional .4! I am 204.6!! In the past a slip like that would have left me feeling defeated and then I would just say "now is not the time to diet"..but I really believe this is going to happen this time. I was thin all through my 20s around 135-140. I was able to eat anything and I didnt exercised and never gained weight. I was pretty active though. I use that as my motivation ( I remember how confident I felt) and still have a few outfits from then. I think I will dig them out of the attic and hang them in my bathroom!! I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning

Westernsoutherngirl, Enjoy!

Lori, shopping online whew, you go girl.

BigMama, woohoo on the 10 laps. (wish I could swim)

SilverLife I just love your spirit (I think I told you that already but I do) :

Anexia, you described my experience with Zumba exactly. I said I was gonna try it again but haven't done it yet. I too stopped several times and was so sweaty it looked like I had walked through a yard of sprinklers

Hi Saggzz congrats on the 3.4lbs.

Hi JenS, we were typing at the same time. Woohoo on the lost. I can't say the same but great for you

I'm having a good day, stomach is feeling OK for now. I am cutting out the water flavor packets today and dairy, to see if that will keep me from feeling bloated. I've been experiencing this off and on and it is a very miserable feeling.

Well hope everyone has a great ON POINT day ... to ALL

Hi everyone!!!

I am feeling a little stiff this morning, but I am sure I will loosen up through out the day. I am feeling really good about my movement and weightloss this month. I am excited to see what my weight will be on the 31st.

saggzz - I just use microsoft excel to chart my weight. I also use excel for recording my daily cals.

Morning

Looks like everyone is doing great, congrats to those who are losing!!!

Lori-I love all kinds of music too...Metallica to George Strait to Sara Evans. Its all good!!! I also love some classical every now and then. I use to have a cd that had bedtime classical songs on it but i can't find it. I use to love that cd. I hear ya on the growing boys/kids. My kids have outgrown everything i bought for them back in may for school. I've already gotten two outfits a piece for them and will shop some more this weekend. It can get so expensive. We go to walmart or Ross for them and its still expensive

Hello to everyone out there!

guys, im going bonkers. My Hubby took the scale away from me last Sunday after I weighed and i haven't been on it since...ACK. I've been doing super good this week and would LOVE to know how much I weigh..but can't weigh until Sunday morning.

I wanted to recommend a book if there is anyone suffering from compulsive/emotional eating. The Author is Geneen Roth , 'Breaking Free from emotional eating". I can really relate to the author. She has little 'steps' and tricks to help kind of 'reset your mind' when you start craving food. Its working for me this week. I've had some nasty cravings and mood swings. I think in general i just hate dieting but this will help until i can get to my goal weight. Here is a breif description of the book from her website:
Breaking Free From Emotional Eating teaches that there is an end to the anguish of compulsive emotional eating - and this book tells how to achieve it. Geneen Roth, who has brought understanding and acceptance to tens of thousands of readers, outlines a proven program for resolving the conflicts at the root of eating disorders. Using simple techniques developed in her highly successful seminars, she offers reassuring practical advice and many tools and strategies to help you break the binge-diet cycle forever.Based on the principles taught in Geneen Roth's nationwide Breaking Free Workshops, it is a how-to program that works; a guide book to be used for daily support, direction and encouragement. This book gives tools you can use in your day-to-day life in your search for help with emotional overeating.

Im constantly opening it up and it helps to remind myself of why I'm on a diet. Just another form of support i guess!

ok. enough babbling
Later Gators
