    I'm exercising more and enjoying it. Upped my calories a bit, to have a bit of a rest from the diet pace I'd given myself for several weeks. And noticing I need more rests than I've been taking. I thought because I'm a bit lighter that I wouldn't need to rest as often. Ha! We do learn about rest, too, in this weigh-measure-and-count lifestyle of ours.

  • Well, I'm OP again with calories today!! not to toot my own horn, but I'm proud of myself for finally gettin back on track!!! **TOOT TOOT** haha ok enough of that!

    I'm EXTREMELY excited to my WI tomorrow!!! I'm really hoping to see 170 again!!! It's been too long and June was such a horrible month for me!!! Today was my off day for 30DS, but I didn't do turbo jam either...got up early for the cable guy, then went ahead & left early for work to do some furnirture shopping...but i WILL do the TM before leaving work!

    BTW, thanks for all the "get better" wishes...I'm better today!

    misspriss~My kids got woke up today (the 2 boys from me singing whitneys ~greatest love of all) they of course was gripey LOL! I was outta breath horribly for over An hour & vowed to give up singing forever~! ~but will just give it a few days then go at it again ~maybe an easier song~Consdering she is like a power house On that & Me trying to be (AND NO I WASN'T BY FAR LOL) Just didn't work for me at all~I was totally freaked out using my inhaler & taking my anxiety meds. Not sure which one helped But About 20 minutes after I took the valuum ~I was fine~LOL~Anyways the hubby agreed with me ~u sounded so good~U have the southern accent in your voice & We both LOVED THAT! I really wanna hear ya sing stand by your man ~if they have it on there!~If they do I will pick at ya until ya give in ~LOL!U have the voice for that song!~P.s. When I use to drum(yes I use to play drums LOL~Acdc To Godsmack & so on) with my husband in our 2 person band ~years ago~I gave myself headaches 2~Just the change of noise in a room can do that to ya sometimes~HUGS*

    jensmith72 & hello to u today~Maybe take your own low calorie hotdogs for the cookout~Oscer myer has some Fat free ones that are super low in calories I think(If my memory serves me right) there just 40 calories per hot dog & Delicious! GOODLUCK!

    susie~ I read everything but the word peanut butter stood out to me~I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER! It's so hard to keep away from! Just start fresh 2morrow & U will be back on track again before u know it ~OH & tom gain Sucks! I hate that~HUGS*

    SilverLife & good evening to u 2! Exercise rocks! I have myself up to about 2 & 12 hours approx 6 days a week(usually 7 days a week ) But I have to take a break from time to time due to I get to sore to do it somedays~Makes ya feel so good though once u have accomplished it into your day ~SO WAY TO GO FOR ADDING MORE~SO PROUD OF U & upping the calories is ok with more exercise as long as u are burning off as much extra as you are eating so thats great too.!


    KDM~Wishing u those 170's!~it's so weird we usually post around the same time nightly LOL! Glad your better & So proud of how far u have come on your journey ~U are losing those pounds greatly!

    AS FOR ME ~Well I am still OP~I am Hoping for a new low soon~I Figure I am gonna be in the 130's before I am Maintaining ~I will know once I get there I guess~As I have said before One pound at a time~My tummy is honestly An apple shape & still Big ~I Just usually hide it with my clothes And good undies LOL! I just hope all the weight mainly goes off the tummy with my toning exercises,calorie amount, & Walking rather than everywhere else ~I am ok with everything else basically other than my thighs ~there just getting toned there a little saggy and my upper arms are a little saggy too~but I am toning them too.~SO I will eventually look good naked LOL!~I Am however very Happy with how far I have come & if I stick where I am at thats ok with me too.I like "ME" now~I never really did before.So thats all that really matters~but if I can have a smoking body while liking myself why not give it a try!LOL

    Today the rotation calls for a 30min cardio +abb work. Have no idea what im doing? I need more workout dvd's im bored w/the ones i have. I wish my treadmill wasn't in my bedroom where my DH is sleeping(he works night shift so he's asleep for most of the morning+mid afternoon)

    I had two glasses of red wine last night and woke up so dehydrated I drank a lot of water yesterday too...weird. And of course i HAD to step on the scale this morning ARG. I was up almost 2lbs. I've got to stop weighing every day. Its such a bad habit for me

    Lori-I was looking for stand by your man on karaoke and couldn't find it. I love Loretta Lynn and couldn't find any by here either. Maybe one day. I sang Alone by Heart yesterday and sounds just awful when i heard it playback...i then heard other people's version of the song and they didn't sound to great either and felt better hehehe (LOL). How do people get that echo effect on there microphone? I've got a cheapsy microphone that i paid 8bucks for. I will be singing some more today and thanks.

    Susie-I've been craving those cheeseburgers i've been seeing at Applebee's on tv. Smokehouse something another...i will probably cave and get one sunday for my cheat meal, lol.

    KDM-Here's wishing you a fabulous weigh in tomorrow. I would also LOVE to see 170...so far my lowest was 174. Yesterday i was at 175.4(since getting back on track)...just gotta keep going.

    Lori, I like your one pound at a time plan. That's a really good way to go. I have been putting pressure on myself for ten, but thinking one is good. Thanks!

    Amelia, hope you find some new exercises. I have been doing new ones. Got on my rebounder again and am doing some of the easiest ones at Yogatic. I like my regular routine, but it helps me to have new ones in the exercise plan, too.

    Upping my calories gave me a good night's sleep, but the scales went up a smidgen. It's hard to admit that I'm not young enough to get away with more than a rare splurge. So, today is lower, and am watching the carbs very seriously. Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich without the bread, etc. I don't like the carb sleepiness and lethargy.

    Am keeping my water intake at a minimum of 11 - 12 glasses a day. That has helped. The 8 or 9 glasses wasn't enough for me. It's too hot, and with doing more exercise, drinking more water feels nice.

    Am sending you all thoughts for victory every minute. I wish you a beautiful day.
  • WELL, I'm MAD! WI sucked! 174.6! WHAT THE HECK!?!?!?! I was 175.something last Friday and I"ve been OP ALL FREAKIN WEEK!?!?!?! There's 2 "possible" explanations...TOM is here AND/OR I did 1hr on the TM last night, inclined at 3-6% the entire time, 3-3.3mph...I know in the past when I've weighed every day, my weight almost ALWAYS went up the day after doin TM, don't ask me why, but it did...Buuuut, I'm still very frustrated!! I was hoping for 170, but 172 woulda been nice too!!! I've also had atleast 4LITERS of water every day!!! Now, I'm not sure if I'll weigh again tomorrow, wait til TOM leaves, or just wait til next Friday?!?!?! we'll see how I feel! and the funny thing is, I "FEEL" like I shoulda been back to 170, I know it's weird, but I just "feel" it!! LoL Goin to do 30DS L1 now....will BBL to check in also
  • Krista, it could be waste, water, or who knows? Could be you've been building muscle. We give so much power to the numbers on the scale. It could be different tomorrow. You know you've been staying with your plans and will succeed.

    I weighed 149.0 even today ~so slowly but surely taking off some weight.
    I will take slow over none anyday~LOL! HUGS EVERYONE!Off to Try to lIsten to me some Amelia On myspace~Btw Amelia I gave u a 10 star rating On that Miranda song & it didn't come up on there! I hope it does eventually! It let me comment a zillion times LOL!
  • been really really busy....wed. night i ate chinese food...thought maybe i ate a little too much...thursday morning the scale said 251....i thought this was going to be a "phantom weight loss"....i walked yesterday and went to work last night and stayed on plan...this morning the scale said 249...i guess if you eat like a "normal person", but get the exercise in you can still lose weight....have a great day everyone!!!
  • Didn't eat the best today. Didn't gorge myself though... and I'm under 1800... which is pretty much what I'm primarily aiming for while I'm here in Serbia... mainly because most of the things that I'm eating it's nearly impossible to count the calories in it because it honestly doesn't say. It is getting kind of frustrating though... I had a bag of chips... ~250 calories... but on the back... it said "per 100 grams, 540 something calories". It drove me nuts... because they don't always put the actual gram content of the BAG on the bag... eventually found it... hidden away in tiny print in a corner. 44 grams.

    It is kind of nice... because your calories aren't given to you by serving (which could be ANYTHING)... but by 100 grams worth of it... but at the same time... it's kind of annoying. Gives me some good math practice though...
  • hi everyone! Had a swell time at the pool today. Our trainer has been study on excercises for balance. Its great since I am subject to fall when im walking in the yard. Well I just got off the scales and I love it. It was good to me today. Hope everyone does good today also. One dancing carrot for each lb. starting weight 264 now 260
  • Hi everyone! Well, the past 2 days have not been good eating days for me. Ice cream has been a problem for me, sometimes I crave it everyday for days and of course I have to have it for days! I'm paying the price, my weight is up to 109.1 , I don't know if I even want to step on that scale tomorrow morning. Now, I feel like I got the ice cream thing out of my system and am kinda turned off by just the thought of it, yes, that's how much of it I was eating. I consumed 7500 calories over the past two days! Today was good, had 1370 cal.
  • I'm back. Had a very good day as for calories all ive had today is 912 in total. also with the lost of 4 lbs this week. Its going good for me so far. Hope everyone has a good evening. 4 carrots on Labor Day Challenge

    Bigmama, congratulations on such a good week!

    Looks as though several of us had a week of challenging math with the calories and the scales. I revised my plan and am looking forward to doing well this next week.

  • I am feeling pretty good this morning. How are all of you?

    When my daughters get up I am going to pack them a picnic breakfast for them to enjoy at the hot dog while I do W1D2 of C25K. (The neighborhood kids call the stretch of road that has grass in the middle the hot dog.)

    I am having a hard time sleeping lately. I feel like I should be sleeping great since adding workouts in atleast 6 days a week, but for some reason I keep waking up. I usually work out in the morning and I try not to work out after 5pm, since I know that can effect sleep patterns for some.

    I hear my girls starting to move around so I better go. I hope you all have a great weekend.
