  • LOL Anexia same here. I actually went with my walking buddies. I am 44, one is 54 and the other is 69. And they kept saying to me, "Come on girl, you can do it". I kept thinking oh my goodness, I can't let them out do me. But they did and it was their first time also.

    amber - I'm currently enjoying a tiny bottle of some super-hot haberno sauce, but once that's finished I'll have to try the sauce you recommend. It sounds tasty!



    Ladies, although I've been over my daily goal of 1400 calories, I have been logging every day like clockwork this week. I'm pretty happy.
  • Hey ladies!

    Wow been so long since i've been on here, I've missed so much! So quick update... My weight has been alright...i went up then down then up then down and now getting back down which is good. and by up I mean 3-5lbs from my average. I need what misspriss was talking about, the emotional eating, I started to snack late at night again which hasn't helped, and oh TOM is a few days away which isn't helping either. So along with the emotional stuff I've just switched medications....My old one wasn't working anymore, I was irritable, fatigued, anxiety, all that crap. So now I'm on a new one which seems to be helping. I got some more vitamins and hopeing it all helps.

    Monday was my birthday and the bf took two days off to pamper me! And he's taking me out this Friday with our friends and family to celebrate! It was a good birthday, I was very happy better than what I thought I'd feel. Like I said been an emotional past few months....Oh and I had an interview 2 days ago which went very well! So i'm really hoping I get the job. things seem to be looking up, and I'm trying to take it one day at a time.

    As far as the p90x goes, haven't been doing it, I realized I had some emotional issues to deal with first, and some decluttering to do physically and mentally before I add that into the picture. I haven't been focusing on my eating and that's more important. So once my medication settles in and I get my eating back then I'll move into that phase.

    misspriss: Wow you've come so far and you are so close to your goal! keep it up! And the book is something I may want to get...I have a habit of emotional late night eating. Oh and missing the hubs....yes I know exactly what you mean...I went to my mom's for a day and decided to stay the night jsut to have a lil vacation and miss the bf...love him but need to miss him

  • western--when i'm on vacation, I aim to maintain...not that I did that while at the beach, but that's what I attempted! haha or had planned!! just didn't do so well! GOOD LUCK!

    love2b-that's such a good idea about getting the take out box...but i've never been able to ask for it 1st thing, bc it looks so good and I think to myself "this won't be very good warmed up, I need to eat it now!" haha BUT it's a VERY good idea!!

    Lori--TOM SUCKS!! but look at you hangin on to those 140's! THAT'S AWESOME GIRL!!!

    saggz--if you create a ticker on TickerFactory.com, you can add dates when you enter a new weight and it will create a graph....then, I think you may be able to copy & paste the ticker link and even have a ticker before 3fc allows through this site...

    jensmith--WAY TO GET BACK ON TRACK!! I totally know how you feel...i used to do the same thing...UNTIL i found 3fc!!!

    jdon--glad to see you're still around!! hope you get things straightened out soon! Good Job staying w/in your range! YOU CAN DO THIS!!

    AS FOR ME---well, I weighed today and am down to 171.2! YAY! Down almost 4lbs! I know most of it was water weight, but its has taken forever to go away! TOM didn't help tho...which is almost gone so it may drop a little more...i may go back to weighin every day, but I dunno for sure...it was too much of up & down, it was driving me crazy..but maybe that I'm back OP for a while, it'll start acting better! hahaha 160's here i come!!! I did all 3 levels of 30DS this week and did the TM on Mon & Tues...yesterday was a rest day so I could weigh today, and today I'll do the TM...it feels good to be back ON PLAN!!!
  • I'm so happy with myself. I just got back from the gym and got another mile run in on the treadmill. If I get 10 miles in before the end of the month, I will be trying for another 10 next month.

    JD - It's good to see that you are back. I've been thinking about you hoping you get a job soon. I really hope the interview you enjoyed will be the job for you.
    KDM - I'm still doing 30ds but only on the weekend. I'm trying to get my running game together because I get great results in my legs and belly. I'm thinking about doing yoga or pilates.

    Okay everyone, we are almost at the end of July and we should be picking up the momentum because we still have a month to go...I plan on having something to celebrate when we get there.

    KDM, I read about doing that somewhere on here. I know that I can't eat it all. My stomach has definitely shrunk or my mind has made me think so. And I find the best way to heat up restaurant food is in the oven in foil. It holds it's flavor and it doesn't dry it out. And I love not having to cook or think about what I'm gonna eat. It's already there

    So happy to see you check in! It sounds like your doing great maintaining...i can't wait until I'm able to just maintain and not be on a diet all the dang time Im keeping my fingers crossed that the new meds work and thanks..your such a sweetie.

    Hello to everyone! Just skipping by.....did my workout earlier. Did The Biggest Loser Cardio Max and i think they should call that one TBL Lower Body max...Bob does SO MANY lunges and side lunges...i thought i was going to DIE! And I consider myself an intermediate/advanced exerciser. Im sure its to get the HR up but OH MY then level 2 was Jillian kicking my butt. Then i did some much needed Yoga for about 20mins.

  • I had planned to work out this afternoon, but my grocery shopping took way longer than I expected. I did very well at the store coupon wise, so I am happy that I went. I had planned to not work out on Sat, but now I will so it is not a big deal.
  • Hi Everyone, (so many to list) Its been fun reading all of your posts, I feel like I'm getting to know you. The challenge is off to a good start, I am not going to weigh myself until sunday, but I already feel good about my start. I've stayed pretty well on track, so we'll see. I have to go to a wedding tonight, and two picnics this weekend, but I intend to stick to water for beverage and eat right - depending on the selections. Also, going to skip the deserts and have fruit instead. Sounds like a plan...

  • Hi everyone, I hope you all have a great weekend! As a fund raiser for my son's hockey I am working at the Brooks and Dunn concert tonight. I plan on wearing my HR monitor, just to get an idea how many cals I burn while ringing up and serving frozen margarittas. I will be bringing a snack and dinner so I do not end up eating any junk food there.
