Hello All, busy thread lately. Just a quick check in for me!

Everything is going great. I had my planned indulgence meal on sunday then back on track yesterday. Got in a great workout yesterday and today is a much needed rest day. Im beat I do have laundry and some vacuuming to do but thats all im planning for today.

Susie-Sorry your going through the don't care's. Those days are so hard to deal with and being on a diet is hard enough. You will back to normal soon and forget all about it!

Hello to everyone Have a great day!

I had to edit and say THUNDA..you crack me up i can relate to eating the spicy stuff. I like the hot sauce on my bean burritos and the extra spicey salsa with my chips. I would like to try the foods your eating..

it seems that i have fallen off plan a bit. now that my family is back, we're kind of in a tug-of-war between eating out and making at home. also, my husband wants to try all the fast food joints CA has to offer. I am able to resist, but it's pretty hard. And sometimes I don't make it. I really don't want to go back to the way I was eating before, so I think I need a plan:

1. Make only the portions we will eat. If my husband wants more, he can have it - on his plate.
2. Eat out less - period.
3. Fruits and veggies at every meal.
4. No buying junk food
5. Me counting my calories

Any other suggestions?

I woke up late. Usually exercise on track and woke up late don't go together, but, hey, I'll take the win.

And I have insomnia. Again.

Nothing to do with the drowned-in-devil-sauce veggie burrito (ENORMOUS and only 400 cals) I downed for dinner, noooooooo...

Satan, thy name is spicy food. And my weakness thereunto.
I discovered this food (yes, I am the Christopher Columbus of food) called jalepeno kolaches and oh my, do I enjoy them at 3am when intoxicated. And then the pain begins. At least spice ups the metabolism, or so they say.

Oh, and migas. Migas with jalepenos and hot sauce. Also a late-night favorite.
I'd discuss this with a doctor but I'm sure the doctor would just say "You idiot, if you'd please not consume food as hot as the sun before turning in, you'd sleep better."... Oh, but they ouchy burning sensation in my mouth as I eat is soooo nice...

Stupid hot sauce.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE hot sauce and spicy foods too, and I have felt the burn at night. Have you ever tried Valentina's hot sauce? It is very, very good, with a nice rich spice flavor but without the stomach burn later. Even my hubby, who has ulcers, can enjoy it without pain or heartburn. It's available in grocery stores everywhere.

dcapulet, you know what I do with the extra food that is left over that I can eat? I bought these little containers so that I can separate the food into the correct portion for me. That way I am not tempted to put more on my plate than I should. When I eat out, I ask for a take out box so that I have only what I should eat on my plate. These are just some things that have helped me. Hope this helps a little

I hope everyone is haivng a good day!

Saggzz - welcome!

WesternSoutherngirl - on vacation I personally would aim to maintain, when we are an vacation my husband likes to eat out ALOT.

dcapulet - I do the same as love2b, seperating left overs into single serving size containers. If my husband wants more he can have 2 .

I have had some major mood swings since I have started working out watching CCs, I keep thinking it will balance out soon. My husband and I went to Dicks Sporting Goods to purchase my Polar F6. While there I thought he said, "Hey Cranky" and I turned around to see what he wanted and he was talking to his friend Franky. I had to laugh.

Okay made it through the day! Whew! Not pleasant and not all DH (throw in a cranky neighbor and a really moody teenager) and it was really an astounding day! But I stayed on plan, got my exercise in and I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED! Have a great evening all!
Will check in tomorrow and then probably not until the 10th!

envelope- Hi, yes the huge breakfast really works for me, but I never eat breakfast real early, I don't eat til 10am, I am hungry by then, I go out to walk and jog for 40 min. afterwards. My lunch is 2:30pm and dinner at 6pm. I eat a small lunch and dinner cause I'm not hungry for a long time after a 1000 cal. breakfast! I average 1300 or 1400 cal. a day and i have all day to burn the breakfast calories.

Oh I forgot, I lost 1.3 lbs more water weight. Back to normal now. I had alot of calories today(1796). I didn't have time for a big breakfast, only 500 calories,we had to take my mom to a doctors appt. I was starving for lunch by 2:30pm. I had a bigger lunch( lots of fruit and a greek yogurt), then ate 4 servings of ice cream and 2 reese's peanut butter cups, not good. Still ate my dinner at 6:30pm even though I wasn't hungry, I needed the protein. Wow, did I notice how much hungrier I get during the day without that huge breakfast. Tomorrow I'll have time for it!

Good Morning, everyone! Glad to read that everyone is working on moving forward. Am running late today, so must be quick.

Am working my plans, learning more, and adapting as I learn things.

I wish you all a lovely day, filled with goodness!

Good morning! My kids went to the sitters today and I am going to try and clean out their toys. They have lots of things that they no longer play with. It's much easier to clean out their rooms when they are not here. Hoping to get on the treadmill for 45 minutes this morning as well.

Have a great day!

Morning

Today i have a fullbody weight work on my schedule along with some sun tanning and some poos swimming, lol,

The hubby goes back to work tonight so that means i get some MUCH needed alone time after the kids go to bed. I plan on getting caught up on that series "the Closer" LOVE that show! I LOVE my hubby so much but my goodness, sometimes i want to miss him,LOL. His work schedule is crazy (night shift) and he will work 3days then off 3days then work 4days, off 4days...it was so hard to get use to this in the beginning. One of the reasons i have such a hard time finding a job.

anyways, sorry to ramble...my coffee has kicked in

Lori-Your so kind, really...you made my morning! I like to sing but i know i will never get paid for it. Taylor Swift (and all the proffesional singers) have such lovely voices. Your so sweet, thanks for your awesome comments. I read on your facebook how you wish the school year would start. Can you believe that my kids start back on August 9th. We have to go buy some school clothes this weekend

saggzz-i need to go through the kids toys as well, i will probably start when they go to school. Enjoy your walk!

westernsoutherngirl-Love your positive attitude. You will go far in your weight loss journey with that! Great job staying on plan yesterday.

envelope-That is so funny...I too suffer from major mood swings while dieting. How do you like your new heart rate monitor?

bigmamatexas-Great news on the pool exercise. Nice job on your calorie counting!

Hello to everyone i missed..sorry,ive got to go and eat some breakfast, im famished. Yesterday was one of the those 'hungry days' but i managed to stay at a decent calorie level. Yay me!

OK. LATER GATORS
