Diva & Hun.E - I tend to mostly stick to my St. Louis sports. I'm more of a hockey fan than anything (this is my time of year!) Since my Blues aren't in it im rooting for the Stars since I got to visit their arena this year. The Rams did draft Howie Long's son this weekend. At the press conference he was holding up his new team jersey with the number 1 on it.... Long 1. Oh and I'm a Jayhawks fan That was exciting.

Melissa -
I like your idea of wearing something red. I'm thinking I might try to find a red bracelet or something to always remind me. Good idea!!

I just thought of something!! Great suggestion that we all wear red to remind us of our team. You guys may want to check this out!!

If you to the American Heart Association website and click on Go Red for Women, you can sign up for the newsletter and get a
Go Red Dress Pin for free!!

I just thought that would be great for us all to have to remind us that we are taking care of our hearts and of our team!!

Just thought someone may be interested....

Aaaah! - I like the idea of a red bracelet or something like that. I'd be doing laundry all of the time if I got a red shirt specifically for working out. I have to think about what kind of red bracelet. Hmmmm?

Or if anyone comes up with a universal one we can all find somewhere let us know!

While we were at the park yesterday we started talking about fashion. Wolfs mother said you always dress nice but now you really dress nice. Wolfs sister in law said oh do you have some pointers. I looked at her husband ( wolfs brother of course ) and said. " If you name isn't Jesus and or you aren't under the age of 5 NO SANDALS and for heavens sakes, don't wear socks with sandals. How can that woman stand to be seen in public with that man. Jesus sandals and socks are his fashion statement lol.

I can't keep up with you guys!!

Are most of you returning from the last challenge?

This challenge couldn't have started on a better day -- I was back to my old ways and needed a swift kick in the rear to get back on track -- you saved me!!

Hope everyone has a great day and we intimidate the heck out of the other teams with our first weigh in!!

Default lol It is MY year of the red!

I decided last December that 2008 would be the year of the red for me. Instead of getting my normal brown planner, I purchased a red one. I moved all my contacts into a red address book and purchased a red MP3 player for working out. I am now (by sheer coincidence) on the RED TEAM!

This is perfect!

Greetings RED TEAM MEMBERS!

1. What would you like us to call you? Toni

2. What eating plan are you using? Counting calories

3. What is your favorite way to exercise? (coughs slightly) favorite way? none What do I do? I jazzercise and signed myself up for a 5k walk in May. I am trying to get sponsors as a way of keeping responsibility to train for the 5k.

4. What is one area of weight loss that you struggle with? PORTION CONTROL

5. What is one area of weight loss that you excel at? (blinks at the question)

6. What is your short term goal? Summer is about 50 days away. I would like to reach my 10% by that time.

7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? I haven't thought about a reward.

8. Best weight loss tip? If you have any, please share them.

9. Bob or Jillian? Jillian. I like Bob but I think that BL makes him out to be nicer than he really is. With Jillian, what you see is what you get.

10. Tell us a little about yourself! See above re: Year of the RED.

I did a quick check and I think there are 17 of us returning that were on the RED team last time. We have several that were on other teams last time but are on the RED team this time. (I don't know how many because I didn't get to know some of them by name). With 61 or so people on our team this time, the majority of us are newbies (I believe).
